I love a reactor that appreciates Chance's voice, I absolutely love this voice, and feel his contributions to many of Home Free's songs is often under appreciated and over looked. Thanks for giving Chance credit that is due.❤
I know that Home Free loves your, in particular, breakdown and analysis of their songs. I'd love to see you breakdown "When a Man Loves a Woman." Your brilliance coupled with their brilliance is one of the most fascinating things to watch.
Thanks for your analysis. I grew up listening to Crosby, Stills & Nash & had their album with this song Helplessly Hoping. Absolutely loved them & their harmonies. This song is full of alliterations. Home Free more than does justice to all the songs they cover. And this song is perfection to me with the 5 part harmonies. I can't say enough about how great these guys are & humble while still staying respectful to the original song.
Oh Jess! I (and i expect MANY others...) have been waiting for you to take on this cover of Crosby Stills Nash/Young "Helplessly Hoping" for a long time and you did NOT disappoint... what an eloquent reaction complete with all the deep analysis and context you always so, so professionally provide...amazing reaction... Education, art and rich emotion in one reaction. Wow~ this is one of my favorite reaction of yours and I'm delighted you picked the PERFECT song to highlight rich diversity of Home Frees cover's and how amazingly talented their arrangements are...no one to better explain that than you! No one, but no one doe the blend of emotion and intellectual insight you provide
Your reaction and "teaching" was excellent. Did you notice Tim holding his note at around 12:02, as the rest started building the harmony on it? Their cover of Brothers In Arms has some of the best, most complex harmonies I have ever heard. Would love to see your reaction to it. But if you can't, at least give it a listen. You will be amazed.
Home Free's arrangement is masterful, but keep in mind it's built on a solid gold foundation. Composerr Steven Stills was the first person to be inducted to the Hall of Fame *twice* in the same ceremony. And he''s on Rolling Stone's 100 Greatest Guitarists. He is indeed a genius. I enjoyed your analysis very much, thanks!
As always a wonderful "dissection" to point out what an untrained ear hears sounds amazing and unusual but does not understand why it is so. I would really love to hear your expertise on HF's absolutely unique arrangement of "Do you hear what I hear". The arrangement is by Adam Rupp and is probably the most unusual and even for an "untrained" ear extremely complex and difficult. I think you will have a field day with that one for sure.
Wow, that was the best reaction/analysis of this song I have ever heard. Thank you, I love learning what it is that makes a song so phenomenal. I think many of us who are untrained in music hear things and we know it's special but have no idea why. And Home Free is great at being subtle yet complicated in their arrangements. Thank you, again.
As usual m'Lady you gave us exceptional teaching moments today. Chance, by the way, is the genius behind this song & video. He brought to the guys, and he outined it, and directed it (the lighting & choice of B&W is inspired). Chance is a very talented artist, and very soft-spoken & unassuming, I really am glad you featured him....he deserves recognition. I'm selfish & love to hear you take apart their cover of One-Man Band...it has some interesting vocal harmonies in several different places !!! It's such a pretty song I believe you'll enjoy it too.
Crosby, Stills, and Nash wrote some of the most amazing songs and their voice blends in harmonies were amazing. Home Free did an amazing cover on this song, but make sure you check out the original.
3 together....a child. Steven Stills wrote it about a woman, Judy Collins (who already had a son) that he was dating and having problems with. Suite Judy blue eyes by Steven Stills was about her as well
I was thinking something a bit different both could actually be right because there is a lot of word play in this song but the "They are three together" sounds as if the writer is counting the character attributes. They are 1) One "person" 2) Two (too) alone they are 3) Three "together" (i.e. being together as a quality) IMHO . . . But I was like 10 years old when the song came out.
Poets can give us fits trying to divine a meaning. It is also true that drugs were used and abused in abundance by the musician class particularly. The songwriter's perspective may forever escape us as it may even have escaped its author.
This is the BEST review/analysis of this song I've heard. Thank you for taking the time to spotlight the complexity of the harmonies Sounds simple but it is NOT. The lyrics are a stand-alone poem.
Dang, girl! I LOVE listenin' to you break down the harmonies, dissonance, resolutions, alliteration, homophones and so on! I love listening to people in general who know what's up and can couple it with their passion. Watchin' you soak up all those kinds of things with obvious joy and appreciation makes me smile. Is it weird that it also makes me tear up a little too? Oh well, that's just me.
OK Time for you to analyze May Day. Full disclosure: These guys are friends of mine and I have known Chance since 2010 when he sang BASS with Street Corner Symphony. Also, my wife is a private voice teacher focused on classical, musical theater, and a cappella. As very close friends with Chance I am excited to hear you recognize him and his vocal skills. You have by far, the most thorough and informed reactions/analyses I have watched. Also, the Home Fry suggestions of Brothers in Arms are very worth consideration. Frankly, everything HF does is worth listening too and fun!
My ears cry happy tears when I listen to Home Free. They really bring out new textures to every piece they perform. Excellent analysis on your part. I appreciate that you did not overlook the poetic beauty of the lyrics. Thank you!
I could watch you dissect HomeFree ALL day long. It’s so awesome to see how appreciative you are of their talent. EVERYONE should appreciate their talent immensely!
Home Free has a tendency to make songs their “own”. Making the cover equal or in many cases better than the original. They have a unique way to Emote which is like ear candy in my opinion. love the way you hear a song thank you
Anyone with a pulse can do a reaction, I love how you turn it into a learning experience. As a Home Free fan I absolutely love this! Thank you for this educational and entertaining reaction!
Can't even begin to tell you how much I enjoyed that analysis. I have thought for some time that this is one of HF's best covers. Not having the ear or the training that you do, that's about as far as I got. Now I understand, at least in part, why this song is so special. Thank you.
Absolutely loved this impeccable cover and your amazing analysis. Chance's voice is beautiful and not always in the forefront. Loved the well placed dissonance ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely loved this song from the very first time I heard it. It is ear candy! As always, I also loved your analysis. Very cool to see it throw you ... and then have you figure out the subtle dissonances and subtleties of the song. Very fun, beautiful and thought -provoking. Thanks for what you do.
Girl, I am loving the music theory lessons. This is one of my fav groups. I love reading the music when I listen to new songs. What a gorgeous arrangement. Thank you for your review!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your reactions and this one did not disappoint. 😍 I thought it was "they are three = free together" . Thank you for your wonderful analysis and I recommend "Brothers in arms" if you want to focus on harmonies and arrangement, and "Mayday" if you're in the mood for (subtle) vocal variations.
I love how you broke this song down for all us who are not educated in music. You made me love this song, the arrangement, the lyrics and how Home free sang it. Thank you!❤
This exactly. I have heard many reactions to this performance but none both educated me while also giving me even greater appreciation for this rendition. New subscriber now here and thank you.
Best reaction to this masterpiece EVER !!! You covered ALL aspects of this arrangement .... So another half dozen times of watching it...I will have it down pat !!
Hey Jess. I'm a first time listener and am in love. Oh, my gosh, the first time I heard this song, I honestly got chills and before I new it, tears were rolling down my checks. I heard and experienced eveything you said about Home Free's arrangment of this beautiful song. I just didn't have the musical knowledge to know all the things that were going on, which you so expertly explained in your video. Thank you so much for teaching me just how and why all those beautiful harmonies came together. Home Free is, by far, my favorite musical group to listen to. I've been to two of their concerts and hope to go to many more.
These men can sing ANYTHING. They're technically flawless, wildly entertaining, and emotionally artfful. I eagerly await the release of "Home Free Sings The Phone Book." They don't do covers. They do upgrades.
Seems like I have been waiting a long time for this analysis; it was worth the wait. I am constantly amazed on how you can hear things I never even think of listening for, like when a singer takes a breath. There are so many other Home Free songs that I would love to hear you dissect, but I will limit my suggestions to "In the Blood" and "Brothers in Arms." There acapella take on a pipe organ is reason enough to give the second one a listen. On a lighter note, you could tackle "Country Fried Pop Medley." It's an "oldie", so it has Adam Rupp's brother Chris and no Chance.
They are simply the best IMO ... such uniquely talented individuals but together they perform harmony perfection ! Love them all but Chance has a special place in my heart !
I love learning how things are done, especially the stuff I have no ability to do. Your dissection and analysis helps me greatly appreciate music that much more. That is why I would love for you to dissect and analyze two songs Home Free did with The Oak Ridge Boys, which would be "Elvira" (when Chris Rupp was still with HF) and "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" (with Chance in the group). The Oaks are HF's musical predecessors and have 40+ years of touring and recording under their belts. In "Elvira" the two tenors and bass of each group kind of pair off with ultra tight harmonies in the chorus. "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" has even more intricate harmonies. But, Austin is the only solo. It was released as a Christmas song, but it is in the hymnals and I've heard sung in different seasons during services. Lots of interesting things to look at in both songs, not the least of which is the effect aging may have on a voice and how long experience may or may not have in overcoming it.
This is one of my favorites of theirs. It’s so good. Those harmonies are impeccable. If I have a complaint it’s that the song is too short! This was Chance’s baby. He directed it. Love the black and white. If you want to hear more of Chance try I Can’t Outrun You or Yours. Home Free is amazingly good. Good reaction SN.
I do so love your analysis! I will ( well not second, but third or forth) the suggestion of Brothers in Arm, by HomeFree, another complex harmony song that leaves me, at least, breathless!
This is the first reaction where you sang. I loved it! You have a truely beautiful voice. Your descrilptions of the beautiful song were spot on and added to Home Free's performance. Thank you !!!
I always learn so much from listening to you dissect the music. I hear the music, but you break it down to make me realize how MUCH Home Free ;puts in to their music. I LOVE this song, and thank you for your reaction,
don't forget that the woman the song is about, Judy Collins, had a son from a previous marriage. The 3 together is the family unit unit that Stills wanted. The 2 individuals become ONE "person". when they are seperate they are 2 alone. When the are together as a family because the boy is part of the relationship, they are 3. and then of course they are "for" each other. The rhyme (not homophone) of free never really made sense though I had heard many times through the years. BTW. it didn't work out and she left him. But, Stills wrote 2 good songs about it. Suite Judy Blue Eyes is the other.
The way they switch roles is so astounding sometimes. I love nerding out with you on some of Home Free's amazing arrangements. For me...it's where Mr. Rupp comes in. That very high bell falsetto....that's him. One thing about this song that amazes me is I believe (And no, I have not tested the theory with sheet music and a piano) this song illustrates the Arpeggio scales amazingly well. When Adam sings too..they complete the Arpeggio every time going a half step up or down wheree they create the resonance or dissonance. Adam Chance stayed at his Baritone upper range most of the song and Tim's Bass made Chance's voice ring like it was bouncing off of Tim's Bass. It's forever one of my favorite "Mr. Chance is in the building" songs. He doesn't do it that often. Home Free did a cover of Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA" They just released "Ain't Goin Down til the Sun Comes Up" (Garth brooks Cover) There is some cool stuff from Chance in that one...and all of them. (It's hard to describe). There's some live performances that are more Chance heavy. He does lead with Tim in "Ring of Fire" when they perform it live. He also does lead for their "Children Go Where I Send Thee" Kenny Rogers cover when they do it live.
Your reaction was without a doubt the most complete analysis and breakdown of this song by far over any other reactor I have seen. Although I am not a student of music, your technical description of the lyrical translations of their arrangement of this song was a teaching moment. Your reaction was as excellent as HF's synchronized performance.
i love how you explain what i'm hearing. i have learned so much from you. i may not ever have a need for it. However, knowledge is power and you are making me stronger.
Wow. You are brilliant and so knowledgeable. I really hope Home Free here's your analysis. Everything you explained made sense to me and what I was hearing but could not articulate. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm subscribing.
I have to say that I love watching your analysis and how you express your profound enjoyment when you hear something that you like. Great stuff...not to mention very interesting technical breakdown and insight from a professional's perspective. Thanks!
Brilliant analysis and wonderfully enthusiastic reaction! I love Home Free and I have always loved "Helplessly Hoping" and the combination is magic. I am not a singer or musician, but your in-depth insights bring new appreciation of the complexities and beauty of the music. Thank you!
Awesome analysis thank you. Gives me much more insight into the complexities of their songs. Love their harmonies and arrangements and I also love Chance's voice. That being said I also like all the other guys' voices as well. They just seem to know who to sing a particular solo. No egos here. And I think having Chance in the group has given them so many more possibilities in relation to both his & Tim's use of their amazing vocal ranges. His creativity complements theirs in arrangements, singing, harmonies and then the actual artistry of the performances & videos. (This one was all his idea)💕
Wonderful, educational, fantastic reaction. You do a terrific job. Would love to hear more of Home Free….agree “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Mary Did You Know,” “In the Blood,” thank you!
An actual musical analysis!! This is so rare on UA-cam with reaction vids to songs by musicians. As a classically trained musician your insight was such a treat.
Thank you for addressing so many aspects of the song that a novice like myself would never pickup. Very much appreaciated. Your efforts were well received by me and apparently others as well. Really enjoy Home Free.
I'm sure that Crosby, Stills, and Nash would love to hear that their songs can still melt a little chocolate here and there! 😎 And of *course* Home Free could do nothing at all but justice to the song. What a tribute! And what a brilliantly accurate, technical analysis by our most favorite UA-cam reviewer! Well done as always, young lady! ❤❤
I think this is the best reaction - well explained musical talent of these 5 guys (home free) Thanks for reacting(dissecting) to these song- I'm learning a lot of knowledge musically as I listen to your reaction to home free. God bless you
Stunning, as usual..... Thank you for your usual educational and heartwarming insights into these masterpieces.... I know alot of us would LOVE to see you dive into Dirty Loops and their song Breakdown. They have a monster catalog, but this slow ballad is a great start to hear this heavenly voice and musicians!!!!
Love this performance. Love your reaction. Really really love your breakdown of it all. It gave me a much better understanding and appreciation of the arrangement that made my ears find this so special. Thanks and please keep up the great work here. Hugs.
I love your analysis. It really helps to understand not just how beautiful the music sounds, but why it sounds so beautiful. The alliteration in this song is so stunning.
This one really highlights how to use sound AND silence to create amazing effects. Every time they stop singing it serves to highlight the moment they start singing again and the perfection of the next chord. Just incredible!
I have watched every reaction to this cover (along with several performances by CSN). I usually don't get hung up on the lyrics, but this song deserves it. You raised the question about "We are three alone." This song was written by Stephan Stills and his unrequited love for Judy Collins, She was the biggest name in folk-rock during the mid-60s. Stephan was a studio musician before Buffalo Springfield and CSN. Judy had a son, who Stephan adored. Thus, the three. Their relationship only lasted two years. I love it when you show and analyze the sheet music. 👍 Someone else pointed out Tim holding the last word in the phrase "saying she is lost" when everyone else has a clean cut after the word "lost" No reacter mentions the beautiful addition that Tim provides with the sustained phrase "on Hello" that continues behind Rob until the last line of the chorus when he brings the bass into "They are for each other."
Awesome analysis! I’m one of those people you were talking about who liked it without really knowing what made it so good. I actually didn’t watch it for quite a while because while I knew Crosby, Stills, and Nash and liked their songs that I had heard, I hadn’t heard this one. But so many people were telling other reactors they should check it out, that I looked up their original and it was sort of blah to me. When I heard their cover, I couldn’t get enough of it. In fact, the first time I heard it, I wasn’t watching the video, and didn’t even realize when Rob had joined Chance because their voices were so in unison.
I love your the way you explain what they're doing. You put it in terms that any novice, like myself can understand. And please don't take this the wrong way; I'm happily married and old enough to be your father, but, I want to say how beautiful you are. your eyes especially.
They are won person. Victory in marriage. They are too alone. Thus marriage and fidelity. They are three together, once their child is born. They are for each other. The definition of family.
I just found your channel yesterday and I am happily working my way through your uploads. When I watch a professional react to videos, THIS is what I want. Analysis, what choices have they made, what am I hearing, why are they doing what they're doing? I'm greatly enjoying your channel!
Hi, Jess. Welcome back to Home Free. There are a thousand other reactors out there. Some of them are singers or vocal coaches and can bring extra to their reactions besides "Oh, wasn't that pretty." You are the one I respect most. You react to the music. If it's good (and it is good 99% of the time), you show it viscerally, in your body, which is how music is to affect you. But it's not always enough to simply "react." You take the music apart, figure out why it affected you like that, and show why you reacted that way. You are teaching me to look at Home Free the way a musician would. You are adding depth and increasing my respect for this group. (Despite my screen name, I am the deerly musical one in my family.) There are other songs from Home Free I'd like to hear you discuss. Two of them have been mentioned below: Do You Hear What I Hear and Brothers in Arms. The former is not a Christmas song; it has some unusual changes, I think, from the basic version. As for the latter, I could swear I hear a cathedral-sized organ in at least one and probably two places, and I wish I knew why. Any Home Free song, however, would be a great present to the Home Fries. I have been subscribed since the first time I heard you react to Home Free. Thank you for your attention to that group.
What a fantastic reaction and analysis of this beautiful song, arrangement and performance. I love how you magically obtain the sheet music. As an amateur musician for most of my 77 years, it makes it so much clearer. I love your reactions, and although subscribed and supposed to be notified, it seems like have missed many of your reactions. Maybe I’m only notified to performers I listen to a lot?
I Respect the execution and the vocal expertise allowing the arranger to reach out and inspire the performers. We are the recipients of the collateral effects which you so eloquently and beautifully illuminate for us. Madam, you have put a spell on me, one in which I delight.
What a wonderful analysis and breakdown of this beautiful song. As much as I love(d) the original, Home Free simply does it better. Seemingly small revisions to the original really make a huge difference. Plus, this group's skill with the 'science' of voice results in a riveting "earful" experience. No sooner does your brain wrap itself around one gorgeous harmony, another comes at you. Then another. And another. With your expertise highlighting and helping to explain what the ears are experiencing, this was even better. This is the first I've heard Home Free do this song. It is right there with Auld Lang Syne as my favorites by them. I'm headed to the 'official version now to listen about 5 times in succession. Again.. outstanding reaction and analysis!!
All those points with words starting with the same letter is “alliteration.” It was intentional, and combined with the music, deliciously amazing! Thanks, ❤️loved❤️ your review!
I love a reactor that appreciates Chance's voice, I absolutely love this voice, and feel his contributions to many of Home Free's songs is often under appreciated and over looked. Thanks for giving Chance credit that is due.❤
Another impressive performance by Home Free is "Brothers in Arms". Very complex and the harmonies are impressive.
Absolutely Agree!! Beautiful!!
I would love to hear your analysis of "Brothers in Arms". What a great performance.
I know that Home Free loves your, in particular, breakdown and analysis of their songs. I'd love to see you breakdown "When a Man Loves a Woman." Your brilliance coupled with their brilliance is one of the most fascinating things to watch.

Besides the unbelievable harmonies, getting to hear Adam Rupp's sweet tenor actually singing is a real treat ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️
I'm always exited to hear him sing. Just wondering if he did bariton for this instead
Agree! So warmed by the sweetness of his tenor voice.
Agree 👍
Jess, your analysis is phenomenal, as always. For those of us without your ear or training, you are a God send.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Thomas!
The Home Free guys are masters of harmonies. Every note on point, so clean and clear. This is no longer acapella, this is voice painting.
That is a beautiful way to describe what we are hearing.
YES!! EXACTLY! The very word I've been trying to find to describe what they do to my soul.
Voice painting.... that is brilliant ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Home Free's arrangement is masterful, but keep in mind it's built on a solid gold foundation. I agree. I listen to it at least once a week and pick up something new all the time.
Yes!! I would love that too!
I would also like to cast my vote for this!
Yes!! This was such an experience. An arrangement by the vocal percussionist, it's just top notch.
Excellent breakdown. So instructional and so much good information. You're a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much.
Yes, "Do you hear what I hear" Brilliant!
Wow, that was the best reaction/analysis of this song I have ever heard. Thank you, I love learning what it is that makes a song so phenomenal. Chance directed this and had the vision for the song and video. This song is beautiful and I really enjoyed the analysis that you provided.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Crosby, Stills, and Nash wrote some of the most amazing songs and their voice blends in harmonies were amazing. Home Free did an amazing cover on this song, but make sure you check out the original.
I did shortly after making this video along with a couple other covers. Great arrangement!
3 together....a child. Steven Stills wrote it about a woman, Judy Collins (who already had a son) that he was dating and having problems with. Suite Judy blue eyes by Steven Stills was about her as well
I've never heard that explanation before, but it makes total sense! Thank you for the info! ❤
i alwayd thought its "free"
You are right because when they are together, they are free.

I don't know if you've listened to any of Austin Brown's solo work, but his cover of "Bring Him Home" is breathtaking.
Definitely a MUST see video! Austin nails it! ❤
This is the BEST review/analysis of this song I've heard. Thank you for taking the time to spotlight the complexity of the harmonies Sounds simple but it is NOT. The lyrics are a stand-alone poem.
Wow, what a compliment! Thank you, Ken!

I would love for you to react to one of Tims Solo songs. Specifically Will you Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay. We all need more doo-wop in our life!
This is the first reaction where you sang. I loved it! You have a truely beautiful voice. Your descrilptions of the beautiful song were spot on and added to Home Free's performance. Thank you !!!
Your lesson are gold! You and Fil's Wings of Pegasus channels are so good that I have no words adequate to compliment!
I always learn so much from listening to you dissect the music. I hear the music, but you break it down to make me realize how MUCH Home Free ;puts in to their music. I LOVE this song, and thank you for your reaction,
The three together means that the two individuals become a third entity as a couple. The lyrics are beautiful.
And in terms of homophones it is close to the word "FREE".
don't forget that the woman the song is about, Judy Collins, had a son from a previous marriage.
Absolutely fantastic discection of this! I love your analysis of songs, especially Home Free. Thanks for wonderful content, as always!
Thank you for watching, I appreciate your comment!
Your reaction was without a doubt the most complete analysis and breakdown of this song by far over any other reactor I have seen. Although I am not a student of music, your technical description of the lyrical translations of their arrangement of this song was a teaching moment. Your reaction was as excellent as HF's synchronized performance.
Thank you, Tom!
I have been WAITING for this since they released their cover. Oooo I do wanted to hear your impressions and analysis and you deliver! 😁😁😁😁😁
i love how you explain what i'm hearing. i have learned so much from you. i may not ever have a need for it. However, knowledge is power and you are making me stronger.
Wow. You are brilliant and so knowledgeable. I really hope Home Free here's your analysis. Everything you explained made sense to me and what I was hearing but could not articulate. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm subscribing.
I would like to hear you react to Home Free's version of When a Man Loves a Woman and Austin's Bring Him Home.
I have to say that I love watching your analysis and how you express your profound enjoyment when you hear something that you like. Great stuff...not to mention very interesting technical breakdown and insight from a professional's perspective. Thanks!
This is simply over the top stunning!!
Brilliant analysis and wonderfully enthusiastic reaction! I love Home Free and I have always loved "Helplessly Hoping" and the combination is magic. I am not a singer or musician, but your in-depth insights bring new appreciation of the complexities and beauty of the music. Thank you!
Love this group. Everything they do is fantastic.
Wow...thank you for all of that. You did such a beautiful job of explaining this. I loved it.
Glad you enjoyed it!
ALLITERATION. It is an interesting way to write lyrics. Luv luv luv your analysis.
"They are three together" . . . "They are free together". Gorgeous.
Best breakdown of this one on the Net. Nicely done.
Wonderful, educational, fantastic reaction. You do a terrific job. Would love to hear more of Home Free….agree “Do You Hear What I Hear,” “Mary Did You Know,” “In the Blood,” thank you!
Masterful reaction, thank you!
Thank you for watching! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for another great breakdown. And your voice is heavenly. So peaceful and clear
Wow! Great Analysis, wonderful education, tremendous understanding of the musicality behind the sound.
Your breakdown and interpretation is so inspiring!!! You kill me!
Chance sings the lead on "I Can't Outrun You" and did most of the video producing. It is a showstopper.
I think this is the best reaction - well explained musical talent of these 5 guys (home free)
Thanks for reacting(dissecting) to these song- I'm learning a lot of knowledge musically as I listen to your reaction to home free. God bless you
Brothers in Arms is another awesome one of all 5 part harmonies! Thank you for your great reaction!
I loved your detailed analysis and learned something.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Nancy! Thank you for commenting!
I've loved that song for many decades! And now I understand why, a bit more. The original is great, too.
Someone else pointed out Tim holding the last word in the phrase "saying she is lost" when everyone else has a clean cut after the word "lost" No reacter mentions the beautiful addition that Tim provides with the sustained phrase "on Hello" that continues behind Rob until the last line of the chorus when he brings the bass into "They are for each other."
This was my favorite of theirs until their recent cover of Dire Straits' Brothers In Arms, which is just stupendous.
Would really love to hear you analyze Tim Foust covering "come go with me" and "will you still love me/stay" I think you will enjoy both of these.
I love your the way you explain what they're doing. You put it in terms that any novice, like myself can understand. And please don't take this the wrong way; I'm happily married and old enough to be your father, but, I want to say how beautiful you are. your eyes especially.
Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction & in depth analysis. I love Home Free. Can’t wait to hear your next reaction of their performance!
(Despite my screen name, I am the deerly musical one in my family.)
There are other songs from Home Free I'd like to hear you discuss.
An amazing alliteration song, all manner of interesting, and enjoyable tricks in it.
Austin Brown's version of "Bring Him Home" and "Unchained Melody" are must sees. Absolutely stunning. Also love his 'Sunshine on my shoulders"
This song is beautiful, loved your reaction 😊 thank you
New subscriber here. I really enjoy your dissection of this selection. Thank you.
Awesome, thank you and welcome to my channel, Lois!
Gorgeous breakdown and incredible detail on the details in this masterpiece. You made me miss being in chorus again😁
Compelling analysis. Thoroughly enjoyed that stem to stern!
