  • Replacing the reverse light switch in a Peugeot 206 from years 2002 to 2009. If your reverse light doesn’t work and you’ve changed the bulbs and checked all the connections and it still isn’t working, it’s possible that this switch may be faulty. The switch type is Bitron MA-100 225753 and costs about €20 euros, but there are other compatible switches that will fit this car. Thanks for watching. Please comment, like and subscribe !.

Thanks for the tip.!!.I would add that whenever I do such work on my 206 SW ,I use the chance of easy access to check & clean up a bit ,grease & de-grease some parts ,and a quick anti rust spray on those battery trays before re-installing..just did the transmission oil change on mine so took the battery off for oil refiller access..

Good portrayal of how to do it in SOHC engine. I have a DOHC engine and it is a bit different

Thaks for understandable tutorial, but it’s not necessary to open tray

You're welcome. It can probably be done without removing the tray but it is harder to demonstrate clearly.

For my Peugeot 206. The nut I need to remove is on the underside of the batter tray on the left hand side with a long rod sticking out of it (that requires a 7mm socket to place over it - that I already have. It's getting to the underside that's a pain)

Thanks for the tutorial! I have a problem with my 206: sometimes while I'm driving and I change gear (for example I engage 4th or 2nd) the rear light comes on for a few seconds. I noticed this because I set the radio to mute when it detects reverse gear. Could it be a faulty bulb or could it be another problem?
