Keep up the great work my friend Love the idea od a Big tree house like that, maybe one day? I did build my daughter a smaller tree house over 3 years ago and I'm still very proud of it and I do remember how it made me feel good when I was going through the stages of built. I hope and wish you that that feeling will stay with you for ever after you complete your Built. All the Best
Thanks for the kind words. Very cool that you build a treehouse! Is it still there? I totally get what you are saying. Also building in a tree is something special.
It's amazing in a world nobody likes you I have not seen you this type of perfect work please upload next video early because i am extremely excited to watch your video because you are genius
Bonjour Je découvre votre travail, et vos vidéos sont superbes. Vous êtes très minutieux, c'est de l’excellent travail. Quelles sont les dimensions de votre plate-forme? Avez vous des plans ? Au plaisir de vous revoir Merci
Thank you for the comment! The platform measures 5 meters long and 4,6 meters wide. The schematics/plans are not really on paper, they are mainly in my head :)
It is also known as a plum line it’s been used for thousands of years in all types of constructions, including in the building of the pyramids. It’s is the number one way of making sure that what you are building is perfectly straight. I have one that’s been handed down for over 6 generations they liked things to look pretty as well as functioning.
Thank you for asking! I explain this in part 1. These bolts are especially designed to not harm the tree. The tree grows around it like it does when growing a branch. The design makes it also possible for the tree to expand outwards, so the tree keeps growing as it normally would.
Non mais s'il vous plaît, certe c'est une superbe construction, mais il sors d'où le bonhomme!? Avec ses outils, son masque, ses lunettes et son clip. Là tu fais une vidéo pour les passionnés de la nature, non!? What? Encore un gas qui sort de l'école de franc-maçon..oupsss "compagnons "😂😂
While I respect your carpentry skills I have a different opinion on the word "treehouse". To me a real treehouse sits on top of big branches and is totally supported by the tree. And, my idea of a treehouse doesn't follow traditional house building logic. Typical homes have lots of 90 degree angles and everything is on the same level. I like to look at the tree and let it tell me what the treehouse is allowed to look like based on branches and how high off the ground they are. The branches have to support the floors. The height of the ceilings have to be lowered in order to stay in harmony with the tree. Everything inside has to be shrunk down, kinda like in a camping trailer. For example when you go onto a house boat it doesn't follow any of the traditional rules of a normal home. Same thing with treehouses. They need to be looked at differently according to the environment you are building in. Great job on your elevated house. It's very professional looking.
@@darenburnett5894yes was thinking the same thing. Got to love the armchair builders and farmers. It’s a surprise that they never figure out why the tree houses built like that when children are no-longer around as adults😹😹 I remember watching a tree house builder from the States a few years back, and he built tree houses up in the trees using the bolts because it gave security over time whereas relying on the branches also meant the house would get bulled in every direction as the tree grew. He would build between a group of trees as well as only one tree, but in every single build he used the stainless steel brackets that would support the house. He never placed the weight of the building on one single branch, simply because you never knew when the tree would decide to cut off the sap flow to any given branch which the tree can and will do in times of drought. Where do you think the branches known as widow makers came from, the tree cut off the supply of sap to it so that the whole tree would live.
I was probably 7 or 8 in 1986. That year my dad decided to build my brother and I a sand box. We absolutely loved it. He used OSHA planks for the border, and naturally sand in the middle. Either 8x4, or 10x6.. again I was 7-8. Well, turns out the cats in the neighborhood loved it just as much. So the old man decided it was time to put a roof on the ole sandbox with a door. That would surely keep the cats out, and in theory it did. Until one of us decided to forget to close the door. So of course the cats now had an enclosed shit box. Upon further review, the old man decided we were going to hang this sandbox, turned litter box, turned greenhouse into a hanging tree fort. We used skateboards and leverage to move it into place. Then the 15 years of ironwork, and rigging experience the old man had, we set a"Deadman" in the ground, busted out the tier for/German Jack, found the biggest branch to hang the rigging, and proceeded to hoist this thing into the air. At this point we repurposed expanded metal the old man had "liberated" from a recent job and used it to make a floor. So now we had a hanging tree fort. With a breathable floor. Mind you this thing was big enough to house a small Japanese car of the time. We had a lot of fun nights in that tree house.. or is that not a tree house because it was a litterbox first?
This is a big project. Good job sir👍 love from 🇲🇨

What is name red thing at the time 13:10 ?
That's a chalk line, this is not its main use, but it is also fine to make vertical lines.

Where is the next video???
I am working on it! Thank you for asking
Older wood is often better too
Totally agree!
You don’t have to agree you can see it in the grain of the woods
But I am glad that you agree
Haha yes! It is almost like reading the grain of the wood. I like that older wood often is more dense than new wood that grew faster. Very cool!
@@BuildingInNature it is reading the woods
Why even bother at such low elevation,,,, just silly,,,should of WENT HIGHER UP
Ok!
Don't those fasteners stuck in the tree's trunk harm its health?

Seem you don’t want to tell us how you made your steps
He said he found that old staircase, so i presume he therefore did not make them himself...

Exactly. That's how I used to build; without cutting those branches. From primary, secondary even to the tertiary branches.
Everyone’s entitled to their opinion.. but you’d sound less like a dick if you kept it to yourself.
I’d love to see your series on how to build a tree house then, when can we expect to see it go live?
