I hate when people lie about having cancer. My mom and husband died from cancer and I've been cancer free for 7 years (breast). They have no idea what cancer patients go through, it's a horrible disease and to watch a love one suffer is something I wouldn't wish on anyone

If u have children or other family members do get them checked for cancer too coz your family history about it is too strong prevention is always better them cure

Exactly. Crap like that makes me very angry and hurt. My brother-cancer. My best friend/partner of 26 years is terminally ill. It’s not cancer but it’s really bad and he doesn’t have long to live so this stuff really really upsets me. People that do stuff like this have no clue what it’s like to suffer or to watch somebody suffer through something so horrible. It hurts.
Love your channel. I've even gotten my 15 year old daughter into watching your channel. She's now a subscriber. I think you are the perfect type of role model for her. Your sense if humour is eclectic and fun. I came across your channel by chance and found it interesting, but she absolutely loves your channel and content. Thanks for all that you do. Yup lol, I have 3 sisters and they love Charlotte now.
I shared a bridezilla one to my sister as one is getting married but one day my mum heard that weird Turkey noise that Charlotte made and is now heavily used lol and my mum said “what the bloody hell are you watching now?”
I actually send her text messages “Charlotte has uploaded”

The guy who lied about his grandma dying of cancer really pissed me off. My grandma actually did die of a fast growing cancer. Why would people lie about that???

There was a girl I went to high school with who was constantly having relatives die, thought it was cool to have a bunch of mental illnesses that she didn’t have, would talk about all the abuse she suffered at home, always cried about how poor they were, and claimed to have been molested by her dad when she was 6. It turned out that her mother was a CPA and they money, and a very nice house. Her dad died when she was 3 months old. Her mother never yelled at her or laid a hand on her, and she had never had any mental illnesses. Well except for her compulsive lying apparently. Oh and the only death that had happened in her family, was her great grandmother when she was 10yo. She was a piece of work!

I knew a girl like that too. She lied about really dumb stuff, like, “until I was 6, my eyes were blue” and claimed she was dating a guy my sister had a crush on (the guy was not interested in her and ended up marrying my sister). Turns out, this girl was schizophrenic.
@@coffeecarnosaur3095 well, she at have been lying but some people are born with blue eyes and they don't shift to green/ hazel until they're older. I had blue eyes until I was six and they turned green.
I follow the woman who said she smokes pot and still gets hassled about it. She gets articles written about her all the time with headlines like "smoking pot makes me a better mom". So sad that she just stated she smokes rather than drinks because of her problems and gets horrendously shamed for it still, years later.
The sad part is, those of us who are genuinely sick or disabled are questioned on the daily. People say you're faking it for attention.
ironically, i started therapy not that long ago. I knew something was wrong with me, but i also felt i was overreacting or doing it for attention.
It made me question whether I was actually sick or not and it was pretty messed up.
In the end I hold a BPD diagnosis, with 28 years of abuse and lack of social skills i can't undo.
@@alexgade4512 I had Borderline Personality Disorder, Complex Trauma, D.I.D., P.T. S.D., Anxiety, Depression, etc.. Yes, 'had' - past tense. I want you to know that these diagnoses resulting from trauma aren't a life sentence. There is a way through it all. Our brains aren't hard-wired as originally thought, they are neuroplastic. Social anxieties can be overcome with practice, and strengthening your sense of self. My way was to work extremely hard, and creatively, with a psychologist for years. I was cleared of all mental illness diagnoses and ended therapy. My psychologist and I are now friends. :) Childhood abuse messes with development. It's exhausting living each day without a stable foundation as a starting point. We can't erase the past, but it is definitely possible to fill the gaps later in life. It might be of benefit to you to find support groups. How other people view things, or how they deal with things, can be life changing for us, too. You are already extraordinarily resilient to survive all you have! As adults, we now have choices. You can choose to make changes within yourself and have a much better quality of life. You can reclaim your life as your own. Life is actually full of possibilities. I frequented psych. wards in my bad old days. There is no growing back. You have made it this far, and survived the worst of it, so I know you can get through the painful and challenging healing, too. Self honesty, learning to nurture yourself, and reaching out to others for help, are key. There is always hope! 💜
This! I have had (very minor) cancers, but i actually take chemo for an autoimmune disease. When people assume i have cancer i have to set them straight quick. I STILL get ppl accusing me of faking.
The thing is, most of the accusers are either complete strangers, or immediate family who actually think they know better than a team of doctors 🤦♀️ how strange to be that deeply invested in the idea we fake illness! I cannot begin to understand it
@@alexgade4512 I spent a year in therapy after my PTSD became too disrupting to deal with on my own. I was in such denial and disbelief and afraid people were going to think I was doing it for attention that I had trouble opening up...until my own dreams started to show the abuse I suffered from.
and until something ACTUALLY happens some are still like "oh you're faking iiiit" or the possibility they actually believe us
One of my ex-boyfriend was in a group of friends all through school. One of them got cancer and battled it, had chemo with the hair falling out, time off school but then got better. Only for it to come back. His family weren’t being supportive so my ex went to challenge his folks cause it looked like he might not beat it this time. The parents were shocked as he NEVER EVER had cancer. He faked the entire thing, starved himself to make it look like he’s losing weight, shaved his head and eyebrows to make it look like he lost his hair. I mean he was FULLY committed to the lie.
That's... that's really fucked up. How can people lie about having cancer? Like, I get if someone is really desperate for attention, but why would someone lie about having cancer,? I just don't get it... Cancer is a horrible thing to have.

Yeah... it is either "münchhausen" (a person pretending to be sick) or "münchhausen by proxy" (a form of abuse where someone repeatedly seeks medical help for another person, who obviously is not ill)

@ShilohIvy I’m so happy you are a survivor. My mom passed away from a very rare cancer. She wasn’t ready to go. There’s something really sick about a person claiming they had cancer that didn’t.
ive had cancer 3x in 32 years. its very hard for me to wish cancer on anyone. i dont think they should get cancer but i do think they should spend some time in a childrens cancer hospital and witness cancer. see what it does to a person. cancer has made me who i am today. im the person who would give the shirt off my back to someone in need. i am a survivor of hodgkins lymphoma and luekemia if i spelled that correctly.

two of my friends died of cancer, the same year with just a couple of months between them.. I really hate and will never forgive someone that lies about that. They really dont have a heart.

The glasses brought back nightmares of my childhood when my glasses had to be that big🥴because I had to have bifocals at 8. I now get the smallest frames possible lol
I've lost some hair over the years; hormonal/hereditary stuff, and I got frustrated and finally shaved all my hair off. Not long after, something that contributed to it also put me in the hospital. I needed an actual cancer specialist to do surgery on me. In a cancer ward. So of course I'm all bald, in an out of the cancer ward, 2 blocks from the Starbucks where I had worked for years. In a yuppie neighborhood full of gossips. My co workers got sick of fielding questions about me. Finally they told me they had just been letting the nosy customers think what they wanted and we always got tons of tips when I worked. When they told me and said just to go along with it, I laughed and said we were all going to hell. But when I went in for my surgery finally and the nurses etc said what a great/easy patient I was I wasted no time telling them why. I felt extremely humbled and fortunate.
7:05 I got 3 strawberry pop tarts in one wrapper before. It's the only time and it was at least 15 years ago but knowing it happens, I feel obligated to share this fact and to back up his claim. On the other hand, he may in fact be lying 🤥

My aunt passed away afew years ago from cancer, it was horrible seeing her gasp for hair as she laid dying. She passed away afew hours after our last visit. I used to sing to her but I couldn't in that moment. She'd listen to my problems I had with my mom and try to keep my strength up. I'll miss her, she was a character always put others before herself and loved her fudge.

Actually the pop tart thing can happen. I've heard of it happening, I heard of it when I got one and a half in mine. Incidentally, if you call and complain they'll send you certificates for Kellogg's credit. We had rice Krispy treats and pop tarts for daayys after that.

All of us who own dogs knew it was bullshit when we saw it still had coffee droplets on him. The minute I instantly accidentally drop anything remotely edible on my dog, he's sprayed the entire house by shaking it off him or licked/eaten it all too fast for a photoshoot.

As a woman born and raised in the N. Georgia mountains in the southeast of the United States your southern accent cracks me up. I don't have very heavy accent myself. My mother is from CA and was a school teacher before she had kids and we were not allowed to say *y'all* growing up because it's "not a real word" (true) but my husband's side of the family is deeeeeep South and I love it. They have a lot of made up words and phrases that are ALL THEIR OWN. 😂😂😂

People that lie about cancer made life a living hell for my late best friend who was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She was large and the steroids before chemo just puffed her up even more. She lost some weight as chemo progressed but only lost her hair in round 3. Lots of people accused her of faking it when her school put up a Gofundme. It was heartbreaking.

@@manna6618 I exaggerated a bit there. I would never be able to have any form of crush on her. She is not exactly my type of person. On youtube she is great but in real life....probably not. But if she is your type, who knows maybe you would get a chance someday. She claims to be single. Apparently there are not 7 million guys. She is too superficial in a lot of ways. Maybe that makes some people like her less.

@@jodyknight The breathless part was exaggerated for comedic purpose. And since a person's appearance is important to Charlotte I just thought a positive annotation would be nice and appropriate. And she probably put some thought and definitely some effort into her appearance, at least it looks like that. And no, I DON'T ACTUALLY KNOW HER, but I know the type of person she is. She is not exactly the type of person I would prefer for example as a partner. Observation, experience and at least some knowledge when it comes to reading people, that are the things that led to my comment and former reply above. An example: Charlotte did a very focused job in that video. And the elements of her style work in a specific way together. She probably chose her appearance in the context of representing this specific new sponsor. Charlotte takes a lot of things serious. Her goofiness is her way of breaking out of her own inner stiffness. But coincidentally great for the role of an entertainer or performer. Hence youtuber. Hope I answered your request well enough. Then when I read your reply to the first person who replied to your og comment on the video it was a bit confusing. So, I just thought I'd ask you. I totally understand if you were being comical if you don't really like her or you wanted to make a joke about Charlotte or something like that but I don't know her well enough to know if you liked her a lot or if you were being sarcastic.

Lol, agree about the puppy. I’ve got three dogs & had things slip down a leash…they might hook on an ear at best. Mind you, one of our dogs, a lab x has this thing for clean laundry and I once heard my 82 year old next door neighbour laughing so hard he could barely call my name through the front screen door.
Went to find out wth was going on and found our lab x standing at our front window, tail going 1000 km/hr (she ADORES this neighbour)…with one of my sports bras partially hanging off her head & across her shoulders. (Neighbour thought perhaps I’d best know, bless him 🥰😂).

I hate when people pretend they have cancer. Cancer is nothing to joke about I had it and my first friend in the hospital died plus it took a whole year to get cancer free

10:52 yeah...being someone with endometriosis and interstitial cystitis, I’ve seen quite a few people lie and get caught about being chronically ill and trying to get money out of people (and sometimes succeeding). Me and a few other women were part of a few support groups and we started noticing a few women posting in each group, but their story would change constantly depending on which group they were posting in. One woman tracked all of the changes and inconsistencies and called them out. They’d disappear after being called out. I always felt bad for people that donated to women that straight up lied about being sick in order to get money. Shameful.

I had breast cancer last year, went through chemo, surgery and radiation. No one at infusion took any pictures of themselves getting chemo! It makes me mad and sad that people pretend to have cancer. It was a horribly painful experience to go through, both physically and mentally.

Some of my favorite people died of cancer. My husband's beloved Aunt that I never got to meet died of cancer as well. God have mercy on anyone that pretends to have had cancer or had a loved one who had cancer. Shame on them.
