As a huge fan of World of Warcraft, I have to begrudgingly accept that yes, it was definitely on a steep decline prior to Legion. There was a lot of pressure but looking back it is absolutely up there with Wrath as one of the all-time great expansions. Solid inclusion!
Borderlands was far from a dumpster fire when it came out, but the most fun I had with the original game was its first major DLC, The Zombie Island of Dr Ned and the second DLC introduced who would become my favorite character in the franchise, Mr Torgue.
Mr Torque was from Borderlands 2. The second DLC for the first game was Moxxi's Underdome which was godawful. Secret Armory of General Knoxx massively improved BL1 though and would have fit on this list easily.
you failed to Mention that WOW's drop in numbers due to a lack of content was caused by fans whining about wanting an easier system for heirlooms and transmogs something that they told would eliminate an entire patch worth of content thus we lost a raid tier.
@DETRACT0RD00M I don't understand ur argument? I'm saying 3 was better than 4, definitely not considering 4 as good, I didn't even finish it cuz I got bored lol
Minerva's den should definitely top a top 10 overrated dlcs. I mean it's far from crap but it's also not close to the masterpiece it's made out to be. It's just more bioshock 2
Expansions are not a DLC. Nor is the "Progress Update" that everyone got for Battlefront 2. Also Phantom Liberty isn't what saved (though I still think it's trash) Cyberpunk in the eyes of most people it was Edgerunners getting people amped up for the game again.
They actually mentioned the truth: the 2.0 update to Cyberpunk. The DLC only really offered the new campaign, new area, and the relic skill tree. All the other changes iirc were the 2.0 update which was fully free to the base game owners. Also, there was a bump in players with Edgerunners, but 2.0/PL got a LARGE bump in active players.

I wouldn't call a MMO expansion a "DLC" personally, but what you said is 100% true about it.
Great list. Happy Christmas everyone. Enjoy the holiday!
I would like to see a list of Mods that saved games as well.

As I said in last week's episode, the DLCs for Final Fantasy XV. Playing the Royal Edition is much better than playing the vanilla FF XV
I only played Watch Dogs Legion for Bloodlines.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a masterpiece
Yeah and it only took them 2 years working on it around the clock after release 😂😂 have some self respect mate.
Diablo 3 > 4 so they did something right
Or they did something so trash that even the bad is now considered good..

Diablo 2 > 3
@RedDev1l757 thank you.. that was my point
@@DETRACT0RD00M then say that? Lmao 🤣
no Far Habour?

you know what else would have saved Destiny?? porting it to PC -- like they did for Destiny 2

Expansions are not content you can download? This is news to me.
We get it, you disagree with everything.

World of Warcraft was never dying. Fail.
The comment directly underneath yours in my feed begs to differ 😂
