I just love how even when the meat sticks get down low to the guy's hand, the fox is still careful and considerate of the human's fingers and gently takes little bits at a time.
It must be Amazing to have a wild animal befriend you like that. It’s also wonderful that you allow the animals to continue to be a while even though it has befriended you thank you for taking care of her.
Very nice, She seem very comfortable around you and very careful not to nip when she take small pieces from you. You have a very special friend. Thank you for the video
Some foxes have a difficult time in cities..road accidents and sometimes hostile humans..they are beautiful creatures andI feed them every night..some have Sarcoptic Mange so I put drops of medicine in the food as it’s an awful slow death if they have it..so nice to see them recover..what a beautiful creature..why would man want to go,to Mars when there are miracles like this fox on earth
You just don’t know how lucky you are to get this close to this beautiful animal so jealous. The foxes I feed are afraid of humans but I suppose that’s a good thing because some humans are so cruel. By the way loving the video 👍❤️
Thankyou for your comment Dustwitch, hope your friend is ok in your country from that bite, but we in the uk don't have rabies, We have Laws in the Uk to stop ANYONE bringing any animal in to our country, so all our wild life is safe the most they will catch is a cold.
R2tag .... thank you for sharing this with us. What an absolute privilege to be able to be so up close and personal with a wild fox. She's obviously placed enormous trust in you and feels completely safe around your garden. Can't help feeling slightly envious. Hope you enjoy her company for a long time to come, and who knows she may decide to have a litter of cubs close by too.
Omg god too see a Fox dig a tiny hole cover the tiny hole and pat in down with the nose that is so fantastic too watch. Thank you showing this beautiful fox
It cost me five thousand dollars in fines because i was caught with a pot belly pig in my home as a pet that i bought in Florida....i had to choice but to get rid of it..this was in Skokie Illinois.
@@philipbahia7139 I shouldn't think this fox has been raised as a pet - the video notes say it's a wild fox. I don't know if this video is from the UK or not, but in the UK we have a lot of urban foxes, i.e. foxes that live in towns and it's not that unusual for them to get quite tame and make friends with humans that feed them - they start off wary, but they gradually overcome their natural fear. They don't all get as tame as this one, but I have one like it that visits me every day and I really enjoy her visits. Even my wife has become very fond of her, and she's not really an "animal" person.
I have a family of foxes that are super friendly near me that enjoy human attention and feedings, they adapt extremely well to urban living and learn that ingratiating themselves and acting as nonthreatening as possible will get people to feed them. (cats do the same) I would highly recommend getting up to date rabies shots and such just in case and maybe wear gloves when feeding. (foxes can be kinda bitey out of affection or play)
This is how we now have so many dog breeds...they came into human contact and trust was developed and they developed a bond with humans and partnered together in hunting and working. Wolves and foxes alike have experienced this bonding with people and it is natural. Good video.
It's crazy to me sometimes just how much the side profiles of these beautiful canids resemble drawings and hieroglyphics that we've found dating back to ancient times. We are
We can actually say that dogs came from wolves based upon DNA research. But, that said, what I hate most about the killing of foxes is that so much of their behaviour is so similar to domestic dogs. I have known people who stated their love for their 'working dogs' and yet would shoot a fox without hesitation. It's just a shame that more people don't follow your example and think a little more.
@@ateleskier7066 Very well said. I did not mean to imply that modern "dogs" were not a product of wolves.. I was suggesting that perhaps "some other dogs" may have been a product of foxes long long ago.
Thank-you for your comment Mallory2504 lol lol Heck No I like them ;o) I BUY her these Munchy Chews for dogs from Armitage Good Boy. Promotes healthy teeth & gums Helps fight plaque and tartar. Available in a variety of colours and packs of 100 also she gets fresh meat every day that I from my local butcher. I also get fruit such as apples & other fruits. She is a wild animal & comes & goes as she likes but when shes in my garden she gets all I have said above.
Lovely, up till recently I was doing the same. For a couple of months mine would wait at the kitchen door every night at about10pm for me to feed her slices of McNuggets, if she wasn't waiting she would come when called. Then one day she stopped coming, presumed dead, I miss her visits as she was a really sweet natured little "friend". We still have foxes but they come on their own terms for their feeding, maybe one day they will be sociable too?
Very cool! We have little gray foxes where I live. They're adorable. Beautiful little things. I would love to get friendly with one. Squirrels, too. Love squirrels! Give it a brush. Beautiful fur. Can't stand it that these gorgeous animals are so abused.
I feed 3 foxes every night near where I live, dog walkers all say " you shouldn't be feeding those vermin " I just say f off and mind your own business
Below are two main reasons that foxes are not as commonly domesticated as house cats or dogs: 1. They are in many ways more intelligent and far more independent than their cousin wolf's descendants (aka "the domestic dog"). 2. They are *not* in many ways as intelligent or as independent as the modern urban feline (aka "the common house cat"). I've heard it said many times that humans domesticated the wolf, but cats domesticated the human.
I hope he’s only approaching you. Others may consider him rabid if he follows or tries to approach them. He feels comfortable enough to lie down and nap, and that’s a huge level of trust. 👍
I have two fox families that have shown up here, so I'm putting out raw chicken wings and legs and puppy kibble for the kits. They are not used to me yet, but one of the kits seems interested and is coming close. They don't show up at the same time, but always at dusk or later in the night. I"m hoping to make friends. We shall see. There are 5 kits in the two families, and I've seen at least 2 adults.
I just love how even when the meat sticks get down low to the guy's hand, the fox is still careful and considerate of the human's fingers and gently takes little bits at a time.
This fox knows he can be at peace and safe there.
So adorable. Love hearing those little num num sounds of eating. She seems to prefer her food cut up in bite size pieces 😄 ❤👍
What a gorgeous animal. Beautiful, mesmerizing eyes!

I looove the little common garden lizards. Plenty of those when it's warm, here in Florida.(USA) They look at you when you talk to them.

A wonderful video and great pleasure to see.
I love foxes,in Syberia they domesticate the foxes as pets to sell, they are truly beautiful creatures.

DS Rai - very carefully!
@@gliderrider LMAO! 😂💓

Well I'm sure it wasn't the deep-fried, hormone laced, compressed chicken filler that killed it...
