Hey, my MIP cvd kit came with 2 little spacers, do you happen to know where they go? looks like your kit didn't come with any, I'm guessing they go on the inside of the axle before the wheel hex? Id appreciate any help, thanks.
Great video. I’m a bit nervous about opening up the transmission. Don’t want to mess it up. I have the MIP Top Shaft and Slipper Clutch. I also have the Aluminum Motor plate. When I change the pinion, I’m going to go all in. Also my stock slipper clutch ( blue ) dusted everywhere on Brushless.
I thought the same of the plastic idler gear but ended up installing anyways just because i thought mip makes all metal upgrades so i think there is a good reason why its plastic maybe because aluminum and steel dont match and steel will destroy the aluminum.
So one quick thing you can do is put a zip tie around the stock servo saver and that will help tighten it up. but losi also sells an aluminum replacement servo horn that works great.
They do come with oil in them. But if you are looking to put new oil in your shocks. we would recommend putting 32.5wt in the front and 30wt in the rear.
I dialed out the steering dual rate to 50% and I still have the same steering travel. The factory setting was way too high. The servo saver absorbed the extra travel but no doubt it was stressing the servo.
I have the mini b pro, I put the goolrc 7200kv, with a 35 amp esc, I run the gens ace 3s 800mah battery in it. It fits with zero mods. I put the receiver on the servo. So everything fits. Didn't want or need the 2n1. It's a dang speed racer. It's faster than my 1/8th scale.
That car stand has got to be the most useless thing I’ve ever seen 😂.. the car is so small you can use just about anything laying around the house for a work stand
I also went with the ecx 4wd 1/18 slipper pads ecx212005 and vaterra vtr212002 smaller spur they fit perfect no mods required!
Thank you for this video. I need to do all upgrades to mine and my sons . He will be unboxing his for christmas :D

How tight should the diff be? Like i have absolutely have no clue how to tell what’s tight or what’s loose
Sorry for the audio problems everyone. It will be fixed for our next video.
The only thing that I don't see you add is the ball diff was it available at the time when you was making this or not. 💪🏻🔥😎🔥👍🏻
I enjoy my two Losi cars these brushless. I have had to do many repairs. They are just lots of fun! Thanks!
18:50 I saw a pin drop out. Not sure if he noticed it or not.
We did catch it before fully assembling. But thanks for checking.
Did you paint this body yourself or is there somewhere/someone sells them painted like that? Cheers!
You didn't talk about how to adjust the ball diff. Could you comment on or show a video on how to break-in and adjust the ball diff?
The Mini-T 2.0 actually doesn't have a ball diff. it just has an open diff that you can put grease in.
Just got Mini-T 2.0 and I love it!! Great vid! New SUBSCRIBER here!
where did you get the weight kit at

That's one of the big reasons we changed to the MIP slipper. It can handle brushless power.

That could be, we will check ours after running it and see if we see any damage.
what is a good servo/servo saver. The stock saver seemed to have way too much play. Thanks

Just picked up the brushed for my son and the brushless for me! They are so much fun! Do you know if the reefs micro 99 servo will fit in this?
We have not tried that servo but the stock servo size is sub-micro.
we got a faster Brushed motor but the Shaft to short causing a Problem with Gear alignment! any one Know any thing to help Make this work.?
Can you use lipo with brushed?
Are you guys going to do a video on the New Mini B?
What would you like to see?
@@TowerHobbies I’d like to see how it does on a track with brushed and brushless.
@@pants7241 hobbywing 5100kv kit and Proline Axis body. Thing kills carpet racing and can almost keep up with 13.5.
Anyone else having problems with rear wheel hex’s rubbing hubs after installing mip cvd axles. I can barely tighten my wheel nuts now.
My new cvd's are doing the same thing. Any ideas to correct this issue?
@@flipcoin3852 i hit the carriers with some sand papers to gain the clearance i need. Mip is usually good stuff. Dissatisfied definitely.
Pin fell out lol
Do the shocks come with shock oil

Great video...I received mine today so happy with it! Maybe next time a Top view would be better..#TEAMLOSI 🙌🏼🙌🏼
Have you had any problems with that servo I’m playing on buying a new servo for mine I’ve gone through 2 already
The Spektrum A3040 that we have in this truck works great!

What is the benefit of CVD over Dog Bones?
A CVD is a bit stronger and also provides a smoother power delivery because the dog is only on one side of the axle and not both.
Also, you don’t have to go searching for a tiny dog bone when one of the links pops off.
Sound is horrible. What are u next to a highway. Love tower thanks for the vids.
I can’t get my slipper gear any tighter and it slips and won’t even move the car
I'm having that same problem. It'll move, but slips like crazy, and gets super hot!

What's the speed?

why did you opt for the slipper over the ball diff?
Ball Diff is bad design from MIP. Lots od people complain it comes loose and they eventually go back to stock
Are these parts compatible with the mini b?
It’s the same car. So yes, chassis is longer is all
yes, all of the parts we used here will work.
The mic a bit closer maybe?
My local hobby shop only carrys the shocks and aluminum hex and thats it:/. Hard to find a trust worthy place to order online.
We offer lots of mini-t upgrades.
Irony
u might wanna mount your mic to the table or make it closer
Where to get that body?
That is a clear body that has been pantied.
iam trying to get one it will be my frist 1help me whish one
literally could have put an iphone next to you for audio
