- G'day guys, I got the Mini T 2.0 back out with a new combo and aimed to beat my previous PB of 64MPH with this 3S combo, and I absolutely smashed it!

Are you still around??? Question, stock mini t 2, wobble in wheel shafts in front and rear stock… bearings cheap ones stock or bad stamped molded steel axles warped or bent stock? Because at your speeds I am sure stock bearings or shafts would wobble car to death..
What have you don’t to tighten the steering? The biggest issue with mine is the stock steering has a lot of play which doesn’t help with control

How can I find the hex adapters for the mini t 2.0 so I can run 1/10 scale wheels
All you need is a 12 mm hex set. The rear has a pin so you can swap it over easy. My trick is the front wheels just roll so you don't need a pin, just sit a 12mm hex on the axle like a spacer and the wheel will do up tight and spin true. To tighten the wheel nut turn the steering full lock so you can get to the alley hex provision on back of the axle while you tighten the wheel nut on the front.
Ive got this old mini 8ight with carbon fiber chassis and shock towers that would be an awesome speed runner. I was looking at the sidewinder 4 with the 5700KV, but I also seen some higher KV motors that work with that ESC. What’s your opinion?

Finally, someone running touring wheels. Are the wheel hexes 12mm and are those m chassis wheels or 1/10?
Would a larger battery fit, say 1500mah lipo?
Yeah man these are 12mm hex all round the front are custom modified ones. You can easily get a larger battery in with this layout design. The cut out in the body will allow for a longer lipo but it affects the overall weight distribution alot more

The spoiler on these is just a lexan lip and I didn't want to use it because the wheel base is so short it can cause it to blow over.

Thanks man 👍 they are not bad I was mainly using them for aesthetics tbh 😎 they do offer more traction but 1/10 rubber wheels will explode around 90+mph the 1/10 foams explode around 180mph

Thanks mate 👍 Yeah the slipper definitely needs to be locked when you have such tall ratios after that last pass the old Losi spur melted , this spur is borrowed from a 1/16 scale 😉
I got mine hitting 90 tho it’s set up for 3s but the pinion is almost the same size as the spur

I copied someone else’s “75 mph” set up and…. these things are not meant to go that fast! It was fricken insane… My tires are bald so, I had to quickly learn some very delicate trigger discipline just to get it to stop doing donuts. Then on my very first attempt at a somewhat straight speed run I rammed a neighbor’s trash can and two screws holding the motor in place sheered off, the pinion gear went flying, and half a dozen other parts broke. I’m going to be gearing it back down to the stock pinion and running 2s instead of 3s. Even then I’ll probably find some way to cut the power by half in the transmitter.
You know I'm watching this video a couple of times now and damn is fast "BUT" if you extended the chassis and modify it in any way you can call it a mini t no more now that's your own chassis not an actual mini t, but doing that speed take it back to stock form and do that same speed again. 🤔

Thanks buddy , they are rear 1/10 sweep Evo exp and from m class mini 1/10 touring wheels. The hex adaptor spaces it out alot
