nice bike but you cant lock it up without taking the battery out and having to carry that aroundwith you? that would be a pain unless you can lock the battery inton the saddle poat somehow
Nice review, very informative. Is there a resistance from the motor if you just pedal with motor off? I've heard from other e-bike brand owners that they encounter resistance from the hub when pedaling when they run out of battery.

Best way to prevent this is buy a retractable cable lock. You can feed the cable through the top of the seat and tighten the cable lock around the frame
The seat is actually pretty good. When I first looked at it I thought I was going to have to change it for something more padded. I'm running still the standard seat to this day

its legal in Europe and most countries as long as it speed caps at around 25km/h, anything higher it will be illegal. Its the reason why most of these kind of ebikes have 250w motor hubs and need to fiddle have to unlock their limits to get their speed higher. You can run it full throttle electric powered only up to 25km/h and unlock speed at 30-31km/h

How do I know when the battery is fully charged? When I plug in, the brake lamp and power lamp is on. Are there any indication that the battery is full?
Mine stopped working after 10 minutes. Now I have a new motor to instal with no instructions and loads of wires to reattach ! Fingers crossed, if I ever figure it out it works! I would never buy another one!

Have you tried different power outlets around the house? I had an issue once where the S1 wouldn't charge. The green light was on the power block but the moment I attached the charge cable to the S1 the light would go off. All I did was plug the charger into a different socket and it work. It was weird
@@Premises187 I had the same problem which would only present itself with the charging or non charging of certain devices, not long after that our house got a total rewire and not had a problem since.
Without a locking solution for the battery, this bike is unfortunately not an option, too bad for an otherwise good locking bike, with a decent specification
The 40kmh was me pedalling hard. It is possible to make it go faster by going into the settings on the dashboard and making the bike think it has smaller wheels.
@@Premises187 I mean a proper fast ebike ;) I know it's license losing territory, but my dh ebike is 14kw and ~180Nm of torque. Honestly though, amazing things. Absolutely breathtaking. See a gap... in it, just like that. Been riding it for 5 years, never had an issue.

Also the port where the seat is connected to would also be exposed when they seat isn't inserted. Lol I wouldn't ride it in deep puddles. It was more to know whether I could park it outside in the rain without the seat.

the pedal assist wont work if u go beyond 25km/h, so ur 40km/h is only your own strength pedaling.

Just a quick update. I've owned this Fiido D11 for 1 year and 4 months now. I still use it regularly. Still running great.

The manufacturer states the weight to 18.5 kg with battery and not 12.9 kg. Maybe you specify the weight without the battery, that's quite irrelevant.
The Fiido L3 can do 120KM plus on a single charge.

The D11 is IPX54 rated so rain isn't a problem. Just don't submerge the thing in a creek
