There’s not a single car I recommend more than the Mini B. First car, 20th car, doesn’t matter. Make it brushless and it’s awesome no matter the surface. I’ve ripped it on everything. As long as there aren’t rocks it absolutely kills it! Plus it’s crazy durable, again, as long as there aren’t any rocks 😅
How are you keeping the ball diff from coming loose? And or still being moveable without slipping? Seems the line is extremely fine and I can't seem to get it right
What is the red little box next to the receiver ? Also love the buggy man just got mine today and entered in my first race 🤘🏾didn’t do to bad but can’t wait to race again .
Just bought the brushless version and did all the upgrades you did... and a little more. But i didn´t know there is a alternativ to the normal differential. After a few times of using I saw, that there is some black grease coming out of my differentials. Now i know they are not sealed and thats the reason why. Maybe i will also go for the ball differential. Have to check, if they where available in Germany. Any updates on how this buggy is running? Do you think they will keep this buggy around? I just picked up the pro roller for me and may pick up a few more for family and friends to come on out and give rc a try. Love the cost factor compared to 1/10 scale.
I'm running the castle micro mamba x system in mine and love it , it's so freaking fast, alot of guys run the hobbywing system at my local track , good upgrades you mention, I would like to try the ball diff
@williamperri3437 idk never had a 14b, we race the mini b class on our carpet track so that's what everyone uses , parts are readily available for the mini b , and good racing tires from proline or jconcepts so if ur going to want a race buggy build then get a mini b pro roller and pick a castle or hibbywing system for it , I run it with my race transmitter a sanwa m17 , but I race 1/10 scale on road and off road so that's why i got a Sanwa M17 , but ya man the mini b pro roller is a fun buggy , highly adjustable and some guys launch theirs off ramps and stuff , we have a blast racing them, look up hobbytown hobbyplex and watch the mini b videos
What battery are you using? I just shook hands with a guy on Facebook and I'll go pick up my new mini-b tomorrow! It doesn't come with a battery though. My local track recommends hard packs and I want to respect that, but I don't know if a conventional shorty hard pack lipo will fit in there. Any thoughts/recommendations?
He has the 800mah dynamite pack but there are 0 for sale. I bought 4 about a year ago and 1 currently works so probably why they don't sell these anymore.

I beg to differ I think the Mamba x setup is like two times faster and you could tune that to make it have a little more throttle response my little turd will go fast as crap
I’m almost 50 I’ve had dozens of rc’s the mini b is a blast for indoor fun.

I agree i messed around looking at it for 2 or 3 years finally got one...iv got 100s of rcs....mini b tlis by far the funnest on the track

Got a full set of the OG MIP stuff (as well as full Integy & GPM alloy OG parts), I wonder what would cross over with the drivetrain...
The micro mamba is too much for the mip ball diff. You can not keep the diff tightened. The mip diff is also plastic where the original is metal.

It is also converted to brushless with the hobby wing combo. I guess that might be important information for selecting a battery

On carpet, wouldn’t you want to lower your ride height to minimal?
You need enough up travel in the shock to not bottom out and bounce but yes.
