In that respect, everything is vulnerable with being fucked with or tampered by hostile netrunners / Ai, the only thing stopping this is strong ICE like the Black wall. In that respect, hostile netrunners / AI act like Demons, possessing / destroying what they wish.

Keep in mind that the Blackwall itself is an AI and considering how long it's been holding off those rogue AIs that evolved God knows into what it might just be the most powerful AI out there, but at the same time there's always risk of it going rogue itself.

@@xTRTSCx Yeah. Netwatch together with ALT created a monster of AI. We saw what happened when forced by us Slider did mess with blackwall so that we could contact Songbird. The moment blackwall noticed him it massacred him. It serves it's purpose in the most brutal and scary way.
To put this into perspective: the viruses and rogue A.I’s are like a thousand Lovecraftian beasts locked up together in a cell. With them constantly whispering a million times over: bribes, threats, and pleading for the guard (The Blackwall), the one who was left abandoned with them to let them out. All the while those locked up are finding other methods to escape. The mere glimpse we have gotten in the game of their power is terrifying.
I wonder if the sequel will have something to do with the blackwall and the earth-shattering apocalypse that would result if the rogue AIs contained within the wall were to escape.
@@W_W-f8y while i agree, that they should keep the character driven story telling, it doesnt mean they can't do both. With slow setup and they may be able to contain both. Character driven story's and consequences, within an all out war against AI. Maybe as someone not directly involved, someone that gets thrown into a long history of fractions, just like the dlc. However its Difficult writing for sure, but if any Studio would pull it of, it's cdpr.
You can kind of see what would happen in the Phantom Liberty, where it happens on a much smaller scale. Essentially everyone who have any form of implants would get electrocuted to death, and those who are vanilla and would get finished by the military bots who would be overtaken by the rogue AI. And maybe not even bots, but any technology. Microwaves would be exploding, AVs, spaceships, orbital stations would be crashing into the ground, boats would crash into each other or into harbors. As far as I know, this already happened in the Cyberpunk universe, in Busan and I believe in Hong Kong too. Cities completely emptied and going there is a death sentence.
From what I've seen online, these noises and the noises you hear when you cross over right before seeing Alt, were added in in 2.0. Even the visual ambience beyond the wall changed, more erratic and violent shapes, less "cloudy". It seems they really wanted to expand on the idea of the world beyond the wall being a literal hell occupied by demons with the expansion, and injected some of that into the base game retroactively too. I love the lengths CD Projekt will go to properly illustrate their worlds.
You are hearing the cars because the devs put this scene right in the middle of an intersection not far from the chapel that leads Heywood :D My game one time glitched out, summoned this skybox and I could go in and out of it with my car :D
1 Super Skynet vs 200 regular skynets. The Blackwall is literally all that's in the way of all cybernetic humans immediately getting their souls sucked out by AIs.
In the next cyberpunk game, it would be awesome to create a specialized netrunner who uses the old net, and the rogue ais, so literally warlocks in modern setting...A next corpo war would be interesting as well, where some corporation/nation tears down the wall and using it like a nuke...

But wasn't she like one of the best net runners around though? I mean she was turned ai by one of her designs so unless Bartmoss made his own soul killer or something then we'd just have to assume him to be dead for good, after all the guy was cautious about his well being _(kinda),_ making a tool to immortalise himself as ai would defeat the point of wanting to stay alive because the ai you is merely just a copy, the real you just ends up dying in anyways.
