There definitely needs to be more people showing what Motor Coach operators do and what our days are like. We have a lot of interesting things to tell. Albert! It was a fun trip. Exhausting but fun. You know that's what made me start vlogging my bus trips to begin with. I realized at some point that Motor Coach operators had the best stories. And that's because no one realizes that the bus driver has a life. We are mostly invisible to those who use our services. So I decided to document it. I never thought it would get anywhere. Its fun to hang around Bus drivers thats for sure.
As a retired Coach driver of 40yrs (Scotland) one thing I loved was getting a police escort, the company I worked for did lots of VIP work, soccer teams, pop stars etc, as you say exhilarating, done the whole 5* to sh*t whole hotel thing.

My Cousins Came down to Ann Arbor for A Game As Marching Band And they use Motorcoaches And It’s Kind of cool to see how it was for the Drivers that drove the 3 hours down and 3 hours back To Traverse City And Great! :)
This is a cool channel, too. I see it is 6 months ago. Isn't amazing working overnight. My brain shifts gears after about 11:00 PM, and I am good until sunrise. (Must be all that Army training 1968-1971, ha, ha.) Nice riding with you.

The trip back was quiet and peaceful. There is something about driving through the night. Its very therapeutic. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a space ship flying through space when I drive through the night. I like the darkness.
I used to do military charters in Canada here and I used to get military escorts on the road and got to drive to some restricted places was a cool factor in the job as this is as well great video james
Thanks Brian it definitely adds a new level of excitement to being behind the wheel of a motor coach when you get to run red lights and have vehicles escorting you.
Was doing snow removal at Newark Airport couple years ago. The terminal I was working the Dallas Cowboys flew in and there were these beautiful Academy coaches there to pick them up. Later that night the Lakers flew in and again they boarded an Acedemy Coach. A really cool night. Was operating a Cat 980 payloader with a 30 ft wide blade
@@JWangvlogs To clarify things Academy Bus is the local bus co. Everyone just to them as "Academy Buses" here in Nj. I believe the buses were in fact Prevost.
haha yeah This was my first time. I let Gary Crull lead us because he used to live there and he knows the area well. That and he is a very experienced driver.
Hey J! First, lovely videos! second, I wanted to know if it's normal to have so many buses in a team charter. Here in Central America, with the soccer teams you normally see one or 2 buses for the team and support, but in normally you normaly just see one bus

Hey Shamon Hall. Thanks for the Comment. Wait until the Pandemic is over with. Right now a lot of Motor Coach operators are benched because of COVID. There are many companies that will allow you to drive for them a few times a months so that you can try it out on your off time. Happy Holidays!

Thank you! Yes we try to keep our buses looking good. Its not easy to do. Its also very expensive. Don't envy me too much. My videos leave out a lot of the difficult things about driving a coach and sports teams. Its not a easy life. Before COVID 19 it was a good way to make income but now, everyone is suffering in our industry. Most of our drivers have been without work for over 6 months now.
I might be a manager for the boys volleyball team at RHS which is the high school I’m going to and if we have a game in like Morris or channahon then I would ask the coach if they would want to rent one of your buses and for me to rent it. I would want bus 207 with you as driver

It because of social distancing due to covid. Usually it's only 4 buses on away games.

Have you tried the Nissin Cup Noodles? They're available at Walmart and in my opinion are the most authentic instant ramen available in the US.
