A lot of ppl do that & in those industries... Let's not pretend like that's the culture there. But Tory had a problem of breaking laws, manipulating, threatening, & violating others & assuming control. He also revictimized & lied about everyone he assaulted. He could have gravely injured or killed her. There's no accountability for him... bc he's a black man... & there's no mercy for her bc she's a black woman. But God is real & he brought justice. As a black man ngl this trial has me moving different. Not gonna act as if i wasnt always side eying the redpill bullshit since its inception on the internet but I didnt realize how bad it has infected the real world. It feels like im back in highschool listening to the "cool kid" table convos only to now realize that these niggas are not only dumb but toxic devil worshippers. Its wild to me that anger was being directed towards meg when she was the smartest person in that situation. Meg knew better than to be hysterical in the moment and stayed on point. She truly tried her best not to escalate the situation but by the time this hit social media an immediate firestorm happened. This wasnt meg pressing charges it was the state recognizing that somebody in that car shot her. Somehow this turned into another goofy ass debate about sex and everybody ran with it. Blows my mind how ignorant people are and would rather scapegoat black women then listen to the truth

I’ve never been anywhere, with anyone and ever heard someone say they like a TL song. I don’t think I know anyone who can confidently name 2 of his songs. And the few fans he did have were women, men were not thinking about him until he shot that girl.
By no means am I a fan of his, I personally find his autotune usage irritating, but he surely did have have fans. A lot of people who claim to be fans of his now, I’ve heard or seen them mention him years ago. People have always talked about his chixtape/chickstape mixtape. Ironically although not surprising, there's uproar and genuine concern for him and his family meanwhile, just last week everyone was making a mockery of a black woman getting shot by her own people but now it's black lives matter because it's a black man. Smh even though he tried to evade the police and pulled out a lighter that looked like a gun which prompted police to shoot, all that is irrelevant. He is a victim who deserves justice but never for a black woman. Same thing happens when gang affiliated rappers suffer gun violence at the hands of their own.

No black man has come out to start any proactive action to prove tory's innocence apart from participating in online harassment of meg. I am really happy I just found your channel. Seeing the Megan coverage on the blog and commentary channels made me so depressed. I used to watch those channels for brainless fun and distraction… but this really exposed how dark and mindless these channels really are. I’ll never understand all the “Megan lying on him! Im not gonna say tory shot Megan until the JURY decides because Megan was f**kin on tory and being a bad homegirl!” … It had me wondering if brain cells left the chat or if there were just never any there to begin with. Literally a doctor found bullet fragments all in her feet. The defense literally agreed she got shot. Just say “I think it’s ok to shoot black women who are sexually active” and keep it pushing, because there was NOTHING confusing about what happened. What really gets me is channels like lovelyti who was definitely one of those people, but was like “if he did do it, I hope she gets justice” but then even after the case ended continued to say things like “Megan was being dishonest too and was convoluting the whole case!” and talking about “these girls sucking peen!” And missed her learning opportunity. Went over her head entirely so she got online all MAD and made a whole video doubling down on her ignorance. Really sad and disgusting. Thank you for doing what you do and for running your channel because I was really losing hope..

It was EXTREMELY hard to find vloggers that supported Meg, or at the very least, were unbiased. It tripped me out a couple of times when ti kept referring to her as “the horse” or “shooting at the horse’s foot” and even when her own subscribers pointed out her bias, she went on a diatribe about how she “had no dog in this fight” and claimed to be unbiased the entire time. Glad to know I wasn’t the only one.

Thank you for this post. I have been trying to explain this to my 17 year old twins that Torey is guilty. They couldn't get past her sexuality. I did my best to try and teach them but they are stuck. So I said what if this was me shot how would they feel? Then they got it. Also if Kelsey was so into Torey how is it she is married and has a new baby? Shame on DJ Akademiks and that Milagross person, they were both horrible with disinformation.
Did they not believe meg because of her gender or sexual history? Or did they refuse to definitively say that Tory is guilty of shooting Meg based of the conflicting stories?

I dont even think kelsey and tory were a thing like that. People want to go with this narrative to make meg the villain. Meg and tory had been hanging out for a good number of weeks before this happened.
In fact blogs had started posting speculations of them dating. Meg and tory even went to the roc nation brunch together and took those provocative pics together, were always online partying and flirting and kelsey was hanging out with them the entire time. Im sure kelsey knew about them unless she is particularly very slow.
It was meg who invited tory to Kylie's party. If kelsey and tory were an item, why did meg invite him not kelsey? Clearly kelsey wasn't bothered that she was even partying with tory while knowing his situation with meg...
After meg, the driver and kelsey left. It was meg who asked that they go back to get tory, again not kelsey. I dont know of a situation where a woman would gladly leave a party without the man she's talking to after seeing him flirting with the host of the party. Clearly it was meg who felt some type of way because her and tory were involved.
This whole meg went behind Kelley's back is blown out of proportion. I suspect meg introduced the 2, they hang for a bit but things didn't progress somehow later meg and tory clicked and kelsey wasn't fazed by their little thing.
I strongly believe meg and kelsey did not fight that night. The argument was between meg and tory because meg was salty about his behavior at Kylie then it escalated into everyone dissing each other. Remember tory doesn't have good self regulation and he was already in a foul mood since meg had ruined his chance of getting with kylie- in addition to being highly intoxicated with whatever drugs he indulges in. If he can beat a man to pulp for not shaking his hand, imagine what he'd do to a woman for dissing his career, money and clout? Very fragile ego.
Tory also wasn't the first guy they dated in common. Clearly this wasn't an issue for them. Meg and kelsey never fought that night. If kelsey shot meg, why is that after meg was shot, she left her front seat and moved to the back with kelsey? Why would anyone be comfortable with sitting next to someone who just shot them? Tory would been next to meg, comforting her while kelsey would have been as far away as possible, preferably in the front seat as tory did.
The narrative that kelsey was jealous over tory is farfetched and made up. Probably tory's ploy to create reasonable doubt, pay kelsey off and let him walk off but like the saying goes, a thief's days are always numbered.
Another thing, that gun did not accidentally go off. He intentionally fired to intimidate/reinforce his dominance/scare her but because he was drank, he didn't realize the magnitude of his actions until it was done. There were 4 people there that night, how could the gun go off and somehow magically only harm one person in both her feet? Or even accidentally go off 4 times for that matter? The one shot would be kelsey's (5 shots in total). Meg was shot in both feet. Meaning that the person who aimed at her fired at least more than once. By the witness account, one flash was seen coming from kelsey. So let's assume kelsey shot at meg once, did tory then grab the gun to shot at meg's 2nd foot before shooting elsewhere? Remember all this happened in a matter of a few seconds to minutes apart. Sounds illogical
I think after tory shot, kelsey tried to get the gun from him and that's how she got the gun residue on her. Tori was initially seated at the back next to kelsey and it is claimed he fired while seated/standing on the car. It was easy for kelsey to contract residue because of their proximity.
In that moment tory dragged and threatened to shoot her too when she probably tried to stop him as she said in her first statement. People saying kelsey shot first but how when the gun belonged to tory? Did she somehow in the middle of the "argument", run to grab tory's gun from the car? That doesn't make sense. Is she even a shooter like that? So farfetched

The eye witness woke up to gun shots. I believe what he saw was the scuffle that ensued after not at the beginning when the car stopped and meg walked out. Also please explain why tory was trying to pay meg and kelsey off? Especially why pay off kelsey and pay for her lawyer fees if she was the shooter? He must be a real generous man
I agree that Tory and Kelsey weren’t involved that seriously. It just sounds like something he would make up to make himself look good. No one is going to convince me that Kelsey was so upset over Tory Lanez that she shot her best friend over him. Nah.
This is what makes the most sense. Nobody thought Tory and Kelsey were ever involved until after the shooting but we all saw Tory and Meg together like this 🤞🏾

This was really good! And all those bloggers who willfully spread incorrect information and used nonmerital opinions are trash. Kelsey never said she was in a relationship with Torey, she also spread harmful rhetoric about a friend she witnessed get shot as she was waking away. Torey and his antics. Whew child I know he gave information to the blogs about that night and then pretended to be lost same as he did with August. This entire ordeal was so sad. I got into heated debates about this case with my family. My mom and aunt are DV survivors who said that they felt like she needed a new stage name and I said yall names are Gloria and Vivian (not their real names, but they have old timey names) and it never stopped yall from getting beat by your husbands.

The abolitionist section is very interesting as my perspective was very surface level. I want to read more literature surrounding this topic.
You literally took the feelings right out of my body and brought life to them. This whole entire spectacle was very hard to consume and take on in everyday life. The way African Americans handled themselves with this case, I am not going to lie like I wasn’t scared about what an innocent verdict may have meant for ALL African American women. It’s crazy and this should not have been as traumatic as it was. We knew she didn’t pop her damn self, 😢that is all that matters. Everything else was like a Thorne that kept sticking me in the same sore spot over and over until it got so deep it can’t even heal the same. 💔

The things she lied about had nothing to do with the basic facts of Meg being shot and who’s fault it was. Thank you for breaking down how business stuff might have made Kelsey and EJ behave the way they did in court. Tory Lanez couldn’t get onto the stand. I’m hoping the industry picks up on the vibes and doesn’t try to pull an icing out of Megan.

She lied twice. First lie was on the night of the incident in an attempt to protect Tory in hopes the incident would go away and not hit the news. The second time was in her interview with Gayle when she said she didn't have s*xual encounter with Tory.
Meanwhile Tory lied about literally EVERYTHING! Including having a love triangle w/Kelsey & Meg, discharging a record as an already convicted felon, etc. His first more reputable defense lawyer left the him. Hence he found this clown lawyer who knew this he had no chance but he got a check of Tory.

Listen to certain old blues songs and you can hear the violence toward black women by a lot of black male singers. I was a Tory Fan and a Megan Fan before all the Melee. Which is no longer because I am for Blk women first and a bigger Stan for blk women period. Kelsey's September interview was released a couple of days ago. Shout out to you for giving her some grace when everyone else was dogging her. I didn't have any sympathy or empathy for Kelsey until after listening to the interview. I think it got lost in the spectacle (that she contributed to) that she also was a victim and suffered trauma that night. In her interview her pain and suffering really comes through and I think it was valid. I do think the way Megan treated her in the aftermath was messed up and she was genuinely hurt by that. She stated that Megan had a team to support her and help her cope with the events of that night but she didn't and then she was also iced out by Megan and her team. She also spoke about giving up her apartment at the request of Megan to move in with her and then suddenly having to find a new place to live after the shooting while also dealing with the trauma. From what I understood, she moved in with Megan earlier that same week! She did say Megan offered to pay her rent for a year whenever she found a place but still, it has to be a lot to go thru what she did then have to deal with being kicked out by your best friend and having to find housing in the immediate aftermath. Another reason she was hurt is that she says Megan spread a lot of lies about her accepting hush money when she didn't causing her to have to deal with a lot of harassment on and off the internet (at least at that time she hadn't taken hush money according to her but judging by her court antics, who knows now)

The saddest part about all of this is the only thing that will be remembered and remain from this case is Megan is a bad friend who stole Kelsey’s man, she denied sleeping with Tory so she’s a liar, and she’s a drunk. Even though she didn’t steal anybody, I would deny sleeping with him too, and she hasn’t really been seen out drinking or driving the boat like she used to since this incident. Her reputation and image has been tarnished forever and I hate that for her. I hope she can somehow overcome this and all this slander.
