Hey guys, today on my channel we are reacting to some scammers getting owned! Have you ever been scammed before? I definitely have and its NOT fun. The good thing about getting scammed is that once you have you'll never make the same mistake twice. And who knows, maybe you might take it upon yourself to troll a scammer. I'm from Nigeria, and I feel that at this point, all social media scammers now claim to be from Nigeria, even if they're not. Come on, our English ain't that bad 🤦
I really feel sorry for you guys cause I know majority of the people from Nigeria have got to be decent people. But these stupid scammers have been so persistent that they have given the whole country a bad reputation.

I was travelling through Nigeria in 1990 and my friend fell ill in a small town. The hospital had nowhere to get food so I walked down the street to a cafe. The lady who owned it was horrified this little white girl was walking around alone. She was very clear on what could happen to me, so she insisted one of her sons escort me back. Every day for a week one of her boys walked me to & from the hospital to make sure I was safe and she always had a plate ready for me to take to my friend. Wonderful family to meet!

@@afrobhee189 you say that but my mother in law believes all the bull shit we even caught her sending money and we searched the guy's name and there was thousands of complaints online of people calling him all sorts but obviously a scammer lol I love Google
I heard it's because if the person is dumb enough to look over the bad grammar/spelling, they're willing to look over anything else and believe the scammer and keep sending money
And they always get super pissed off when you call em on their bs
It's literally the broken English and awful grammar that give them away everytime, especially if they try to pass for someone the target knows personally. Seriously, scammers are dumber than their targets.

I got a call the other day from someone claiming they work for an insurance company and asked " have you or anyone in your family past from cancer" ... I told him yes, I had and he was in fact speaking to my ghost, and how could I help him. 🤔
He hung up.

I got a call from a scammer that told me I didn’t do my taxes right and owed the irs a few thousand. They said the cops were on the way but if I paid it now they wouldn’t arrest me. I did a 3 way call with a friend who pretended to be a cop. Love these stories!
I had the same thing. Until I asked them if they were aware that they had called the Internal Revenue Service and I was an agent and the call was being recorded. Then a stream of profanity spewed out of his mouth faster than you can say fraud. He continued until I added that we were triangulating his location so we could have him arrested. He slammed the phone down.

This happens to us Nigerians too lmaooo,they call you pretending to be bank operatives then get mad and curse at you when you don't readily reveal your banking info(which they probably already should know if they are bank customer care)🤭

I am old lady. Covid-19 has closed all the places I liked to go. I love scammers it gives me something to do and keeps them from trying to scam someone else.
My mom does this … 89 years old and sharp as a tack she kept a publisher’s clearing house scam on for three weeks ….

Hey I have a warrant out for my arrest too. The FBI called me and said I needed to give them $500 or they were going to come to my house and arrest me 😆
@@Hadria7777 I had a similar scammer. I'm on disability, and they told me that they put a hold on me getting it while they getting evidence of my crimes to arrest. Like, what crimes can I commit sitting at home, on my bed, listening to music and/or playing ACNH all day everyday? Like, is the crime not showing for a few days?

I lost track of how many of those I got. Honestly, im pretty sure the military would be calling me first if I had a warrant out for my arrest, cuz that's a big no no
I saw a story one time that a little old lady got a scammer to send her $100 as good faith. She took the money and then told the scammer she was not interested anymore! LOL!!!

That first one...omfg, I'm dead. I think the worst thing I've ever done to a scammer was give his cellphone number to my husband and brother in law after he wouldn't let up on wanting me to video chat him. I've never seen a profile get deleted so fast in my life. :-D
I usually don't comment but this is so hilarious. Wee moustache and Barbara O'cumbungle😂😂🤣🤣. However, this is quite sad 'cause I'm Nigerian and this is insulting. We aren't all scammers and illiterates. We are actually learned, well some of us.... Oh, she really owned him😂😂

Well you have to admit though… ANYONE calling from another country asking about your banking info and getting pissed when you don’t give it is a huge scammer. In fact, it’s to the point now where people from all over the US will either play with a call center person that calls us, or just hangs up.

Yes and yes. Loved it and a part four is a yes. I have my own story. He asked me if I had a bank account. I said yes, but I have $0.00 in it. He asked me if I got SS benefits. I said no. Did I work I said no. He got a bit angry and asked me how did I live. I said I'm a scammer from Nigeria. Don't understand why he hung up. LOL 🤣

I love it. Back in the years when the mobile was new thing in every hand, we were getting many random msg from random numbers saying they are from lottery company and I've won blah blah amount, and need to pay 000k amount to get this lotto win in the bank account. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A man in insta asked me to give him my bank and password as he wanted to send me money . He got annoyed when I said if he wanted to send me money he didn’t need my password he then tried to say his bank wouldn’t let him ... I ended up blocking him
J had a guy try to scam me on Grindr. He sent 2k to my account and I was supposed to buy iTunes cards and send them to him. As soon as the money hit my acct I withdrew it and closed that acct and blocked the guy. I scammed the scammer. I could've easily been arrested tho so maybe dont do what I did
Yikes. That's classic money laundering, he was trying to get you into. It's funny you got the money but it is dirty money. Who knows how that money was made, drugs, weapons, scams, sexual slavery, extortion....
Ummmm, you now owe the bank 2K. I hope you did not spend it because if you don't pay it back when they request it will go against your credit and they can possibly take it out of your paycheck eventually. Most of these scams are done by depositing fake checks. You cash the check, take the money out and by the time the bank finds out, normally the person would have sent the scammer the money and would be left owing the bank the money.
Either you were about to participate in money laundering or the scammer edited the html or just sent it from you savings to your checking

Charlotte is saving me a lot of money. I cancelled cable recently. Seemed like a good idea since all I watch are Charlotte’s hysterical videos. The content of the videos is important, but it’s the presentation that makes this channel unique. Someone that I actually know wanted me to wire $ one time, gave me a grandiose sob story that was just too over the top to believe, and I told her I'd buy her a Greyhound ticket, and she could go pick it up at the bus station. She kept insisting I send her $. I refused. Reason I did it that way: You can purchase a Greyhound ticket online in the person's name, non-transferable, non-refundable, so they can either take that bus or not, but they can't cash in the ticket or sell it to somebody. That's how you determine whether the person want's to skip town for real, or whether they're scamming you for dope money.

I know someone who fell for one of these scams. She was always treating me like she's better than me and smarter because she's a CNA and I didn't go to school so I really struggled to not laugh at her when she fell for one if these schemes. I asked her if I could read through the emails so I could see if there was a way to get the money back (obviously I just wanted to read it) and oh my goodness, it was very clearly a scam from the very beginning and she gave all her info in her second response.
Found Charlotte yesterday and I have been enjoying every minute of her videos!
