This is that level of master musicians full to the brim with the soulful sounds you can listen to all day and into the midnight hours. The sound reminds me of those days with that wall of sound that just fills your heart like no other can do! Gotta hand it to all on that stage, nothing, but love for you guys, Susan, Derrick, I hpoe you can keep bringing it so that people can experience the heart of the 60's and 70's music. I've seen lots better performances and I've seen Joe Cocker twice. It saddens me to think you peaked(musically) that early. I'm of the minority opinion that Cocker muddled a great song. John Belushi was a better Joe Cocker. This is a superior version imo.

I talked my brother and my best friend into going to a tedeschi Trucks band concert. They were just ok about going but said yes. After the concert we were scheduled for 4 more.

No big conversation, he was due to go on soon and someone told him I had some. Damn…I miss the 1970’s when record labels pushed musician out to play in college towns. I saw Joe with Huey Lewis at the Ravinia Aug 2012…. Best show I have ever seen. I never would’ve guessed that he would’ve been gone too short years later… I balled my eyes out. I got to give it to Susan Tedeschi though she did a kick ass job on the song.

Actually Ringo nailed the original "A Little Help From My Friends"! He was perfect for it. The MDEM version may as well be a different song, with the arrangement, dynamics, and of course, Joe Cocker's intense, masterful vocal. It's okay....you can appreciate both versions. They are as different as apples and oranges...and both are wonderful.
