Excellent and inspiring video. I used to ride the Peoria Charter in the late 1980's when I was attending Illinois State University in Bloomington/Normal Illinois. It would take me to Oakbrook Mall where my parents would pick me up or drop me off.

at almost 40 there is not a doubt in my mind that by the time I get to my (God willing) natural death, electric vehicles will be the norm. However, the infrastructure is just not there yet.

I've been driving motor coaches for nearly 20 years but my favorite bus is the MCI J4500. Maybe one day I would like to come to Champaign/Urbana, Illinois one day. Been by the food court building many times on the way to the many restaurants in China Town, but thought it was closed (didn’t know I had to go to the basement!) Most of the old great China Town restaurants have closed over the years, but there are many new ones to explore.

Back in the day (1979-83), I frequently took the Champaign-Chicago weekend bus. We rode Greyhound busses that picked us up and dropped us off on Wright Street in Champaign. Most of the busses went to the suburbs. I rode one that dropped me off and picked me up at the Jefferson Park terminal of the CTA. A round trip ticket cost $22. The video brought back fond memories!
