- HEY long time no upload. what's good boys... errr so don't question why this is a Herp Corner episode after a Very Long Time of not doing it. spurt of inspiration? No idea. Anyways... system stuff has been Super chaotic lately, so I thought- hey, maybe if we do Herp Corner except let everyone do their own episodes, the variety will prevent burnout? Not to mention the whole This Is The Only Way We Feel Comfortable Unmasking thing. don't worry about it.

That's a cool chameleon and nice hat
surprised that rock aided digestion wasnt considered here as an explanation for the gravel (the rocks are called gastroliths), this is a technique that dinosaurs used and is still used by birds, herbivorous lizards and crocodiles.
Birds do this more beneficently with gizzards, but these guys line up with the more simple systems. The true reason is probably a combination of all the theories

I don't think it's that hard to find a reptile with such crazy predation drive. Cali kingsnake, they have to disarm rattlesnakes before eating them or risk taking a bite. When feeding them mice and rats they'll slowly creap up to them when in striking reach will throw their body over them bite their head throw there weight over them to stop them running. It's pretty awesome to watch
Also the way Cali's disarm rattlers is by sneaking up and biting their head to stop them opening their mouth, then they will wrap around them and fight until the rattler can't fight anymore. Cali kings are pound for pound the strongest snake

Hey I was interested in your video, however I think it would benefit your channel greatly if you drop the unnecessary pronouns. You need not change anything else but when its only 1 min in the video and I see the pronouns I immediately have a negative association due to the high about of unsavory individuals who do they same but in a less discreet way. It could be different if you were showing your face but since you are using a character anyways I think it may do more harm to your channel than good. I think your video was great! Please do take this comment seriously since it was not written out of hate but instead for a desire to see your channel do well.

I mean it's nice to know how to address someone regardless of how you perceive things. Also for others who identify the same way, it's nice to see another person/people so you know you aren't alone. It's harmless. If that's enough to put you off... that's more of a you problem. No offence.
@@MazTheMeh16 None taken, and while I understand that it might make a small number of people feel like they can relate to the creator my comment comes from a want to see this channel grow and get more views. If a video of this quality, custom drawing and animation, and thought but into it isn't getting a lot of views its usually for a reason that may not be obvious. I simply think that it could be a factor and to reach more people it is easier when you are able to relate to as many people as possible. Even in the most progressive countries the number of people identifying as another gender is only 2% maximum. I just see a good channel and think they may be handicapping themselves inadvertently, people get very upset over these small things and write off good creators
My good friend there are like 20 people in my system, most of which have different identities that are not intuitive. If someone referred to someone in my system who’s, let’s say, a girl as if they were male, that wouldn’t be offensive or anything- it would just feel like denying them their individuality. That is obviously not the intention of someone who’s addressing them (assuming in good faith here), but that’s just how it Feels. But also, what do you mean by “unsavory individuals”? Do you mean leftists? Transgender people? Liberals? There are a lot of demographics that display their pronouns in a public setting. Additionally, if displaying pronouns “handicaps” my channel’s growth by eschewing people who are “anti-pronouns”… which, not saying this is you necessarily, but as a demographic has HEAVY overlap with people who are rather… let’s say politically align with the more bigoted towards LGBT people… then I’m fine with getting rid of them if it means a safer space for LGBT people. Not to mention, if someone (not necessarily you, but those who espouse similar rhetoric) is intolerant to people who do something as simple as display pronouns that express their gender identity, then what are the chances that this person is tolerant to DID systems, trans people, gender non-conforming people, or someone who is all of the above? My friend I know you are attempting to sound neutral, rational, etc… but the very notion that Displaying Pronouns makes you so disgusted as to write a long-winded comment about it- in and of itself- is irrational.
