Daniela Dundel I beg you pardon? Do we know each other? You know that I’ve been studying and playing music since... ever? How do you dare to judge someone on its personal side without knowing him?
@@micheleporcu2287 muahha, "ve been studying and playing music since... ever" - thats even more pathetic... i dont ve 2 know u , 2 realize that u know shit about melodic and "good!" music - u r tellin the world right here, that u r deaf ... sry, 2 destroy your "music life" - u dont understand shit
Finally got the vinyl and the CDs from this project. Worth the wait and worth the backing, Matt Gray is a genius. I would like to see more like this in any newer games on the market, back in the days was a pure marvel to see someone using every ounce of what the hardware could give out and have creativity and ingenuity to work around the limitations in that era. I am glad I ended up growing up with limited computing hardware and marvel at how impossible was made possible by people ahead of their times.
The commodore was my first gaming system when i was a child in south africa, we received last ninja 1 and 2 from my uncle as boot legged tape copies, listening to their songs floods me with so many memories and gives me absolute shivers down my spine i think the composer was well beyond his application. To see people rework his music so many decades later really warms my heart and makes my eyes glossy.
Thank you Matt. Your music has been through the many difficult things of life ... The Reformation is something wonderful to mourn. Like something infused with a dying man ...
Before I left on this trip, I dealt with the music. The first music I learned the piano, was the music of Last Ninja. The success there is actually launched and opened my eyes to art.
Absolutely mesmerising. I have downloaded your albums and I play this everyday. Keeps me happy . Your a genius and your keyboard work is flawless. If you are planning on more last ninja chronicles I will be in the queue to download and paurchase
Cant get any more ninja then the last ninja... so beautiful so amazing! Matt's original tunes was amazing and the remakes is just stunning! Matt Gray! FTW!
Brilliant, about 200 of the views on this are mine. Love it, massive fan of the game and this remake of the best tune (Mansion) is brilliant, Sewers awesome too
To think i was playing this back in 1988 on my trusty c64, enjoying this music on the irrepressible SID chip. Sounds great sympathetically reformated for the 21st century. Thanks Matt Gray.
Ahh, I listened to the original SIDs for like tens of years and was sad all the time when a half baked remake was released. But this, ahhh, this shows how fu*kin awesome Matt Gray really is. I just go and buy the whole shebang right now.
"The Office" - Wow! kept the C64 feel but the difference in instruments and the well balanced mix of volume between the background instruments and the fore-instruments is really good. The Last Ninja 2(TLN2) was pretty good when it came out and the one memory that always comes to mind when I think of the C64 is TLN2. As technology improves, games become more complex etc and I don't find the TLN2 fun at my age now but this music will most likely live on. There has been nothing like it in regards to original music composition the and it would never had happened if: The Last Ninja 2 and Matt Gray were not brought together. Life is like a Cern collider where people and events gets smashed together and we get these particles of existence like the TLN2 soundtrack.
currently playing this on the commodore emulator (ive just killed the crocodile) with these remakes playing in the background,,, you cant imagine how amazing it is...
The Reformation 3 kickstarter is currently underway. Ref 1&2 were both fantastic albums. If you have any interest in this style of music check it out !!
I have a question. I read some times ago that there was a Kickstarter campaign planned to bring Last Ninja 1 - 3 to pc. Never heard of it again. Can somebody give me news to that!
Hi mate, big fan and I always feel that I'm coming back to this video on UA-cam, could I possibly use this as background music in my streams with credit? Many thanks.
never played the game but i love the music and the remakes sound fantastic. I love the fact they don't really sound like the soundtrack to a Ninja game, could easily have been the soundtrack to anything.
one of the best soundtracks EVER!!! Loved this since i was 11!!!!
Just a little less than 30 years later, I'm still in awe for this songs... genius.
By the way, "The Office" with Galway's sweep "cameo" (a-la "Roland Rat Race") is soooo nice... ;) +Matt Gray
its ok to show 2 everyone that u got no music experience and will never understand/feel music itself
Daniela Dundel I beg you pardon? Do we know each other? You know that I’ve been studying and playing music since... ever? How do you dare to judge someone on its personal side without knowing him?
TOTALLY !

Fantastic!! 👍
What the fuck. I've been listening to the OG soundtrack for years and had no idea this even existed.

where can i buy the vinyl
@@TL.... I got the Vinyl as part of backing the project long time ago. Depending of the backing level certain materials were in play.
I wanted to make music after listening to last ninja 2. Thanks Matt. Your music still kicks ass!
