One summer she disappeared for 2 weeks and returned with 5 cubs, which she left with us to look after (her family as far as she was concerned) whilst she went next door to sleep in a neighbours garden (they fed her too). Wild Fox cubs, just like puppies, are into everything they can bite, chew, sniff or pee on. The house and what was in it was especially of interest to them. Marque Markofthebeast your right,... Sorry to say. But I feel like some animals need a little more help then others ???? I don't wish any harm to them but at the same time I don't want to see them starve to death either ? I really don't know if it is bad or good for them ?
So Touchy. Life is for Wild Animals very harsh. They literally struggle to survive everyday and they do die of starvation, plus the human perversity of hunting, ie killing them for pleasure. Thanks for Helping out this Beautiful and Smart Mammal in a very basic of her needs: Food and Water.
Javier I was taught to hunt from the day I could hold a gun in my hand and pull the trigger. I can also shoot a bow proficiently. That's a huge advantage for man, and I never saw the "sport" in it. The only 2 animals I ever killed were 2 squirrels. The last one was a goof with a slingshot, just trying my luck. I immediately regretted it. I've never intentionally killed an animal again (animals that dart into traffic can't be helped without causing an accident). I can hunt if I had to for survival, but as long as I can provide for my family, I don't see the need to kill. I always told my parents, "I'm going hunting," but would head off with a gun or bow and just spend hours in the woods. After you've watched animals in their routines or just playing, that curiosity leads to a respect for all life, no matter how great or small. On the other hand, I've seen some hunters who will bag their legally allowed quota of game, only to give the meat to families who are struggling to put food on the table. These guys don't have the money to donate food, but they have the skill to hunt and feel like they're doing a good thing. In my area, hunting's the states way of animal control. You can't drive to town or to church without seeing 4-5 deer that have been freshly killed in traffic that day. So hunting's a way to cull the deer population so they're not out in the road causing accidents.
Oh that was adorable. What a sweet fox and so lovely you appreciate her presence. Always seems like a privilege when wild animals come onto your space. Foxes are beautiful and should be treated with respect🙏🦊💚
I know someone who has three red foxes come into his yard every afternoon to be fed along wit a few raccoons, they are wild creatures but they come up close to him without fear, I believe to show their gratitude. After they're fed they all, foxes and raccoons roam around the yard unafraid and they even play.
Years ago,i needed to practise trumpet, went in to the woods ,lit a fire and played Miles Davis for hours, then suddenly this young Fox came along, lay beside me and listened, not looking for food at all. When She/He gathered that i wasn´t gonna play anymore, looked me straight in the eyes, yawned and went away..
+patrikez1 learn from the foxes trust no one, they are wonderful but have been hunted down for their fur for so many years just for people to wear their coats perhaps they are how shall I say not allowed to trust humans who abused the species. Oh how clever the surviving foxes my children do not trust humans except like on this video maybe for you life is changing....No one wears a shroud of the old days of your wonderfulness around their shoulders damn them all for all you suffered with endless mass of the killings just for elegance? Yes great narrative voice indeed. I live in the Blue Ridge Mtns of N Carolina USA. We had a mama red tailed fox nest under one of our sheds. She gave birth to her 3 kits there and when they got big enough she would bring them out after dark to exercise a bit and we would hear their funny cackling noises. We have a big yard light on a telephone pole in the back by the shed. We felt privileged to watch them grow up. Before long mom would bring them out in the mornings and evenings while it was still daylight. Their sparse see through tails began to fill out as they grew. We put dog food and some scraps out for them. There was a creek below the shed for water. Soon the little buggers legs began to grow long and lanky. Mom skinned a rabbit one day while the kits watched. I think it was a show n tell on how to fix dinner. There is about 3 acres of rolling green grass between the neighbors house and ours. The growing kits had a great time running and rolling around together like kittens. Mom would sit at a distance and watch over them as they played. Sometimes dad would join her admiring their little brood. As fall was approaching mom would take them on into the woods to hunt but they would return for their after dinner romp. Our foxes are a furry red, have beautiful thick bushy tails with a white tip and they have black legs. Striking beauties they are. We almost felt like they were our domestic pets. One evening I was in the front yard and I saw papa fox trotting up the drive in front of the house. I just stood still and allowed my eyes feast on a the awesome sight before me. Papa fox was larger than mama and his thick fur coat just bounced as he trotted along. He looked at me as he went by.. I'll never forget that sight... as he looked at me with a wide smiling mouth and never slowed his pace... I could sware he winked with one eye. 😉 On the other side if the creek was a pasture with horses. The grounds keeper would mow with a large tractor before winter. The neighbor's son told me his dad shot and killed a fox that was running behind the tractor mower. My heart sank and I gasped in horror. Why.... oh no... why??? Because of peoples ignorance about foxes they think they are dangerous. Maybe the childhood story of Little Red Riding Hood has something to do with it. Or perhaps the man just likes to shoot and kill things. I know he paid someone to kill a black bear that got into his garbage. Black bears are not dangerous either. And we wonder why our wildlife are endangered species. 😥😢😪
REally that Fox was scared to death!. I know we want to help the lessor of us But the animal needs to remain leary for he needs to care for himself, not all humans are compassionate.
Virginia Conway you are absolutely correct. The fox is very nervous and he has every right to be. There are many horrible people who want to harm them. Like the fuckin. Uk royal family who go on fox hunts. Shame on the Queen of England and her shameless heart less family for killing these beautiful animals.

She's lovely! I own acres of woods and prairie in northern Wisconsin with a river passing through the middle of it, which attracts bounteous wildlife. My favorite are the foxes, which do keep down the rodent population, and are quite friendly and gentle with us 'hoomans". They're even tame-able, and quite playful, too.

This is due to natural selection. Foxes that were not suspicious and wary would fall for fox traps and be killed. Those that avoided these traps survived.
Actually I think she was more wary about being caught stealing another animal's food. Look how she had no problem exploring the other side of the table away from the food. She didn't go far, but she wasn't as nervous.

@spider man you're only capable of having that dumb hippie view because your ancestors busted their asses eating foxes and not being eaten by them long enough to establish a system capable of having people be able to not hunt for survival.
While I understand your sentiment...feeding wild animals is not coexisting. It's creating a very unnatural dependency that rarely ends on a positive note for the animal being fed.
@@stoner84x Not me at my current age and fitness, but as an old fragile man then why not. I'm sure there's some instance where that would be possible. A starving fox vs an old weak person, fox wins I'd say. I had one follow me across a local park on my way home from the pub one night. Just followed me keeping about 4 feet away. It was a grey old fox and when I got across to the street it stopped following me.

Who in their right mind would fear such a lovely creature, I reckon people who fear foxes probably fear their own shadow too. We have foxes in the garden and they get on fine with our cats, they just ignore each other! One of ours will let you get right up to it and the other day it ate out of my hand, what fox could resist a tasty bit of fish? It did nibble my finger but it knew I was not food and did not bite.
As I wrote earlier, our fox backs away from our cats so they don't come in contact. We have had foxes for ever and cats for 20+ years and we have not had a problem.Doubtless someone has had a problem, but then there are some unlucky folks out there who get rained on even on a sunny day.
Thank you for being kind to it. There is so much I could say. I believe they have every right to be here on earth as we have and at every given opportunity, we should treat animals with kindness. God has put them here with us and given them to us to take care of.

+GregLH0 People may smile when you say that but I think Foxes wouldn't mind being domesticated also. Lets be honest, it's a good life as long as they aren't confined to a crate and not exercised. It's definitely a great winter time deal isn't it? LOL. I wonder if a Fox would ever be protective of it's human? I have heard they aren't to be trusted around little children. I have heard that quite a bit. Well if they come to humans without being approached first, I think they are on the slightly more domesticated side. All dogs come from wolves and the vast majority of them hated us. It won't surprise me to see Foxes as the next humans best friend. Great video and thank you. God bless.
GregLHo in Siberia they keep Foxes to study them. After the third generation in captivity they they start to develop floppy ears and less bushy tails and really look like small dogs, but they are still hard to train. Maybe after several generations foxes those foxes will be fully domesticated and easy to train just like dogs.

Marque Markofthebeast your right,... Sorry to say. But I feel like some animals need a little more help then others ???? I don't wish any harm to them but at the same time I don't want to see them starve to death either ? I really don't know if it is bad or good for them ?
Not scared, cautious. As you say, instincts. That's natural behaviour for a fox if you meet one in the wild. Which I have many times.
bless you for being kind to her
So Touchy. Life is for Wild Animals very harsh. They literally struggle to survive everyday and
they do die of starvation, plus the human perversity of hunting, ie killing them for pleasure.
Thanks for Helping out this Beautiful and Smart Mammal in a very basic of her needs:
Food and Water.
@Lexco So those that hunt foxes eat the foxes? I think not.
They suffer to this extent from developments and forestry that destroyed their habitats
YES. I AGREE WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!! I FEED EVERY WILD THING I FIND. ALWAYS. THE BIRDS, THE BEES, THE PRECIOUS LITTLE ONES.
Well said!! I feed a fox too and a badger

I was taught to hunt from the day I could hold a gun in my hand and pull the trigger.
Fox liked your song! Did you sing correctly?
+patrikez1 What did the fox say
Fabulous! !
But if kind people reach out to you accept their kindness with a hope they are enlightened to save your species and survive in peace.
probably a forest spirit disguised as fox.
I had the exact experience with a wild fox in Colorado, built a trusting relationship with it. I would whistle and she would come almost every time!
Tom Ashton your peaceful&understand Fox's interest in u
Eating french fries and all of a sudden a Fox came up to me asking for a fry, unreal experience.
I'm happy she found good humans!
Thank you for showing love to a shunned animal.
Nice to see kind people.
What an unbelievably beautiful fox!!! 🦊 G-d bless you guys, for helping her out and being so kind to our fellow animals. Just makes me cry tears of joy!
I imagine this same thing happening 5000 years ago, and that's how we ended up with terriers.
I live in Iran - tehran near the woods and in my neighborhood people pet the foxes as if they are house cats.
Omg well really? Don’t they attack humans? I heard they are really dangerous animals?ندا میری
Sandra Jefferson.. Foxes are not dangerous they are no different to Dogs....
Foxes are beautiful animals who are very timid and are just trying to survive just like any other animal on the planet.....
They are all Gods creatures...,
Patricia Court thanks you for the information, where I live there isn’t any foxes so I always thought they were dangerous animals
Sandra Jefferson... Your welcome, where I live in the UK they only come out at night so unless I look out the window at the time they are around I can see them....otherwise I can hear them at night....
Where do you live?
On Orcas island people per and feed the deer like horses
i had a pet fox. was abandond by its mother. at 7months animal control took it and put her down. slept with me rode in the truck with me. never ran off. i loved that fox. ill miss you roxy.
+BADD1ONE Put her down? Awful! Why? It had become your pet!
+no one i fed it cat food. they said it couldnt be aclumated to nature again.
you called animal control.
Yes, you need a permit to own a Fox and you must proof it's from a breeder via their USDA # ! I own a Red and the paperwork is a nightmare 😡
+BADD1ONE That's bunk, that fox's natural instinct would have kicked in real fast....effn animal control...sometimes they are wrong!
I like how she looks in the bowl to see if she got it all
and the takes a dump.
@Douglas Dog Collections whether you like it or not, that was the truth.
1:27 Fox: “Thanks a lot for the food, do you mind?”....takes a big dump after done eating, lol. Nice video all joking aside.
I found out how that a fox takes care of a young that is not its cub, it was one of the most touching and egoless examples I have had my entire life
Most animals do
Very misunderstood, beautiful animals. Like a little doggie!
Thank you for your kind heart, feeding this beautiful fox.
That's how dogs were domesticated.
Foxes are thieves
that was kind of the family, but i can't love that fox. it has a shifty look on its face, not like domestic cats and dogs.
@@rahsaantalley2012 hey dont be hating on the fellow that brought us fox and the hound and the terrible upcoming all remakes of classic disney that seems to be dead now 😭😭😭
It was wolves by camp fires due to mutual benefits, but I get what you're saying.
That's what I was thinking.
Sheesh you attached some stupid commenters with this comment.
1:37 casually takes a poop after lunch
+Wongsang Li XD Yeah
+Wongsang Li That is a Postprandial gastrocolic reflex
+Wongsang Li They feed her and how does she show her gratitude? She shits on their lawn.
+Shaquan Jamison That's the foxes way of saying the food was good. lol
lmao
She is very lovely!
On the other side if the creek was a pasture with horses.
Agree gary and I am from UK X fox hunting barbaric! How can we ban other cruel sports and cruelty full stop and continue to allow this! AHH yes of course it's cos they are wealthy like the awful people that pay to hunt beautiful animals abroad! 🙏💚 Animals deserve our care and respect xxxx
@@garypamatat1602 Wild animals hunt and get hunted that's nature
But I do agree you shouldn't hunt for sports/fun only for food
There's a difference between Trophy Hunting and Hunting
The elite obviously aren't doing it to put food on their tables
A beautiful fox. She was well cared for. How very sweet.
She's a beautiful fox & your a beautiful & caring human being for being so kind to her. Man's character is measured by the way he respects, treats & how he cares for animals! Thank you for being a real man! 💪🏼❤️🐺👍🏼✌🏼️
Yes.
Know right.i want a fox
And humans too...right?
Never had a fear of wildlife. Decent little clip. It's a joy to watch such compassion.
Thank you for posting and I'm glad he felt it was a privilege as well, to help this dear animal out!
Qué lindo debe ser tu lugar.
Awww
Thank you for feeding this beautiful 🦊! God bless everyone 😇
Una Roberts Amen!
Smh...feed the homeless...not a fox.
What a wonderful story !
I love seeing her lying happily in the garden !
How ABSOLUTELY delightful!
Meeting wildlife like this, or any living being for that matter, on it's own premises, is the ultimate blessing you can get. It warms your heart, and calms your mind.
1:25 eats the food and shits on your lawn leaving a good thank you

I guess that was the review for the food.
O my god I also think so 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@bobleeroy8434 lol that's funny
You're lucky to have that fox visit you.
The fox sitting by the window, tapping it with it's paw like: "FEED ME HOOMAN!" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
fox be like this chicken too good to be true
The Fox was Looking realy hungry and skinny ... If i would See a Animal like this Sitting Infront of my House hoping of Food .... I would Feed him instantly .... Nice how you Treat him and beatiful pictures !! Thx
i live in south london and always feed the foxes.. they are very smart
Millwall foxes, ain't they. They wouldn't last long if they didn't know how to use their loaf.
I live in the states, we feed Londoners to foxes. Were not very smart.
I love how the fox was so shy about getting the food then at 4:55 the fox was like, "Hmmmm, what else is in this magical, food dispensing bowl?"
@@JakkFrost1 The fox thought that bawl belonged to the human
aw she's beautiful, thank you for letting her in! and being so kind to her.
How beautiful. I wish I had that opportunity to feed and befriend a beautiful creature such as this
what an adorable creature ! thanx for feeding him and for pics!!
I would do the same, we NEED to coexcist and love them!!
Until they see you as dinner, or we see them as dinner. I wouldn't go hungry for a fox, neither would a fox go hungry for me.
@@Fletchlie do you really think that a fox could get you?
@@stoner84x Not me at my current age and fitness, but as an old fragile man then why not. I'm sure there's some instance where that would be possible. A starving fox vs an old weak person, fox wins I'd say.
I had one follow me across a local park on my way home from the pub one night. Just followed me keeping about 4 feet away. It was a grey old fox and when I got across to the street it stopped following me.
Look at the difference in her tail at the beginning of the video and how beautiful and bushy at the end. Someone making sure she gets a bit of good for her everyday gas greatly improved her health. A joy to have watched.
What a little darling she is. Thank you for caring for her as you do!
They have such a hard life. It's nice to help now and again. Bless!!
Wow, this is a beautiful moment. Its amazing to see a wild fox actually trusting a human. Im glad we have men like this man, he is kind and caring towards this fox. Theres many men that arnt so kind, they will kill it. I hate when anyone harms any animal. Its not right. Animals, wild or not, deserve to live in peace! Thank you for sharing this special video.
Christina Spasaro yes amen save all animals stop killing
Who in their right mind would fear such a lovely creature, I reckon people who fear foxes probably fear their own shadow too.
We have foxes in the garden and they get on fine with our cats, they just ignore each other! One of ours will let you get right up to it and the other day it ate out of my hand, what fox could resist a tasty bit of fish? It did nibble my finger but it knew I was not food and did not bite.
I know right? Who would fear such a beautiful and peaceful creature? I would love to see a fox outside my garden if i had one :)
The diseases it may carry.
More likely to come into contact with the diseases on public transport than any from visitors to your garden .
Chris Stephens that's nice, but still need to be careful. Household pets could get infected suddenly.
As I wrote earlier, our fox backs away from our cats so they don't come in contact.
We have had foxes for ever and cats for 20+ years and we have not had a problem.Doubtless someone has had a problem, but then there are some unlucky folks out there who get rained on even on a sunny day.
Thank you for helping her. You are so kind.
What a blessing to both you and the fox. Cheers!
Thank you for being kind to it. There is so much I could say. I believe they have every right to be here on earth as we have and at every given opportunity, we should treat animals with kindness. God has put them here with us and given them to us to take care of.
Revanth i mean. The chicken tendies i just had awhile ago were pretty *heckin* good.

I love all animals and absolutely adore to observe wild animals’ behavior free in their natural environment.
As an animal lover I fight animal cruelty and abuse therefore it is heartwarming to realize there are kind people like you who respect these wonderful creatures.
You are among the humans who make this planet a better world
Foxes are one of the few wild animals we still get to enjoy in New England. They're beautiful creatures.
Shes adorable! I love foxes, and its so nice of u guys for being nice to her,as some people would find her as a pest and chase her off.
I live in a town and I have a fox that comes to my house front door every night and I feed him or her . I watch from my window as he eats but one sound and he's off like a light.

Such a beautiful creature. Must have been an awesome feeling when a wild animal decided to trust you.
We have a fox in our neighborhood. He lives in the woods behind my house. He keeps his distance from people but I catch a glimpse of him ever now and then. Beautiful creatures.
She grabbed the chicken but double checked to make sure she got it all then she haul tails it away!😁 she may have been guarded and careful but she was gonna make sure she got it all on the first go!!😂😂😂So cute

Beautiful pictures, especially the one in the garden! Great voice!
I have a stray-feral cat living with me, & he does that head-bobbing up & down all the time, esp. if something's out of place. I call him Basil, 'cos he's long-hair & has a brush tail.
You sir get 1,000 karma points for your compassion. Thank you
Fear of foxes? Those things are just begging to become pet material, they saw what dogs get and want some of that as well.
God bless.
it's just how bad do you want the dream, and every thing that comes with it. she saw that no one was forcing her to do this, this is what she wanted.
GregLHo in Siberia they keep Foxes to study them. After the third generation in captivity they they start to develop floppy ears and less bushy tails and really look like small dogs, but they are still hard to train. Maybe after several generations foxes those foxes will be fully domesticated and easy to train just like dogs.
wait what?! so foxes can evolve into dogs?! oh my god.
ryuko matoi Or something more similar to dogs. I don't think they can mate with dogs so technically not dogs as we know them.
Just these caring and patient people for being so kind in helping the Fox
A few years back I was in the right place at the right time with my Nikon to get some great closeup shots of a young fox pup at the edge of a city park. It was totally curious of me and spent about 7-8 minutes in my vicinity about 10-15ft away. I had a 200mm lens on the camera and got some really nice detailed shots while it pranced around, laid down, paced back and forth...all curiosity. Still cherish those pics of the random encounter...foxes are amazing. Thank you for caring for yours in the neighbourhood - and great video, too.
Adore YOU, and adore your relationship with THIS BEAUTIFUL creature!! We are the lucky ones, that get to have those experiences!! She trusted YOU, she trusted YOUR vibration. Thank YOU for being one of the best!!

Absolutely beautiful creature ! Every night without fail, my wife makes sure we leave an egg and a satchel of food for our friendly fox. Had two on several occasions, just a pleasure to see how healthy they are now after several months feeding 🦊
Same here in Italy. A little midnight dinner every night, but always late and in the dark so no one will see her and she'll be safe 🦊🦊🦊🤗
What a fantastic experience for you, thankyou for sharing your experience....Better to give this animal a few weeks of love, than let a pack of dogs tear it apart in a few mins....just fantastic
