Really glad I came across this. Fantastic Uberschall tone. Very rare to come across on youtube. Love the Alter Bridge appreciation too man. Excellent playing, and great tone.
2:09 Find the Real - Alter Bridge. It's only fitting that he plays this song because the guitarist of Alter Bridge, Mark Tremonti, (also the guitarist for Creed) has one of these amps. Mark also has a Bogner Shiva amp. Great playing, man!
Really good sound, they have high quality PCB components inside, the sound is refined .
Thanks dude :D
Lol I ove the tyler headstock! thanks for the answer, and btw, last nigh I watched your videos like all night, yor are truly good man!
Thanks bud :)
@jksrocker Thank you very much for the kind words dude. I'm seeing Alter Bridge in November at Wembley Arena, can't wait!
Also 2:25 is Metalingus by Alter Bridge and 2:56 is Isolation by Alter Bridge. I think this guy likes Alter Bridge :D
Thanks i wait for the d moll .
i 'll test an ubershall tomorow .i love the shiva clean, so the drive of the twin jet with the shiva clean could be cool for me .
thanks for all
@speedburnervideo Cheers bro. I was using the MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay. Lush
It'll sound pretty fizzy at bedroom volumes as you won't be engaging the power stage that much to get that lovely tube warmth, but if you had an attenuator you could run the amp really hot at a lower volume.
@guitarjammer1 love the Dogman riff... nice! :)
@dusted04 If you keep the gain control on channel 1 set quite low, I think you can retain a good clean tone at higher volumes.
@ESPsandEmgs Haha cheers, it was actually 'Isolation' by Alter Bridge.
The Twin Jet can get pretty close, plenty of low end and mid range. The treble does sound a little grainy. The Shiva is a lot smoother, the 20th Anniversary has lots of gain as well. As for Diezel, they are bringing out their new amp named the D-MOLL which I will be demoing very soon. The VH4 will cover all the tones you are after.
@jksrocker Nice :) I have been playing for 7 years now.
Wow, King's X!
The d moll is out, i wait for your test
Tanks
Thanks a lot bud! To ensure I don't get any hate from trolls haha I think Tyler's and Suhr's are pretty level pegged. The only criticism I have is that I'm not keen on the Tyler headstock, I much prefer the Suhr headstock.
Josh, you are an awesome player and that store is like heaven man. A question how do you like the tyler guitar, do you think is on the same/ better level than a suhr modern?
Hello,
The overdrive tone I 'm looking for is neer the tremonti tone but with more High mid and a little more grainy (excuse my english ).
An ubershall with some orange RV inside lol, can the twin jet do this?shiva? Diezel?
@guitarjammer1 Thanks a lot for the comment dude :)
awesome video, been checking out bogners lately a lot and watched this as well as your videos using the Bogner Shiva 20th Anniversary. was wondering how you feel between the two? I demoed out the Shiva 20th Anniversary the other day and was taken back - it's incredible, but from the sounds of it so is the Uberschall Twin Jet. what's your take between the two?
How could you compare the drive between the d moll and the twin jet? I really like the twin jet drive but impossible to have à really clean sound at high volume .
I like 2 channels amps like this one or d moll, but i nerver compare them side bye side
Thanks for all
@testing123reviews Ill be seeing them tomorrow. Should be cool. One of my favorite bands. How long have you been playing?
@yurtoob Having tried them both I can say if I had the money right now, I would buy the Shiva because it suits my playing more. Gorgeous clean tones, crunchy rhythms and in your face lead sounds. The Uberschall is a wicked amp, but I would probably use it in a studio to get some HEAVY guitar sounds.
But the Shiva is the amp I always come back to because it sounds incredible :)
Just my opinion
Josh how does this compare to your tourmaster, or the Armageddon, do you prefer this to the Egnater sound?
can you get cleans like this when its cranked
@kuromachi99 Yep it really depends on the genre you play. :)
@kuromachi99 No worries dude :)
this thing crushes but to be honest, it´s a lot better played through a mesa 4x12 cab! :D
still can´t decide which mesa, bogner or diezel amp will fit my usa prs tremonti best. fav at the moment is a vh-4, any comments?
VH4 :P
Dude, how much are the Aldrich humbuckers? While I don't trust my self to get another Les Paul yet I'm thinking of upgrading the ol' Maverick.
@pR1sooeem Haha that's the best comment I've had in a long time! Cheers
dude can I use it in Bedroom levels?
Can hear acoustic string sound, so maybe this amp does not have to be crazy loud to sound great?
The Twin Jet is limited in it's versatility. It has fantastic drive tones, ranging from modded Marshall's all the way to Bogner's trademark high gain tones. But the clean tones let it down.
The D-MOLL obviously excels with rock and high gain tones, but it can also achieve beautiful clean tones, and if you push the gain control on channel 1 you get a very dynamic breaking point/crunch tone. The Mid-Cut section is my favourite feature on the D-MOLL. Enabling singing lead tones and crushing rhythms
@kuromachi99 Ok here it goes, XTC for ultimate versatility. Uberschall for balls to the wall rock and metal tones. Both are amazing amps, hard to say which is better.
Metallingus? Good choice my friend
1:43 to 2:02 - King's X
How do you like this compared to the Diezel VH4.
I've owned the Bogner Uberschall EL34 and the VH4S. I prefer the Uberschall over the VH4.
what's the song when you went into the second channel
it's at 2:10 killer riff
Bradley Stroup find the real - alter bridge
So...they finally figured out how to package and sell sex in a box...
Good show Bogner, good show. Amazing demo my friend!
@colinwebb12 Hey man hows things? I got the Aldrich p'ups off eBay for £115, they're about 99 quid each from Guitar Guitar website.
Excellent demo and great playing as well. You just sold a Twin Jet to me! Perhaps Reinhold will start cutting you in? :)
Thanks a lot bud! Glad to hear it, fire off an email to Bogner and let them know :D
Josh Wibaut I will do it! Rock on sir.
Most reviews of drive channels of amps are cliche. Your is tasty and musical.
fingers as long as those should be forbidden. you probably played that well after half a year ;(
