Please thumbs up so other people can benefit from this as well!
Thank you so much....😃
I don't believe in religions. But if there is a Heaven, I'm sure they have a special place there, for people like you! 💖🙏

Daniel Beverly YOU HERO YOU’RE A HERO
The best Logic tutorials on the youtube by far
This mixing and mastering series has changed my life. My music finally sounds the way it deserves and I didn't have to go to a studio or pay anyone do do anything for me. Thank you so much MusicTechHelpGuy!
Mastering in Logic - The video everyone keeps asking for! It's a long one! Enjoy!
Thank you kindly great videos really helped me out a lot
Hey,
MusictTechGuy your vids have already been invaluable to me as I'm trying to master a track I worked on for months, for the first time.
Regarding DC Offset, I was wondering if the Remove DC function in the Adaptive Limiter plugin would bring you to the same end? the bonus of course would be that its a check of a box and its in the same area where the Limiting is being done.
Is that suggestion another way that we can Offset DC or is that different in some way?
+MusicTechHelpGuy how long would the whole process take you from start to finish without explaining?
I master differently when I do work for clients than I do in this video. I'm limiting myself to basically just Logic and Logic plug-ins for this. When I really master I use a bunch of hardware as well, so my time includes booking the studio, driving there, working there, and then doing some final tweaks from my home workstation with plug-ins. It's about a 4 hour process. To do it the way I do in the video, without explaining, about 20 minutes, plus listening time to reference everything and make sure the master sounds good on multiple systems. Really, that's what takes the longest is making slight revisions afterward.
+MusicTechHelpGuy thanks a lot man!
finally someone talking about mastering who actually knows about mastering
Was thinking the EXACT same thing! Finally a true pro explaining what they are doing. Huge props to this guy for helping countless mastering morons like myself!
This is the greatest video series ever.
+blackknightkanos Agreed
Also agree for my $, though there may be racier, more heartwarming, and spiritually enlightening ones out there for some.
+blackknightkanos 100%
So true!
man, you are a BEAST. I have no idea how you put together so many tutorials, and so detailed, at that....but THANK YOU
It's 2018 and I am now on my second album using logic.. I watched these tutorials first time round and they kick started me into logic and I have never looked back.. I always return to these video when I need a reminder or one of his great tips. Thank you MusicTechHelpGuy, totally pro best video series on Logic... IN THE WORLD!!
Can't thank you enough, no money to pay for a school, but I found your videos, thank you!!
I want to thank you for making these videos. I was an audio engineer in the early 90's , in the analog world. Gave it up for another career. My son put together a really good band and in no time they were ready to record the many original songs they wrote. I learned to use Logic Pro almost exclusively by watching your videos. Came along pretty quickly thanks to you. Thank you so much for making videos geared towards newbies to DAW ! Regards, Roy
6 years later this video is still valuable. You are still teaching people SO MUCH. Thanks for these videos!
Cant even begin to tell you how you have changed my mixing and mastering workflow, where before I was floundering in over processed, muddy mixes you have converted and inspired me to create some beautiful music. Easily the most informative and easy to follow tutorials out there. A huge thank you sir, may your high frequencies always ping!
5 1/2 years later and your videos are still teaching so many folks, like me. THANK YOU. Have watched all 82 in a row, taking notes and practicing on some projects, and can't wait to keep going. My wife hasn't understood the amount of time I've spent in the studio as a result, but I was in love with music first so, tough shit, lady! Cheers my friend, keep up the great work.
This is by far the most comprehensive series of informative videos about recording, mixing and mastering in Logic anywhere on the planet. Thank you so much for making and sharing.
I want to thank you for your Logic Pro X tutorials, because I do not have the money to pay someone to mix and master my music. Your and Young Guru's tutorials have taught me so much that I now can confidently mix and master on my own. If I ever win an award for my music, I will acknowledge you and Young Guru. Both of you are my production mentors.
Sincerely,
Maurice A. Whalen, Jr.

I just started doing my own music a while ago and finally got a laptop for video and audio projects (I used my iPad before). You, my friend, have helped me SO MUCH. I cannot thank you enough. I will most surely share your videos.
So so SO helpful!!!
Man, I’ve listen to this more than a few times. You are good at what you do brother. Thank you
Hi i'm Delta from Taiwan. I'm new to electronic music producing and mixing. I've go through all the tutorials from #1 to # 78 in the past of this half year. It's really helpful and all i wanna say is THANK YOU!
I am exhausted just realizing the work you have put in to this series !! LOL !! One of the greatest gifts anyone can possess is loving the work he/she does ! Sensational series ! Thank you !!
I can't tell you how much this series has improved my understanding of the different tools and the quality of my recordings. Cheers to you!
Oh man your videos kick so much ass on behalf of humanity and musicians and such thank you so much!
77 episodes!?!? im only on 6! damn! Thanks man Im SO lucky to have you help me out with learning this program. Thank you a million times over!
I really appreciate how in depth this was.
Great tutorial and series! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I can't imaging the time and dedication it takes to complete a series like this. Thanks again for all your efforts!!
Thanks for the support! I'll keep the videos coming.
Hello MusictechHelpGuy!!! Your whole Logic tutorial series is THE BEST!!!!! Thank YOU so very much!!!!!!!
I thought master 2 was more balanced and clearer... This has been amazingly instructive and enlightening. Thanks a million for your patience and talent in teaching !
been watching some of your videos over the past year and getting a better understanding of how everything works. I like how you break down the plugins to teach not only "HOW" but "WHY", and the underlying reason of why you use it when it pertains to your circumstance. Thank you.
"It's easy to make something loud; it's difficult to make something loud and have clarity."
Zen master stuff right there. Great video.
What a incredible series, thank you for all the attention to detail in every video, you can't buy the knowledge you shared. It has helped me immeasurably in my mixes, and comparing my old work to the re engineered and remastered mixes is literally like night and day. Thank you and congratulations on such a successful series...!
The best tutorial and well explained, thanks for sharing... I can’t believe this was 5 years ago.
This is the first time in 10 years of watching tutorials and cat videos that I felt compelled to leave a comment.
Simply put, Thank you Sir!
Thank you for this remarkable series. I never knew how much I didn't know, and I have learned so much more than I could possibly have expected. Your style of teaching is an inspiration and your generosity is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Thank you! GREAT Teaching particularly defining each tool. The more I listen and work on different tracks the more I will probably understand what I am looking for when adjusting. Some are obvious than others. I must practice practice practice!
I think the best part of this tutorial is that you explain exactly where you're looking, what you're looking for and why.
I've seen the occasional tutorial that may use a plug-in with a handful of icons, buttons and things going on but I'd never know what the producer is looking out for (at first glance) often leading me to go into a mix with a basic understanding of how to use something; after a lot of trial and error I might get somewhere haha. This tutorial was clear and very useful, thanks!
There is no words to thank you enough. I have watched a few other tutorials but you really taught me everything I know up to this point. It is greatly appreciated. Thank you sir!
Im a real beginner and have worked on a project and watched a lot of your videos though out the process. Its been a great way to learn Logic and I can't thank you enough for the awesome teacher you've been! ALL HAIL MUSIC TECH HELP GUY!!!!!
This set of tutorials is worth hundreds of dollars! Thanks for sharing these. You've saved us from a lot of time spent in trial and error and reading about mixing and mastering.
Thank you so much. I have quite a lot of experience in music production, mixing etc. but this video had some very very good new information and views about certain stuff such as DC-offset, mono compatibility etc. I'm very grateful that there are people such as you, who do these kinds of things for other people. You sir deserve a medal.
This whole series is helping me like you have no idea! Thanks... I just wanted to point out how great is that you never talk over the audio being played, unlike other video tutorials I've seen which could be annoying and frustrating. Thank you again!
This series is such a valuable asset. Can't say thank you enough for taking the immense amount of time it took to do this. Great voice and mannerism for producing vide training! We can all use these videos to either follow and use them closely, or to at least better our understanding as we experiment on our own. I find no matter how much I know, another opinion is such a great resource. Love it!
Thank You Very Much for doing this for us. You speak very well and cover quite a bit on this DAW. I'm new to Music again after 25 yrs ( away ) i came back and its a new world out there... you made it great for me to learn all that I needed. Thank You Again. George Amodei
This guy explained everything so clear, pay attention to the end, right around 48min -- last trick in the book, 4 bus with the Multipr, excellent technique, so much control and clarity, thanks!!!!
Up until #77, the videos have about 20k-70k views. The last one has 200k. A lot of people just wanted to skip everything and see how the final master sounds :D.
Amazing, amazing video series on mixing and mastering. Thank you.
I came for a few mixing tips a month ago, and ended up watching worth of 8-9 hours of these. 10/10.
Thank you so much for taking the time to help us all out here trying to make the best sounding music possible. Much appreciated.
Hi, I followed these videos in the past but just as a curious guy, because I was just recording voice over, however has appeard a chance to record some guys and mix and master their songs in my home studio, and I can tell you that those videos realy made the difference. I have watched all again and really really helped me a lot.
God bless you for your disposition to share all your knowledge.
Thanks.
Wow although i dread the process of mixing and mastering and rather pay someone to do my work for me I will give it a shot based on this tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to make each session !
Yay! I've been checking in everyday, desperately waiting for this. Can't wait to get back and watch this in full. I usually have one of my songs open in Logic (a different for-learning-only saved as version) while watching the video and try and perform your tips and suggestions as you say them.
You're the best. Cheers, good sir!
Love this guy. Just started a Music Production course at University and this guy has really helped out this newbie! Oh and the music you're using for examples is pretty decent man, i find myself bopping my head haha.
I've just discovered and watched all the mixing videos and I want to say thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I've learned so much more than any other tutorials have watched or books I've read, it 's very clear and detailed.
It's fitting your voice held up and only threatened to break at the series finish line, lol. This Logic X tutorial series has been both thoroughly exciting and comprehensive, but also an 'Epic-Sea Voyage-Around The World'. There's perhaps months, years even, of serious hands-on practical sessions necessary for me, as a digital studio novice, to bring to fruition all the theoretical aspects of Recording - Mixing - Mastering: I'M EXCITED & CHALLENGE READY! Mega thanks to Music Tech Help Guy!
Just to add to the ongoing compliments and gratitude for all your hard work making this series and giving your time to teach this stuff, all for free might i add, it's absolutely phenomenal. I watched this whole mixing and mastering series and it's already helped me get my head around and understand so much, including compression....Which still boggles me now and then! Haha. I don't even know you, but I can tell you're a top bloke. Thank you very much for your passion and willingness to share your invaluable knowledge and experience. More than appreciated. Cheers again, Will
Thank You Very much Sir... I Completed My First Single Today. You taught me a lot. Thank You
"The way I'm showing you to master today is what I like to call the quick and dirty method" lol
I recently began to experiment on Logic Pro X recording and mixing my own tunes and even tried to record my full band demo, drums to vocals. I always used a plug-n-play approach, like I was using an old Fostex 4 track tape recorder (because I'm that lazy), but thanks to your tutorial series I really learned a lot man! You ease people into very deep matters thanks to your calm and friendly way to expose and explain things. I sincerely thank you for this titanic effort, I'll try to put it into good use.
Cheers from Italy!
By far the most comprehensive and detailed video I've seen online! Thank You
Before I watched this video i was just tryin to find out what "dithering" was. Thankfully I just let this thing play. I went step by step (wondered off an tweaked) and somehow I got radio quality 😳 I swear to God I'm not lying. Past few weeks I honestly thought I would never get logic to work for me. You sir changed that. Thank you so much. I feel like I owe you thousands of dollars.
I bought a home recording studio two months ago, with no knowledge of how to record anything. I am just finishing my first recording! Thanks so much!
Thank you so much for all the knowledge and education you have given via your channel! Lots of love from India. This has been very helpful.
:)
years later still one of the best tutorials ever!
Well i've been watching these videos for like 3 straight days, safe to say this song has been stuck in my head
Wow. I actually feel like I know what I'm doing now. Splitting up the Multiprocessor and adjusting the width of each band is magic on top of all the other magic that built up to this last video. I bought the tracks for the mixing as well as the album and I don't feel I've paid nearly enough. I'll pass along this series and pay forward the generosity.
Really informative and helpful. I used some of these techniques for my project.
Man, what an awesome tutorial!....explained and paced to perfection, i've learn't to master one of my tracks just following you throughout and i'm stoked as with the result, great job MusicTechHelpGuy!!!!
After watching all the series, it's a relief to end up with the final song !! Thanks a lot for every thing you've done! You're the man!
Dude, your videos are absolute gold. Thanks so much for putting them up, it's helped me to no end in my home recording. Much appreciation from down under in New Zealand, keep 'em coming! :)
Great series learned a lot . Filled up two notebooks with notes. Thank you
Thanks so much for all the videos! You have helped me so much in logic and in turn all my music students. I always tell them to watch your videos because you are the best Logic Instructor on youtube. Again you are an amazing instructor and that comes from someone who has been a full time music teacher for around 20 years. love your music as well!
I just sat through this whole series without moving, it was so insightful! Thank you for taking time to make this
I love you man, you are fantastic! I felt kind of sad because of the main Logic series has come to an end, I watched all the videos, and finally I have a decent song! I just bought my MacBook Pro like 2 weeks ago, and when i got Logic i didn't know how to start, then I found your tutorials. Man, i'm so thankful. You're a legend. Thanks for everything! :)
This is probably the best video I've seen on UA-cam . As an inspiring artist & Amateur Engineer i greatly appreciate this type of information .
Thank you for your tutorial, I live in Korea and at my country, it is really hard to get professional knowledge like this. and there are no good teacher like you so much. sure there is a apple training center but that is very expensive, and I'm working so it's a problem to match the apple training center's time on my schedule. I can't understand 100% of your knowledge because of my poor English, but still this is really helpful. I'm watching this video every time and note on my iPad. watching this till I understand 100%. I don't know how to express my feelings, It's like having found an oasis in desert. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!! YOU ARE MY GOD!!!
I can't tell you how many times I've watched portions of this video. Thanks!
I may be late to the party but I watched the whole series and enjoyed the process! Right on and keep up the good work!
I watched the whole series like I was in a class in old days. I really appreciate what you did and can't imagine the hard work and time that you spent on these great tutorials in depth. So here is a big big thank you. Please keep on.
Cheers
Thank you so much for your incredible generosity with your knowledge and time in this huge tutorial series
Thanks for the support!
Please please please please answer me will it sound professional like other mainstream music like from the radio?
The before and After (35min 40sec) is incredible, great video.
Thanks for the clarification on the whole music mixing and mastering business no one online is as clear these videos should be called industry standard. may you be blessed with many children...😁😁
Joshua, you are my favorite person on the whole of the internet. If you sold signed posters with that profile picture of yours, I would DEFINITELY buy it. You are fucking amazing.
Just mastered an entire orchestral piece just from this video. Literally never knew anything before! Amazing channel. Cheers bud!
Hi, Just wanted to say big big TNX for this series of videos, I'm sure it wasn't easy to make 77 videos :) I've watched most of them, and though I am using logic for over 5 years you really helped me discover some new ways to do things...! Really learned a lot... thank you for this great kindness :)
This was such an amazing tutorial series. Its mind boggling what you have taught me about logic. Words cannot express how impressed i have been with them. keep on rockin Joshua
After watching this video and following step by step, it is safe to say that you did wonder's to my track. My track definitely got brought to another level. Thank you!
Great great tutorial. Concise, understandable and easy to follow without having to watch separate videos for each step. I’ll be referencing this video a lot, thank you!
This video made ALL my songs x1000 times better louder and clearer!!! I now mix for my friends and am even making alil money on the side doing it thank you owe you so much!!!
This is a sterling effort Josh. You did a great job. These videos would normally cost quite a bit from certain companies. Brilliant and well done tuition. The best I've seen. You might want to do a mixing and mastering short series on Logic that just uses samples - orchestral, synths etc ect. Well done again!
I feel like I've finally graduated something. Thanks MusicTechHelpGuy!
give em a big hand for his entirely work and specially his words at 48:30 . THANKS A LOT - Master of the Masters
This is a best mastering i saw. i have been working music about 30 years but never done mastering. That is why i have seen a lots of youtube mastering clips but i really love this, specially idea that is not here place for changing the character of the song just lifting upp more and give clearness. Thanks a lot. learn too much good stuff!! :--)
Thank you so much for all these great videos. It is making the learning curve process quite faster and funnier than read a drab manual. You made me LOVE Logic (and detest Pro tools even more)! You are such a good teacher. You should get a paycheck from Apple for that huge work here. Cheers from Montreal, Canada.
Dunno if I said that already, but your channel is basically a music school. And a damn good one as well.
Heyyo! Just wanted to let you know that because of you I have been able to mix and master two projects for my band Real Face and they sound really good because of all of your help. You, sir, are a legend.
can you please tell the motive of Multimeter?
10 seconds in and I already acknowledged the fact that this is going to be a good ass tut. Presh
I've got so many notes from this series, you really are the man for this. The song is also great, it's dope to see the the process of mixing and mastering a song in action. We didn't get to see the actual recording of you playing the instruments but I did see the other video of you playing the guitar and it was dope, I want to learn the instrument even more now lol. But anyways big thanks
I just started kicking off with some more serious "producing", mixing, composing etc.. in the daw world
and found this video very digestible.
Also Found your explanations to be comprehensively smooth.
Thank you for the tips and a few gates of knowledge...
Respect.
Bro, amazing tutorials..thank you so so much.. God bless you!
Today finish all 77 videos! Really thanks for all this amazing support, thanks a lot!
Many thanks MTHelpGuy. I am new to logic and this was VERY useful. :)
Hi buddy! Your channel is most useful I've ever seen on UA-cam about logic pro x
