@@SoraTheProducerI enjoyed the gameplay but this was so disappointing for me just to know the pedigree of talent this studio had pretty much everyone there had worked on either titanfall halo destiny or warzone
I’d have to vote for Concord. Not a terrible game according to the handful of people who actually played it, but think of all the imaginative single player games that wasted cash could have funded, instead of an Overwatch clone that didn’t even live long enough to lose its player base to Marvel Rivals.
The frustrating thing about Skull and Bones is the developers KNEW what people wanted, literally a full template laid out in front of them in Black Flag, and they pumped out a World of Tanks with sailing ships.
Life is Strnage did us really dirty with the bad writing, i mean neither ending really got picked up and the constant way they try to get Max hocked up is weird..
Unknown 9 wasn't based on an existing established franchise, it was part of the start of a multi-media franchise. Written by the activist founder of Sweet Baby Inc. I talentless grifter. Who thought she was creating the next star wars scale franchise, based on nothing.
Life is Strange Double Exposure really broke my heart as LiS series is one of my favourite franchise and seeing how they published DE and the whole community looked like they were disappointed convinced me not to buy it unfortunately.
The controls killed it for me. And how the button mapping is somewhat different for each character. I played it for about 10 mins. I feel ripped off and I got it for $8
Falcon prevented that because I remember in a video he said the graphics were extremely good on his PC. I think it was in a "best graphics ever" type of video made this year.
"gets attacked on the internet" and "sucks to play" are two very different things. You see, people tend to not mention the good things they encounter, but feel the need to vent the negative things frequently and openly. Comment sections and Twitter threads are a haven for those people.
I think Suicide Squad should have been #1 because its financially ruinous for many companies and fulfills the "does this game offend everyone who plays it" qualification. Since nobody was really affected by The NFT Game that badly it wasn't #1 for me.
As much i agree with this list, i have to say skull and bones really has the potential to be better than what it is now. Like, sea of thieves also sucked when it launched, but it got better overtime because it had the potential to be. Great video as always 👍.
Graven was truly a disappointment. I got hyped when it was announced. I had played the game when it was released as early access on Steam, and it was rough. I had hoped that the game gets improved over time. I finished it after 1.0 came out. The game was still really boring and buggy, and it felt like almost nothing got better since the early access.

You know it’s been a rough year in gaming, when the game awards were 90% forgotten or unknown games. I felt like an old man shaking his fist 😂 “what’s an Astro Bot?!”
I don’t agree with some of this take. The lows of this year are indeed some of the worst we have ever seen, however the highs are pretty great and people just refuse to acknowledge some of them because a lot of it wasn’t AAA.
for me it was LEGO Horizon Adventures. visually by far the most impressive and advanced title of the series, but at the expense of being completely soulless, bland, repetitive and overpriced. it had nothing of what made the previous lego games so enjoyable and successful, and on top of that it forced you to login via PSN to even see the title screen. absolute shame.
Yep, my friend and I are two schmucks who bought South Park Snow Day thinking itd be good like the last two. It was ...not. Full price, and we played it twice and still havent went back. We were literally laughing how bad it was

As an Xbox player since day one, I do not care for the new Indiana Jones game, but I'm loving on my PlayStation, the Rise of the Ronin which scenes that flew under the radar with lots of hate.
So much hate for Veilguard in the comments. Maybe it’s not great in terms of dragon age lore but taken on its own it’s a really fun game. Lots to do, interesting and varied areas, not bad story and the companions are interesting with a good variety of abilities. I’m really enjoying it.
The dialogue and general writing is slop, you're just having a hot take moment. Enjoy it if you want, but it still ain't a good game just because you're easily entertained.
@@SilverBrumby165 wrong. You’re being contrarian on purpose. The lore directly contradicts the old games. The writing is AWFUL. The companions are awful. The “gameplay” is meh
Has anyone heard of the game Moonbreaker? It had its 1.0 release this year and was such a letdown. I thought much better of Unknown Worlds; the idea of paintable miniatures was so cool and innovative. But man, there wasn’t nearly enough content, and each update somehow made it worse :(

@@JacobLukasiewicz my main issue with the first game was more the way max's powers didn't really work gameplay wise and not really the writing choices of the last two episodes, because when she rewinds time she wouldn't always keep the items she picked up and would also forget things that she learnt from talking to people, then there's the whole thing about her not being able to use her powers if she uses it too much which only comes up once for plot reasons, i think that should've been made into a part of the game play like each episode you get a set number of rewinds but any unused rewinds carry over to the later episodes but using up all the rewinds means you wont have any more til the next episode, that's how i would've done it anyways just also make it so max remembers what she learns and doesn't lose items when rewinding though i think the item thing was just a bug since it only happen once at the start ofthe game
