Didn't had to replace the Bulbs thankfully but had to replace the Entire Unit which this video was extremely helpful. Now I know how to do that and disconnect the Battery. Thanks for the Good Video!
Great video, thank you so much! In my case the display crystals seem to have gone bad but I’ll try to change the bulbs first, if it doesn't work now I know how to change the unit! Thank you!
Nice little Video and thanks for sharing.Noticed that you didn't "hire" the Seagulls for background music this time!Must have been a calm day for this Vid! M
My display was dim and new bulbs didnt helped, now i got new display but will the new unit need codings? Cant get further for clock settings, can car washing hurt radio system, because after that problems started?
You're welcome. Is the car the battery old ?. That issue can be a symptom of the battery starting to fail and causing the voltage to drop too low when starting the engine, which can reset the clock display
hello, do you know if this fixes the issue when the display doesn't show a part of one number, its like #1:13 ( "#" is incomplete number ). Also, thank you for doing this video!
This is a bad idea, do not do this! The negative of a battery is connected to ground/chassis meaning if that positive you disconnected touches a metal part of the car you could damage some electronics
@@JayKayX71 If the disconnected positive battery lead is the only lead connected to the battery then it's not possible for anything bad to happen after it's disconnected. I usually disconnect both negative & positive when working on the car though.
I have a question : I only need to change the big piece with the warning button. Do I need to touch the battery or can I just connect and disconnect without touching the battery ?
Thanks man! I was going nuts , but now I'm just crazy after changing bulbs. Cheers!
You're welcome !

Can you build a bigger screen from the 206 + in a regular 206?
I don't know, sorry

That sounds more like a faulty display unit. I don't think this will fix it
No need to unscrew the minus on the battery, when the plus has an easy snap on
This is a bad idea, do not do this! The negative of a battery is connected to ground/chassis meaning if that positive you disconnected touches a metal part of the car you could damage some electronics
