Let me first say I am no carpenter of woodsman, that said I believe one would have to say it is looking pretty dog gone good sir! Will be back to see the finished project. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome stuff, this looks good. Maybe some railing would work or add a side block from first tread, like a vertical, maybe connect with metal railing that turns with the steps. Or use the corner wall as support. Too bad it wasn't closer into the corner for that reason
Dang, it took some homework to design that I bet, they look like a piece of art, just beautiful and they’re not even finished yet! It’s too bad Mr mouse picked the wrong place for his nest, cool to see though!
Those stairs look absolutely awesome but I'm concerned of the weight limit of them. They just don't seem strong enough. However I could be totally wrong.
What calculator did you use to plan this staircase out, and what’s you ceiling/loft height? It looks awesome! I always struggle with planning and laying out any staircases.
Great question!!! The calculator I used was blocklayer.com. They have a great rafter calculator as well. Ceiling height varies throughout with different pitches and wall heights.
I've built steel spiral stairs. It's a bit easier. I like the looks of your wooden set much better. I guess steaming a curved hand rail cap would be the hardest way to go ?
This is a first for me but I’m alway up for a challenge! I I’ve got a few ideas for the handrail. I’ll have to see what I can get work best for me. Thanks for watching and stay tune to see what I come up with.
Thank you! It’s kind of a work in progress, my hope is after I tie the outside treads together and add railing it will support itself. The notches that tread slides into seem to be giving quite a bit of support.
man that was amazing !!
Thanks, if you like part one, you’ll love seeing it finished!
I really LOVE the spiral stairs. Very rare to see an off- grid log cabin with this unique stairs.
LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!
Glad you like it!
Wow looking good and GREAT JOB!!! Totally amazing for sure. God Bless
Ty, hope you enjoy the rest of my building journeys.

Thanks you! Still a lot of work to go to finish them but I’m excited to see how they end up.

Thanks. They are just roughed in now so I’d agree. But keep an eye out to see how I strengthen them to make them sturdy.
nice job
Thanks for the visit

Avec le temps et le poids les marches risque pas de fléchir ? J'ai vue que vous avez pas mi de renfort.
Encore beaucoup de travail à faire dans les prochaines vidéos. Merci d'avoir regardé!!!
@@Fallentree124 ok 👍
👍 Nice, do you have to support the outher side of the treds, or not ? If not, it's Amazing that one peg holds that much weight.
