I want to update everyone, you DO NOT have to have everything installed on E drive. You can have it on the root of C: drive just fine. Do the following. Please follow my directions. 1. Open VPX but do not load a table. 2. Click left CTRL key and O to choose a table to load. 3. Now you can click F6 and the table will load with editing enabled. If you have a wireless keyboard that uses the FN key remember to do that first. 4. Edit your table and then hit ESC, and exit to editor. 5. Once at the editor click CTRL and S to save your changes 6. Rinse and repeat for any other tables you want to edit. When you fire up PinballX front end you'll see all your changes saved just fine.
Sometimes editing the tables like this makes the bumpers stop working, any ideas on how to fix it? it doesn't always happen, not every table, but it does happen quite often
Very interesting - this is probably a stupid question, but does the inclination angle of the field effect the Ball speed or is it just how it renders on the screen?
@@XtremeGamingCabinets wow!! I didn’t know that. So we shouldn’t mess with that from default? Crap!! I change inclination on all my tables to better frame my table
@@DaveRoscoe No it does not! No parameter except Z-sclae does affect physics or table. Z-scale should alwas be 1 (wrong in that video). This is the only parameter that can mess up the table.
I did everything correct, and it keeps taking me back from the beginning, it doesnt save anything. So annoying. 10.7.3 version of VPX. I didnt had that problem before...
Thanks mate very easy to follow. Thanks 👍

Your explanation is very good, could you also explain to me how to change the vpx video settings individually by table? Thanks
thanks, finally I know how to adjust the x/y ratio.😁

F6 brings up regions on mine I can't get the size in the bottom left 😫
Great tips!...Thanks Daryl
If adjusting x/y scale should the ball be scaled as well. Wouldn't that make the gaps wider
Thanks Daryl! 👍

Yes can effect the ball speed

I have done something where my vpx adjustments all does the offset function no matter what option I choose. Do you have any idea why?

Stupid question. How’d you get your adjustment text in lower left? On mine is upper left and a real pain to read from the front of the cabinet?
Update to the newest version of vpx
