And there we are...a generation of mostly young boys who grew up with the C64 ...were 45 to 55 now.. and crying our eyes out over something so special...you had to be there... 8 year Olds at swap parties swapping floppies with 50 year Olds and it was normal.. this music... it is part of us forever. 8bit meets analog artists ..this is still the best thing ever.. love sent .!!!!

C'mon UA-cam what is wrong with you? I watch all kinds of C64 videos, music, demos and so on and you recommend this video 2 years after release?
i have to admit... in all honesty. i never gave these guys much of a chance as a chip tune purist but I have to say, ive really enjoyed this. I think i might have to go and see one of their gigs quite soon. :) Great job! that was a tearful part about Bens passing. She did a lovely job in his place .

@@chiptuneremastered not exactly sure what you mean, but to me this performance shows that music is first of all an idea, a feeling, a language, and it can be played on various instruments and the SID is an instrument on itself

I would like to thank you Fastloaders for a dream come true. Listening at this music when I played the games I've always realised their big potential and always wanted to hear it played as it is: wonderful music composed by excellent musicians and composers.
I tried myself to make a band to play this stuff but never got into it. I'm glad Fastloaders succeeded where I failed.

I broke down and cried when you started playing the last nina 1 loading music in memory of Ben Danglish. And then you followed up with the wilderness, just like on the tape of the game. LN2 Centennial park sealed the deal. You guys are good!!! :)

the music made the game......wouldnt have been anywhere as near as enjoyable without it.....i remember sitting and enjoying the load tunes as much as playing the game......made the c64 load times more than bearable they were actually an enjoyable part of the game.....RIP and thanks for the tunes

I bet that this live rock concert was a late bloomer; even though it's about the Commodore 64 video game music. It's something that has been, worked on in advance. What I never knew was that, the very first video game, was created in 1947. Why Chuck Berry was 21 years old at that time! ⏲️ ⏳️ 🕐 🕙 🕚 🕑 📹 🎥 📻 📸 🎮 🕹 🪨 🎸 🤘 🥌 👨🎤 🗿 👩🎤

Epic performance! I would have been there had I known about the event four years ago. Great tribute to the composers who produced the original 8-bit SID tracks. Some of them passed. I am sure they would have loved your performance which is kind of heavy metal, but oh so accurate to the original C=64 tracks. I stumbled on this UA-cam publication just this evening and my mind was blown away. Your performace should go down in history...

I never met him in person, but it's as if I knew him and I suffer his loss as if he were a childhood friend .. Ben Daglish is a myth to me thanks to some melodies for C64, incredible ..

perfect, love it. awesome song selection! very great tunes. And the guests are legendary...especially the Last Ninja 3 tunes! wow. The Keys arrangement are very tasteful and fat.The drums are great in mix, nice clear tight snare and bass drum. The additional rhythm guitars layers bringing a thick and perfect atmosphere. Sure one of my favorite Concerts ever on YT. Best Regards from Germany. Rock on and remember the good old times.
