I like to think that James is doomed to repeat himself in Silent Hill forever, and that every alternate ending is both real and not real at the same time. Once he "beats" the game, he starts over with no memories and has to play again, and again, and again, and so far he's been playing Silent Hills game for over 20 years.
It was probably found by someone using rainbow stones which are extremely cheap in Elden Ring. You throw them on the ground to either leave a trail or throwing them off a cliff to see if you can survive the fall. You can also use them to uncover invisible bridges too!
If Elden Ring was someones first souls game then yeah, it's a bit too hidden. For me, after playing most of souls games it was one of the most obvious secrets, I did bother to shoot an arrow to check if there's any ground but I would have been shocked if arrow didn't hit anything.
They’re called Easter eggs cause it’s not a linear mission, unless you’re in directed mode there is no objective marker to tell you where to go and what to do, to your average player of cod or somebody that doesn’t play zombies often may never experience the “mission” because of that reason. They’re considered Easter eggs because one person or persons took their time to figure out what activates certain objectives. Without UA-cam or guides I wonder how many people would even know about the “missions” so yes they are Easter eggs
Given that there is only one Medusa, yes, you should not be able to find both a withered Medusa head and a preserved Medusa head. But it's not like there were a lot of Gorgons, either. Only three- 1. Medusa, 2. Euryale, 3. Stheno.
@@mcmullen288 Nah, there are only 3 Gorgons, and they could all turn people to stone. The other two didn't do much, they just chased Perseus after he beheaded their sister, Medusa. Apparently, she was the only mortal Gorgon, so, theoretically, they are still running around looking for him.
Arkham Asylum could definitely get another remaster in Unreal 5. I bet the characters and the environments would look amazing....especially in the Scarecrow sections. Arkham Asylum is my all-time favorite game.

In "Another Crab's Treasure" there are stupidly long receipts from "CDN Pharmacy", I'm sure named as such to avoid copyright laws. What a huge miss, as they could have called them "SeaVS Pharmacy".
Something that I never see mentioned about games with unique, esoteric puzzles... If you spent any of your adolescence or college years playing AberMUDs, the Easter eggs - or "special cases" as we called them in the 90s - are a lot easier to find and/or expect.
Love your content, but the Infinite Wealth "easter egg"... If you go around to public toilets Ethereal Egesta respawns daily with a 100% spawn rate. So you potentially get about 20 per day (10 minutes of running around). Do this 5 times and you have yourself a max level weapon for Ichiban.
I feel like James’ canon ending is him driving the car into the lake, and drowning alongside his wife’s already dead body. So if that’s that case then Silent Hill is basically his version of hell or limbo, and he’s doomed to live through his experiences there for all of eternity. Same for Angela who killed her brother and father, and then herself. That’s why the “staircase to heaven” is on fire, and Eddie died in the freezer. That’s why every time he speaks in cutscenes you can see his breath is cold by the steam that comes out of his mouth. All of them trapped there forever for their sins.
Idk about those elden ring secrets, in my eyes they made it way easier to find or deduct than for ex dark souls 2 with random npc appearing at some random spot after exhausting her dialogue and unclocking a huge portion of the game. That npc in DS2 was absolutely arbitrary, those places in Shadow of the Erdtree are "right there" you see them on the map, you wanna get there from the first hours of playing dlc, if you have any need for exploration. Items you have to use are more of a long shot but you can still kinda figure out the connection even if you don't read too much into the lore and dialogues. Once I found the Iris, I knew where I could try it out I only had to check if I didn't lock myself out of something to not waste time (and yes, I was locked out at that point of course). They made it way more intuitive to find that stuff out, pretty much everyone I talked about this had similar feeling.
When I see what people go through to figure out an Easter egg for some random indie game, I tell myself sometimes “I wish I wasn’t working, I played video games too much, I wasn’t married or had kids, and I wish I didn’t have contact with the opposite sex.”
