  • Use this technique to check your hip alignment. Then use the muscle energy technique to self correct if needed.

I just watched and tried so many things. But this exercise actually reset me. I was patient with my reps and honest with my form. The first three sets hurt and give you no hope still. But then bang ! After the forth set of ten seconds I can tell everything is balancing out. This can really torque you if you need. Just remember to be slow, smooth, and breathe deep. Thank you so much for this video. 👏👍

What if you are alone and cannot figure out which hip..this is important??? Thank you if you read this
And how can I pick a physical therapy that knows what I can do to re align my hips by myself.
I asked my regular doctor about it and he does not have a clue what I am talking about???

We have a video we can refer you to in order to check alignment. It helps to have a partner who can help you assess. This video is available on our manualpt.com website. Most physical therapists should be able to tell you whether your hips are out of alignment. If you are concerned with the skill level of a therapist, do your research and call ahead regarding your specific symptoms. Most clinicians will be happy to chat with you on the phone regarding your symptoms. We offer a FREE discovery session here at JGPT. This is a time you can chat with one of our therapists one on one via Telehealth, the phone, or in person at the clinic and we can discuss any symptoms you are having. Many general practitioners do not work in orthopedics, therefore they may not be aware of the many techniques available to address hip alignment. I hope this answers your question!
