- Tedeschi Trucks Band perform the Etta James classic "Tell Mama" with help from Sharon Jones and Doyle Bramhall II at their Wheels of Soul Tour stop in Las Vegas on June 9, 2015.
I was at that concert at the Palms in the 2nd row. Not to many people knew about Sharon Jones before that night in Vegas but I was one that did. I knew about her endless fight with cancer, but that did not stop her Will, Determination, Passion and Love from reaching every single person in the Pearl Theater that night. She was amazing and every one on the stage knew how special she was and what she represented. RIP Sharon and Love and Light to all that still listen. The Music and its Magic live forever....
Thankyou for your kind words about Sharon Jones. It's people like you who restore my faith in humanity. 💖🙏✌️
I love seeing Susan smile when she sings with other people. She is having FUN and giving it all she's got, every time.
No matter how many times I watch this performance it blows me away! Sooooo good! Everyone on that stage is bringing it! Susan & Sharon were on another platform!!!!
Touring with Sharon Jones had to be a blast. Her stage energy was unstoppable. I believe she may have even known at this time that she was living in her "eleventh hour". I've always said as terrifying as it must be, it also would be so freeing. The world lost a joyful noise when she departed, but I bet Heaven got lit really quick and ain't been the same since.
Susan is amazed at Sharon’s’ energy and voice. What a combo! God Bless you Sharon⭐️
Anyone else think Sharon Jones needs a statue in downtown Augusta. James Brown looks all alone, needs someone to sing and dance with.
j4she These are the statues the south should erect.
Nope, but put one in Brooklyn and I am down.
I'm from augusta and I second that motion 🤘🙏
I'm sure family in north augusta would be on board!
One of the best Bands of the world 👏 Greetings from Germany
...I actually had a Kolsch the last time I saw TTB live!! Take good care of your beautiful country.
I truly believe that they would do this for nothing. Just look at what a great time they are having.
Ms. Sharon , left us way to soon, she was a badass performer ...RIP Ms. Jones
Must be a humbling experience playing a solo before Derek
The two best performing live soul bands on the planet. End of. Tedeschi Trucks, and Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings. Keeping it alive. Peace.
A Beautiful and amazing voice gone too soon, but never forgotten. REST IN THE ETERNAL SOUND OF SOUL Sharon Jones !!!
RIP Miss Sharon Jones :^(
GDS i

GDS what happend to her ?
Sadly, (very sadly), she died of cancer.
Miss you Sharon. Tedeschi Trucks is THE best band on the planet. Rock on.
Just know if if you can make it to this stage, you are certified badass
Music made in Heaven
Well, is that just flat kick-ass or what? Pretty sure this can replace my coffee in the morning.
Looking past their fame and fortune, I know in my heart, these are my people😎😎😎😂😂😂
The energy that Sharon puts into her performance is amazing.
We miss you.
Man, how sick was this!? This is magic! Sharon was a dynamite performer. I feel like she brought out a new level in Sue as well. Gotta say, that Strat that Doyle was using - that thing was well-loved.
Got the hairs on my arms standing up my heart racing and I just want to tell Mama. Best live band out there !!!
Love how Susan's enjoying Sharon.
You thought you'd found a good girl
One to love you and give you the world
Now you find that you've been misused
Talk to me, I'll do what you choose, I want you to
Tell Mama, all about it
Tell Mama, what you need
Tell Mama, what you want
And I'll make everything alright
That girl you had didn't have no sense
She wasn't worth all the time that you spent
She had another man throw you outdoors
Now the same man is wearing your clothes, I want you to
Tell Mama, all about it
Tell Mama, what you need
Tell Mama, what you want
And I'll make everything alright
Tell me, tell me now
She would embarrass you anywhere
She'd let everybody know she didn't care
Give me a chance I've been beggin' you
And I just want to take care of you, I want you to
Tell Mama, all about it
Tell Mama, what you need
Tell Mama, what you want
Tell Mama, what you want right now
Tell me, tell your mom
I'm your Mama
Tell me what you want
God Bless Sharon Jones! So talented!
Great song, originally recorded by Etta in Muscle Shoals, Sweet Home, Alabama. SAH-LOOT!!
The Great Miss Sharon Jones R.I.P. 💐🥀
And just a plug for the two drummers - they play so well together.
TTB always looks like they're having a blast, because they are! They're so talented and love what they do. I know the practice a lot, but it appears so effortless on stage. ❤️
This song is all the better for Sharon's harmonization with Susan's
I hate they took this off Spotify. I wanna listen to the whole thing again.

Falar o quê? Tell Mama...
Obrigado minha Matriarca do #Blues , Mrs. #EttaJames !!!

In 1967, I was in a band that copied "Tell Daddy", the original version of this, by Clarence Carter. It was a great song to start a show.
Love this song. Great rendition!
I saw them a few weeks ago and they did this song and it was imcredible.
Seen them a bunch, but the show in Austin during this tour was really fantastic. I love TTB!!
