    On todays video we get wlkntall up and running on its own power! We install a navitas ac 5kw 600a system, mcor, 72v roypow lithium battery, solenoid and wiring harness from a newer club car ds golf cart. This old club car project cart is starting to take shape!

    Interesting project to watch, you inspire me to try almost anything on a cart. I started fooling around with my old cart and now I work on everyone’s cart. Always getting people asking for help , it’s fun and keeps my brain moving. I’m 76 and golf gets boring . When I’m stuck on something I go back though your videos for the solutions. Keep it up.

      my neighbor called me last night and asked if he could pay me to look at his cart. Ive noticed I havent seen him riding it in a while. I walked over and we started to diagnose it. Turned out the green wire from the solenoid to the key switch shortened out. I replaced it, didn't take pay because my brain needed the exercise and I sat down last night and thought, I should've made a video on that. It was a quick fix that could've helped others but I was in the zone trying to get it running for him and the wife.

    Since I am vertically challenged, I would definitely need a stepladder to get on the cart! It’s going to be very unique, looking forward to seeing the end product.

    What wiring harness are you using? I am thinking about redoing all of the wiring for a Patriot Stealth, which is built on a Club Car DS system.

    I have an older cart as well that I’m fixing up. Actually older than yours. Mine is a 77. Went with Navitas motor and controller. Is Roy pow. Your recommended lithium battery. Looking to do 72volts as well.

    Wondering if you know if a Navitas Dc to AC conversion MOTOR can fit on older Club Car DS's (late 90's or early 2000's) without a lift?

    My only question is why did you use the 12v bat. for the accessories, ? The wild part of this video was now i understand the running system in detail form t he first time. Because of you open layout and easy to follow instructions 😊

    • @Fentertainment
      @Fentertainment  5 місяців тому +1

      I used the 12v lithium for accessories only. Now I can maximize the range of the 72v battery. A dc converter would pull from the main pack and I didn’t want that.

      @@Fentertainment on this on yeah. Our place in Surfside doesn’t have outlets out front so it is difficult to charge. Got it running before I took it apart. Did 16mph. Not horrid for down there.

    Ive got a 1999 club car ds and run a 6 inch lift. I was exploring battery options and want to get Allied Batteries 150 package because of its 10sec 500 amps discharge. I plan to pair it with Teekons Silver wolfs 800 amp setup and was wondering if mounting this battery in my cart would clear the motor. I dont have as big of wheels or custom supension as yours.

    How much speed did you get out of the cart changing it to 72v. More than you want probably...😄 You make great videos. I'm looking for something to take up some of my time also. Old, retire don't want to set in the recliner and waste away.

      72 and navitas, Ive had it around 40 but with the 35s its kinda sketchy and starts to wonder over the road so I've let off. Idk the top speed of this cart.

      @@Fentertainment I have a 1997 club car with a eco 48V battery, with a V-Glide (no resistor). Thinking about converting to AC navitas system. Should I use the PB8 box, or try and install an MCOR? Thanks so much for your fantastic videos!

      @@CharlesT637 MCOR is so easy to do. Plus it was made for the club car. Idk, others prefer pb8 mainly because they sell that certain kit. But this is easy - ua-cam.com/video/lDU2Ee9M3Is/v-deo.html&ab_channel=Fentertainment
