Ok...something about TTB music in general for me,makes me think of my Dad. He loved music & instruments...the tempos, horns, drums, piano, organ. He would have loved this music. Wish I could have shared more with him. I remember traveling with my family different times in his Cadillac listening to the 8 track....Watching his fingers tapping on the steering wheel to the music. Our basement had a piano, organ, drums mic stand & Amp. I didn't know then that I liked to sing, sure wish I could have done that with him. I miss him and certain music makes me feel like he's right beside me,knowing how much I enjoy it,because of him....I'll tell him one day❤ rip Daddy
I had the immense pleasure of hearing Susan play live at the Cambridge Folk Festival. I met her afterwards and got a hug, a kiss and a signed CD. She was an utter lady!
One of my favorite memories when they played locally on an evening that happened to be Susan's birthday was her singing this song solo. She started and had to stop and restart the song because she messed up the intro. She laughed and sang it perfect, of course. Then the crowd sang happy birthday to her. Was a wonderful moment. I can't explain why, it just was.
no other woman/female anywhere can understand and phrase a song like Susan, she is beyond compare in the styles of music that she ( and Derek) excel in, she is a beacon for young singers to look up to but will never get the credit she deserves, certainly not here in the uk
Are you honestly saying Bonnie Raid isn't as good a singer? I'm not saying she's any better, but shes definitly as good and has been reaching people for decades. Hopefully Susan can carry that torche for as many years to come.
Like so many works by TTB. This too is exquisitely beautiful. I feel deep gratitude for them as I am sure many of you brothers and sisters do as well. They and one or two others have kept our culture alive and intact. The torched as been passed. Long may it shine. Peace.
Thought I was blown away with two talenented women singing a favorite Dylan song until the flute solo and I was GONE!!!! Thank you Amy on the mandolin. Namaste
Appealing rendition of a classic tune. Amy Ray's voice is a complementary counter-balance to Susan's inimitable voice. Horn & flute solos are a nice touch.
Took Austin to see TT Band downtown San Diego a few years back. Schooled him. He still talks about it. And 30 years ago, KC and I saw the Indigo girls a frw times. Those girls put on a great show. Coukd saaang . . .
I recently discovered the Indigo Girls covering this song with Brandi Carlile a few weeks ago. They are very different with this one played at a much slower tempo. Love them both!
I've been a fan of Susan's since the '90s when XRT was promoting her in Chicago. I've seen her and/or TTB several times. There are too many songs to list that I admire, but, this is easily at the top. And, any cover of ABB by TTB is always a favorite. ABB was my first concert (with Duane) when I was 12. Too young to appreciate was I was witnessing, but, it has stayed with me all these years.
See what I mean? The question on the Tedeschi-Trucks Band website once asked "what cover songs should the band do"? That is an impossible question to answer .Just listen to this song or Everybody's Talkin' or Darling Be Home Soon and you'll hear what I mean. What these guys (girls, too) do to songs we thought we knew is nothing shy of amazing. The songs are the same, yet, transformed from their original. So, ask a question like that? There is no telling which songs or how this great band will play them, but one thing can be guaranteed- that is, that they will do the song justice musically.
+Deb Lubin Sorry. Danielle is good, but she does a fairly straight cover of Susan's version, including lyric changes. The depth and maturity in Susan's vocal performance put this light years ahead of any other version of this song I've ever heard.
ive caught up with jimmy webb wichta linemean and laura nyro its amazing how many in the know people with great ears never heard of laura ,dusty springfield
And I should of said Farewell or bye not Goodbye don't think twice because it is alright your tucked in the bottom part of my heart where my rainbow is ❤❤❤this song✌💙
love this band its pity they refuse to tour europe . they came to London once for one show but have never done a full tour of the UK or any other country in europe

I suspect he knows. ❤
If the beauty of this song doesn’t make you cry Kofi solo sure will.
When Susan Tedeschi sits down to deliver a song, you know your gonna get a blast...
TTB = Truly The Best!
Maybe I’m a bit corny to some folks but after 72 years of having music feed my soul I think I’ve earned it.
Love to all🥰✌️❤️
Not corny at all I'm 63 and music makes me cry and feel good at the same time take my music seriously
I had the immense pleasure of hearing Susan play live at the Cambridge Folk Festival. I met her afterwards and got a hug, a kiss and a signed CD. She was an utter lady!
❤️❤️❤️
Me too! 73yrs.@@brianconley1705
Me too. I'm 68 and I love Susan singin like an angel ... the day after.....
If God played guitar ... would learn from Derek ........

Lucky dude I love her so so much
Wow! Killer rendition. The trumpet and the flute were unexpected but brilliant!

Phil Boardman why not? Thought uk had great taste in music. They love blues.
Taylor Gibson Ii

Bonnie Raitt is the Queen💫
@@lesheathjr4494 I'll say it, Susan is a little bit better. I won't knock bonnie, but that is what I hear.
The best band currently playing. Period.

This is my absolute favorite cover version of this song... just amazing!!
The Tedeschi Trucks Band packs so much good feeling into every one of their songs.
The perfect Band for Today's World of Trouble
That flute solo starting at about 4:18 blew me away.
RIP Kofi
I've heard many covers of Dylan's Don't think twice, but this
is right up there at the top. Fabulous and thanks for sharing.
This song, the story of my life!
Listening to this is like a spiritual experience, it really touches my soul.
Appealing rendition of a classic tune. Amy Ray's voice is a complementary counter-balance to Susan's inimitable voice. Horn & flute solos are a nice touch.
Isn`t it great to watch someone who can write, play and sing music, so rare.
Didn't see the trumpet coming. Absolutely beautiful all round.
unbelievable. Beautiful singing, incredible musicianship, dripping with soul. this is TTB!
This is so nice, I played it twice!
This band is so damn good!
Just got my tix for July in New Haven!!! Rock on.
RIP Kofi. Such a beautiful solo
♥️
💜💜💜
Hell YEAH! I love this! Indigo girl and Susan tedeschi!!!
Took Austin to see TT Band downtown San Diego a few years back. Schooled him. He still talks about it.
And 30 years ago, KC and I saw the Indigo girls a frw times. Those girls put on a great show. Coukd saaang . . .
She’s gotta be one of the great torch song singers of our time.
Worth a listen just for the trumpet solo!! Lovely cover!
Been to many of their shows! Ah-mazing!!!
The moment the backing vocals come in is pure magic.
I recently discovered the Indigo Girls covering this song with Brandi Carlile a few weeks ago. They are very different with this one played at a much slower tempo. Love them both!

it doesnt hurt any that susan has a true timeless beauty a gorl raised right!!
Love for finding all the covers of Don’t Think Twice that I can, and there are so many. This one is pretty unique, and very nice,
Search up Jerry Reeds if you haven't already!
Musicians and singers at their very best 👍

I would like to hear them play As long as I see the light by CCR.
I believe Ms Suzan is definitely in the position to inherit main streaming of female blues-rock vocalist from Ms Bonny Raitt in near future.
Was a great show!!!
Wow you made my night! Thanks to you i forgot my miserable lowlife neighbours rap music for 7mn. Beautiful! Amazing voice! Just amazing
Wow! 😭 so stunning. Thank you all for sharing your gifts w the World. Beautiful Kofi we miss you! 💡💕🌟
Oh dear God.....this is amazing!
Excellent in many ways.
Never heard of this group before. But the lead singer has an incredible voice!
Susan just kills it......anything she sings! ! ! ****
I’m literally OBSESSED with your all’s music! My goodness! I can’t stop listening! ❤️
Listening to that flute.....oh, are we going to miss Kofi ......Kofi, know we love you.
thanks TTB...and thanks Bob: "a statement that maybe you can say to make yourself feel better... as if you were talking to yourself."
so great!! go Amy!!
Those back-up singers were haunting!
I get to thinking about my favorite TTB songs and they're all great
so peaceful 💙
Always loved hearing Susan cover this, she gets it!!!
She owns this song now.
Purely transcendental cover.
+Shndlr Listen to Danielle Nicole's version, based on this version, but I think she has a much better voice, and her changes really work.
+Deb Lubin Sorry. Danielle is good, but she does a fairly straight cover of Susan's version, including lyric changes. The depth and maturity in Susan's vocal performance put this light years ahead of any other version of this song I've ever heard.
Two years have past. The real owner of this song just won the Nobel Prize recently. I say that loving TTB as much as anyone. This is awesome though.
Really cool!
Sounds amazing!
CATHY ANN: Susan is a power house......I love her voice can listen to her the most....
Cool band!
I adore her
amy or susan ?
Just Perfect
Great cover
Would love to know what you think of my 17 year old grandsons cover of this ua-cam.com/video/Ds4h0Q6GQHg/v-deo.html
ive caught up with jimmy webb wichta linemean and laura nyro its amazing how many in the know people with great ears never heard of laura ,dusty springfield
What a treasure they are - Best in the Land!
And I should of said Farewell or bye not Goodbye don't think twice because it is alright your tucked in the bottom part of my heart where my rainbow is ❤❤❤this song✌💙
love the fusion
Sublime Trumpet and Flute Solos! Still sad there is no Solo on the Slide....
Incredible.
This music feels like Running on Faith, by Eric Clapton, nicely done.
I thought the exact same thing
'Running on Faith'! What a great song!
Insightful observaton.
Check out Claptons version of "Don't Think Twice".

Brilliant 👏
♀️..yes,it is..🌬️🌺🇦🇺😻
Amy singing soul! Very new way of singing for her (consider her inaudiblity on Midnight Train to Georgia).
Sounds muddy compared to Susan's clarity
Good music begets........... good music!
Listen to her turn folk to blues - magic.
I would have loved to have heard Della Reese sing this. I hear her influence in this rendition.
Kofi 💔
love this band its pity they refuse to tour europe . they came to London once for one show but have never done a full tour of the UK or any other country in europe
Sorry to,say but We saw a concert of TTB in Brussels which is the capital of Europe. It was great 😮
❤️Staat op repeat…
Susan puts so much of herself into her performances. And her guitar player is pretty good too😉♥️🎆🎇✨🎈
She jams on the Sky is crying!!! She is awesome on her guitar skills!!!
fab
Ain't no use wonderin' why, just dig da music, to help get you and me bye!
Talk about beacon ? Oct Friday ,13th beacon NYC TTBAND see you there ,!
saw and heard tedeschi but not trucks. nice cover. i think dylan would like it.
I saw her I was 10ft from the stage she's a small women but her voice is amazing!!
There is an irony to saying that this is the most beautiful version of the best f-you song ever but it won't stop me from saying so.
the universatality of dylans melodies trly you ca put an old tin pan alley arrangement or a frank sinatra sound
Sounds like music to me
beautifully jammed....missing derek of course
Whoa. Who did the piano on this? All amazing arrangement
I guess that was Kofi Burbridge, who also plays the flute. Inspired!
This song should just go into perpetuity with Susan singing and every instrument known taking turns soloing.
who's playing piano?
+Luther Weston Kofi Burbridge of the Tedeschi Trucks Band. That's him on the flute, as well.
Who is that playing pocket trumpet??
+Mark Thiel Ephraim Owens ... he is the TTB trumpeter
Thought Amy was Eric Johnson for a sec.
Great version! But why do I want to hear Van Morrison singing this as well?
easy bro, u like van
good idea !!!
I like Amy Ray's voice better than Susan's.
Wow squared.
CHURCH
This was fantastic, BUT, would have been out of this world with a little bit of input from Derek…
creo que Susan sola hubiese estado mejor, no sé qué pintaba esa otra señora ahí, aparte de cumplir con una cuota de minorías.
NO
Yes
Stunning!
