I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 too. Same thing, It was dangling down and dragging on the road... Where does the other end go?????
@@frankwong294 Nowhere the loose end of the hose has to be secure but it doesn't plug into anything. The hose is for excess air to escape.
@@dg-hughes thanks! I just stuck it up thru the frame to make sure the end didn't go underwater when I back up my boat trailer at the ramp...
Just bought a 2020 ram 2500 Cummins and have been going through all your videos. great vid man.......thank You... diff vent tube on my 9.2 5 Dana , on my 4x4 Dakota was sure enough blocked by a faulty little plastic breather .It only let air through either direction at high p.s.i. and hardly at all. Leaking pinion seal has slowed to almost non-existent

Anyone have a white powder residue under hood liner. My 2018 Cummins 2500 has what looks like road salt on it. Any idea. I’ve read it could be fire retardant leaching out Thanks !
Is is slightly pink in color? I had a really small antifreeze leak at the plastic y pipe connector where the radiator hoses meet. This is a very common problem. I replaced it with an aluminum y connector and it's all good now.
No it’s white think it’s water leak from washer nozzles.
I had that issue with my 2015 2500. It is the fire retardant that is embedded in the liner. I had the dealer open a Star case for the issue and the answer was that if it got bad, they would replace it as needed for the life of the truck. It does not happen to every truck and I have read that it sometimes is caused from a leaking washer nozzle and sometimes the rubber gasket that seals the hood on the windshield side. The dealer checked all of those for me and still could not resolve my issue. I found the liner soaked sometimes after a rain (parked) but did not seem to have an issue when washing the truck. Ultimately, I traded that one for a 2017 SRW 3500 and no longer suffer that issue.
By the way: the fire retardant is on the corrosive side and I did not like that it would leach down onto my engine components.
