Given that a week has 168 hours, you've effectively played the game for ~10 days, or about ⅓ of a month. Assuming that you spend roughly ⅓ of a day sleeping and ⅓ of a day working/schooling, all your remaining free time in that month has gone towards this game. Must be pretty good!
Hey Potato don‘t neglect the Tea making buildings! With the amount of resolve generated by harpies and foxes just from it (giving them tea makes them super happy) it can be really useful for high resolve
Potato got me into this game, and it is an AMAZING game. But it is so funny watching him be super knowledgeable about Civ6, and then having him introduce you to a new game, only to come back to seeing him play it years later and just being absolutely confounded by some of his gameplay decisions (5 rep points year 5, literally never getting resolve at all....)
@CornBredCrusader i mean. It really feels like he prioritizes survival over everything else to a detriment. You need to survive yes, but picking a lane and thriving in that lane is almost as important, if not just as much.
19:45 if you delete the fishing hut that you repaired, you will NOT be able to rebuild it. you dont have the blueprints for the big fishing hut. any gathering building that you find and rebuild is always the big/good quality version.
28:18 "Every 25 times we do this" The recipe takes 100 seconds to complete. It's going to take forever to get 25 stacks - you literally may finish the map before you get even one buff, and you absolutely will not get two. And the bonus is a flat +1, which is a mere 10% when the base recipe gives 10 meat. That perk is garbage with the ranch. It's meant for harvesting nodes. It's _amazing_ with harvesting nodes. It's trash here.
So, first of all I bought the game thanks to your previous video! Amazing game! Thanks you! Second of all you tought me 4 new things: -I can destroy ressources -I can choose what I can grow and harvest -Watch if farms have enough time to grow and harvest -Stop consuming ingredients used for complex foods
Ever since I watched your older video, I've been addicted to this game. Thanks so much for showcasing it, and now to watch some playthroughs is a bonus. Always love your Civ stuf, but this game is remarkable.
With 12 stone to beak opens chess to get 25 amber . This amber can be use to make crystallised due . Then use it to make pipe or make tool to solve event/ chest . The thing to consider is the recipe( star ) to make it .
Glad to see you back at this game! I still go back to it regularly myself since falling in love with it thanks in part to you back when it was still early access. Absolutely love the new(ish) DLC frog people, gotta say.
24:00 - has a Provisioner built - puts two workers in the Makeshift Post to make packs Edit: okay he noticed, but still, he had just gone on about how much he liked the Provisioner
I don't think I'd have picked the Monastery there. It is cool, but especially early game setting up a production chain is usually my focus - or a better building material option, like a lumber mill, weaver etc. Harpies benefit a lot from the cloth/ coats chain. 3* recipes are often worth seeking out because they're so efficient, really accelerates your build. The pay-off for the monastery will be slow if you have to build it using the crude workstation recipes and limited impact if you can't make the service goods.
By year 4 storm your goal really needs to be giving the citizens some resolve boosts (especially complex food) to survive the higher hostility rather than trying to reduce the hostility even more. 2 hostility isn't a lot for year 4.
Ouch the meat specialization sucks with ranch build, it procs +1 each time, not each unit of meat made. Its amazing with trappers camps. or ludicrous with marshlands leviathan. plus you passed over complex food bonus perk
I had no idea you were the smuggler. I played this game years ago when you first made your video, but I haven't come back for the expansion. Do you think it's worth it?
At first i was like, "complains about not enough pop, but doesnt take economic migration." then, i realized you arent trading as much as you would need to really make it powerful, so i understand your viewpoint there. Also, placing monastery and tea doctor at same hearth isnt a good idea as each hearth requires a building at that level to hit level 3. Not saying the choices of getting them are bad, just saying placement wasnt good lol
God i love the games you play and ngl your not super annoying like some youtubers. But that intro makes me want to click off so hard bro. I get it is probably part of your brand now but it makes me feel like a child watching this.
It's a compact roguelike management challenge with tons of decisions and building difficulty as you play. It does get a bit samey-samey if you let it, but I feel like that's on me as a player in this case.
Buying youtube vidoes? Really? Is this what 2025 is going to be? Would you got walmart and buy a dvd box set of a guy playing civilization instead of seinfeld?
I admit that I love this game. Please Potato. This is still not enough. We still need more !
I bought the game after watching your last video and have played 233 hours in those few weeks.
...just one more glade...
It's very addicting
Exactly the same here! 150 hours and not loosing steam at all.

You got me hooked on the game from the first video those years ago. Its absolutely amazing and I hope you glad
you enjoy it!

I wouldn't want Potato running my town because then he'll relentlessly chop every tree in the vicinity
If Devs would add farmable potatoes to the game this man would lose his mind.
30 minutes in: I hate broccoli, delete this broccoli!
45 minutes in: Let's buy some broccoli, we're low on broccoli
Stone Cold isn't a Mayor, Kane is. Stone Cold is busy being a cat dad now.
but he WAS a mayor for a few terms. And went absolutely batshit afterwards
I’ve been racking my brain to figure out who you look like, and yes-it’s definitely Pedro Pascal. Younger, hotter, Pedro Pascal
Potato Pascal
Potato McPascal
@@darkemperor418 No, just Potato Pascal is fine.
@@criticalcommenter how do you know?
@@darkemperor418 you can't improve Potato Pascal, now some genius might be able to.
Yay,I was waiting for this. Hope you continue playing.
Ever since I watched your older video, I've been addicted to this game. Thanks so much for showcasing it, and now to watch some playthroughs is a bonus. Always love your Civ stuf, but this game is remarkable.
My head says Potato, but my heart says Stone Cold

Potato appears in a flash of lightning in front of the trade post. "I want your coat, your boots, and your tea."
Always wanting more of this game, god I love it so much and love watching you play it!
In the options, you can set a default behavior for your woodcutters so you don't always have to change their orders every time you start a new game.
AtS was on sale from Steam so I finally grabbed my copy. God, its so GOOD! Thank you for introducing it to your audience. 🙏
Nice video Potato!, now i have to watch it
Potato Pascal making a cameo is priceless
Its Kane thats a mayor, Stone Cold is still just Steve.
9:25 that was a bold move opening the glade right when storm season is about to start, I would have waited until after storm, but you do you

I migh buy this! this looks awesome, please keep playing! Would love a series to teach us the game.
The Queen's Hand Trial beckons you, young Potato.
Love this game but I have it on epic games and it just refuses to load. Sad times
11:20 the trader also moves aside barrels of whiskey!
36:38 @PotatoMcWhiskey, you are indeed thinking of a "selkie", a seal-lady sort of thing.
Wow watching you play this makes me realize how shallow I’ve gone into the game so far 😂
By year 4 storm your goal really needs to be giving the citizens some resolve boosts (especially complex food) to survive the higher hostility rather than trying to reduce the hostility even more. 2 hostility isn't a lot for year 4.
Yes! More AtS!
The lord giveth! 🙌
Ouch the meat specialization sucks with ranch build, it procs +1 each time, not each unit of meat made. Its amazing with trappers camps. or ludicrous with marshlands leviathan. plus you passed over complex food bonus perk
Its still amazing with Ranches imo, since every 25 ranch production cycles creates 10% more meat. If you have a hunting camp as well it goes hard
I had no idea you were the smuggler. I played this game years ago when you first made your video, but I haven't come back for the expansion. Do you think it's worth it?
Yes, more Against the Storm!
Against the Storm is the GOAT
I been addicted to this game from the last video you made can you make more 🎉
Do you even Civ 7 bro?
Would love it if you play a high level seal game!
New Sahilda doesn’t look as miserable lol
Yo potato you gotta make an ATS over explained video. I only found out from you that you could tell villagers not to consume...
Viceroy is the most fun difficulty...... Me casually booting Prestige 12. ( -)( -). Although you needmost of the tech tree unlocked for this.
28:11 phrasing

So if it is all about demanding, we demand that you play on prestige 20 ( i need to know how to win) hahaha
YES! More!
Noise :)
Love the game, sadly unity games hate my PC so I tend to crash after a couple of hours.
This game looks cool but I have no idea wtf is going on lol. Looks a little over my strategy game level.
Mooorrreeee!
God i love the games you play and ngl your not super annoying like some youtubers. But that intro makes me want to click off so hard bro. I get it is probably part of your brand now but it makes me feel like a child watching this.

ahh god bless him.. hes rambling about a made up person called "stonecold" in his old age :(
Definitely took the L in BE, hence why he hasn’t posted
The hawktuah brainrot got to him…
Just saying, I would NEVER vote for someone who uses the Hawk Tuah meme, even ironically.
i dont get this game
It's a compact roguelike management challenge with tons of decisions and building difficulty as you play. It does get a bit samey-samey if you let it, but I feel like that's on me as a player in this case.
It's definitely quite niche. Not my thing but fun to watch.
A entire video of weird takes , and some complementary gameplay on background?
Buying youtube vidoes? Really? Is this what 2025 is going to be? Would you got walmart and buy a dvd box set of a guy playing civilization instead of seinfeld?
I hated this game so much I actually deleted it from my Steam library.
What did you hate? It's pretty fun imo.
