I have found a theme song that fits my choices!
I love this song so much! Lol 41 and I have 3 dogs, 4 nephews and no kids of my own.
Pets are better than kids.
Hahaha, your music videos always makes my day, good sir. Keep up the good work man.
I was in line at the grocery store, we were smiling over the little boy in cart in front of me that was being truly adorable. When it was my turn, the cashier asked if I had kids. I smiled and said, "No, I'm too selfish to have kids." She looked like I had slapped her across the face. I added, "If you are going to be a parent, your children should be the absolute center of your life, and number one priority, for at least 20 years. I'm realistic, and honest with myself, enough to know that I want to spend my money and time on other things." I don't think it helped.
I would suggest not to tell strangers that you're not having kids out of selfishness (because selfishness is in the eye of the beholder, and most would argue it's more selfless than it is selfish), and that it's better to be concise and say you're not read or just wouldn't be parent material (and more of a fun uncle/aunt material).
Some people tend to ridiculously be harsh judges on people for choosing not to have kids, so it's better to role that judgement off your shoulders if they still clutch their pearls due to someone living a different life than they do.
@@Scarshadow666 interesting. I would have said that some people tend ridiculously too easy on people for choosing not to have kids, so it's better to roll that judgement onto their shoulders if they clutch their wallets due to parasiting the society that requires people to exist.
What's really sad is that in so doing you demonstrate you'd be a far better parent than most of the unfit garbage who pop kids out like they get paid to do it.
_Idiocracy_ is just a comedy movie, but it got that much right; people who shouldn't have kids are exactly the ones having them, and that is _not a good trend._
Honestly, I don't care what people think of my lack of desire for fatherhood. Society has reached a point where if it thinks judging your lack of being a parent is more important than them being good people. Be yourself as long as it literally doesn't harm anyone else. A couple thousand people not popping out kids clearly won't make the population drop in any dramatic effect.
What a fantastic song,Tom! By the looks of it everyone had a fantastic night!
Classic and so true!!!
Brilliant song
So good!
Thank you for the subtitles
This is such a brilliant song and I relate pets are better than kids ;)
The Childfree Anthem. I still dont understand why people always ask "When are you having kids?, etc" and telling them you dont want them -- they have a melt down and malfunction over it.
A mixture of biological and social factors that creates a taboo about voluntary childlessness
Because they have children and what everyone else to suffer the same misery they are suffering. Though I do have fun with some when asked that and saying never in response, let them kick of and then say due to some accident growing up I am infertile and then watch their reactions as they try like hell to back peddle out of the mess they are in. 😉 I reserve that for the meltdown morons.
Rest assured that the stupid questions become fewer and fewer as you age.
yes
The best way never to be offered a baby to hold ever again with no blow back, is to make it look like you nearly dropped it or are going to drop it so someone intervenes. You only need to do that once and that's it you are let off scott free forever and you'll hear it whispered, "s/he is just a tad too clumsy to hold a baby" and then knowing "ahhs" and that is it.
Mandatory algorithm comment 😊
Nix the pets, and I'm fully in agreement.
