Glad to see your company is back going again. I really like your videos. They are awesome! Brings back my own great memories of when I drove motorcoaches. (23 years). Greyhound, Coach USA and Coach Canada. Keep it safe and keep those wheels turning. God bless you and all the motorcoach drivers out there.
There is a Fighting Walleye hockey team as they played in Fort Frances on March 16 they are from Kam River. Wisconsin Lumberjacks played 2 nights. These are all SIJHL
Hello ron. It's called a van true version 2 dash cam. You can get it on amazon. I ran the wires behind the posts on the window. You can tuck them behind the plastic. And it circles all the way to my center console where there's a USB plug.
Fascinating behind the scenes! As I commented in another gameday video, I pay close attention to Georgia Tech football charter ops. Does Illinois normally bus to a game as far away as Madison? I know Tech will take buses to Clemson this weekend as that’s only two hours and not close to an airport. And of course to Athens when we play UGA. Also, did they use eight buses due to COVID so they could have more spacing? I think our on bus road games we generally use three coaches. I skipped all the 2020 games so I don’t know what we did that year. Love this two video sequence - college football and buses! Love the orange and blue logo buses! Tech needs to get our charter company to paint a couple in white and gold! I’d probably lose my mind if that turned the corner on Gameday! 🤣
So great to see you back on the road driving and eating. Nice job vlogging with your face mask... normally super hard to be heard and understood, but you made it look doable.
james do you use cell phone app for gps? I got garmin 780 I like it but it dont give me contruction zones like waze app did on my cell. It was tough on my cell tho if I was doing usa trips with my roaming charges lol. anyway send me up your thoughts
Hey Brian. Happy new year my friend. Yeah that's the trade off. I like using my phone because it gives me more data such as construction zones and accidents like you said. However it's a data hog. GPS's are great because it's free satilite service but will not give real time data. The newer garmin's are great. What I would do is use my Garmin and have my phone mounted next to the garmin on the dash so that I can use Google maps or waze from time to time to get live traffic and construction updates as I get closer. But have my Garmin as the main trip navigator. And of course google maps is a great way to get construction indicators out of the way before I even leave the garage. In addition, some of our buses have wifi and I would connect my phone to the bus wifi and use waze on the wifi signal so that I'm not burning up data. But not everyone has bus wifi available to them
@@JWangvlogs happy new year and yea great idea gonna try that option. I like the garmin as well for height set ups you never wanna crash into a low bridge lol
Hey Rob Swartz. So usually the guy with the most seniority is the lead driver. If you noticed, our drivers have stars on their name tags. Some have none. Some have 1 some have up to 4. This is issued every quarter based on performance. It is a way to recognize excellence. Kind of like stripes in the military. Mult-ibus moves are usually led by a 4 star operator. yes usually the person leading is the one in charge of the trip. Its a lot of responsibility.
Greetings James I hope everything’s going well with you and your family and I will see about taking it my high school sports coach and see if we can charter one of your buses but how do I request a charter bus
I'm sitting in a motor coach watching a video about motor coaches on the ELD. Got it on the sound system. NERD!!! Now is the lengthy period of boredom before the overwhelming workload. Lol
Running temp employee shuttle from Rockford to Monroe, then wait..... then Monroe to Rockford. This lasts most of December. 11 busses. 20 hours on, 28 hours off. I'm doing an online course while waiting.

When multiple coaches go on trips, how is it determined who will be the 'lead driver'? Also, is the 'lead driver' essentially in charge?

Primarily yes. When they are not using them though, we use them on other charters.

我仔细注意到,你的橙色巴士里面,第一排乘客的头上,倒挂一个白色的摄像头,我想知道它是什么品牌?
Oh those are Rosco Cameras. Go to www.roscovision.com/
非常感谢

Do you ever worry about your safety in a front end crash ?
I try not to think about it. It is pretty apparent that drivers are pretty exposed when it comes to front end collisions on these things...
Has Peoria Charter joined the United Federation of Planets?
We've put in a application. Waiting for approval.
@@JWangvlogs haha, thanks for the response, you should do some trekkie vlogs dude, looks like you have some cool stuff

Hi C Benson. Which White camera? There is nothing white on my coach. All of my cameras black.
Who paid for the paint job on those?
Actually we did it in house. We have a in house body shop.
