We've found the Fiido D11 to be a pretty likeable folding e-bike for short journeys. It's not without its issues but it's a good package for the money.
Love the look of this, it's so futuristic. However...I recently joined (briefly) a Facebook Fiido owners group that were advising me to totally avoid the D11. I'm not put off by the negative comments as I have fallen for the design. Is the D11 available here in the UK?
I've got one, I ordered it and it arrived all fine. Good info and communication from Geekbuying and Fiido. However, the seatpost snapped! Geekbuying aent me a new one immediately. Then, the new seatpost, although it hasn't snapped like the last one, it slips when I have it at a certain height. So I have to use a folded bit of paper or card jammed into the stem to stop the seatpost from slipping. A design fault. Fiido are bringing out the Fiido X in June they're advertising, which appears to be an improved version of the D11. So I'd either wait for that or get the Neomouv Furtivo fixie ebike.
Biggest problem with this bike is that in city we need to take the battery with us, otherwise there are high chances that seat along with battery gets stolen as there is no lock for the seat post.
Pity the rider could hardly ride the bike due to her weight and state of dress! The bike looked tiny and very fragile. I can see why it is only good for small riders and short distances.I will not be buying this tiny bike!
How would you lock the bike up as I have it and can’t see a safe way to without it slipping off if someone was to take a wheel off

A bike needs to be really serviceable over form. How annoying will it be if you get a flat tire?
Could it legally ride in UK?🙏🏻
Sadly couldn’t watch the review because the damn music was driving me mad….

True, I’d be very surprised if she didn’t manage to make the seat post move, likely came close to burning the motor out too.
