In case anyone is wondering, the 3CD set you can buy from their website is great. Similar to this but longer and cleaner.
So I think a few hundred of those views must be mine now. I LOVE this so much. Can't wait for C64 Rocks!

One afternoon in the end-80s, I spent an afternoon at a friend's C64 and recorded all the Last Ninja 2 loader and level music on compact cassette...
Gosh, now it's life music! Awesome!

It's amazing how I was humming tunes for decades and not remembering where they came from until now. Love it.
There is this Doom II map called "Okuplok" which is using a midi version of the last ninja track.

Playing last ninja 1 and 2 for many many hours in the past, favourite here is the performance of The Sewers especially the middle part of this track, never get further this level in the past because the game always broke down after this level, seen the other levels only by looking playthrough on you tube...

Daglish was the composer for The Last Ninja 1.
What a great way-style to cover Matt L2 classics, these guys sounds AMAZING.
They even made my least favourite tracks from the game sound awesome. 🤩

52:48 My absolute favourite ever. Probably one of the coolest tracks ever to have graced the humble C64. What's even more incredible was the age of the composers (Gray and Galway in particular). They were literally kids when they wrote their masterpieces.

Incredible. In early 1992 I played Last Ninja 2,and instantly, I got chills when the loading music arrived. I remember it, in my room watching the screen,and one of my all time favourite tunes enters life. I have been listening to the soundtrack to Last Ninja 2 all the time, since youtube brought it all back to the front again years ago. I wish more than anything that I could learn the soundtrack and play it like this. This is unreal, the sort of dream gig I had in my mind to play to thousands! I love it. The work and dedication gone into this is fantastic.

You poor kid.. obviously you missed what we had in our youth. Words cant describe properly, but this is like a time machine back to those days that were never going to come back.. these guys managed to bring back at least the feeling. I was crying when i heared this for the first time. Thank you guys!
