1/16 and 1/18 scale are super popular here where i live because there is no organized racing with bigger cars, all the tracks have shut down and we have 1 hobby shop that really only carries the highend stuff, we get togetherand run the mini t’s and mini b’s on our backyard tracks. I wish losi would release a mini 4wd buggy or truggy.
When I was a kid in the 90s nothing I wanted more than a Team Losi buggy...they always looked so awesome in the RC mags. Ppl are really lucky to have access to these affordable cars now.
Those magazines were part of the golden era, fantastic photography, and write ups. I was just like you as a grom, wanted one bad. We were part of the last generation of having cool things. Cherish that, its gone.
I'm a old school racer, still have my first race car, a JRX2. Haven't raced now in some years, no carpet tracks in my area, but I have raced oval at a local track up until about 3-4 years ago. I appreciate the fact that there is a way to get back into some fun racing, without having to spend $$$ and cart around tons of equipment and parts. Bought a Mini T 2.0, have had some fun around the house with it, would love to be able to race it some. The Mini B is a good option. All about fun for me, no more tricked out motors and batteries and parts the average guy can't get.
Cool to see some mini b updates! Love mine on my backyard dirt track. Wish there was an option for rear motor but adding some weights in the back helped with traction a bit.
@@johnymodem1326 yep that helped also. It’s pretty good when the track is damp, it’s mainly when it starts to dry out that it gets hard to find grip. I enjoy the challenge but always wonder how much different it would be with a rear motor setup.
I want the brushless but only a touch faster than the stock setup. Longer run times for the same mah, not too fast for the track and overheating, and no brushes. Like 4000 mah and like 3 pinions in the rtr. 40mph for a mini on a track is pretty extreme. Just good thoughts.
I'd love to hear from these 2 why they're making this vehicle and they discontinued the mini eight. The mini b is nothing compared to what the mini eight was and it was about the same price.
I had just finished building my pro roller, then you come out with this. Its ok, i like my hobbywing quickrun esc and motor. I'm interested in the hop up parts, saw some axles, aluminum bits, and swaybars. When will they be available?
I’ve got a mini t 2.0 and it’s a great truck but I had to put the knobby tires from the brushless version on it to use it anywhere but carpet or pavement, you should really be putting the same tires on both out of the box
I was thinking the same thing. I’ve been waiting forever for this bike just like your self. The fact that they don’t use their UA-cam channel to update customers on the shipments is crazy.
Gotta get rid of the bottom shock caps on the minis. They are horrible to fill and bleed, Nice to see the new option shocks has as bleed screw. Looking forward for the new improved ballcups available to purchase on the side....the old ones are just hideous.
Quick question regarding the included charger as I have never had Spektrum batteries before. I know that Spektrum batteries will, after a while, auto discharge from full, down to storage voltage (around 50%). But after doing a run with any of my other cars, I then charge my used batteries UP to that 50% storage voltage (as opposed to charging them up to 100%) So my question is, any idea if there is a way to take such batteries up to storage charge and then stop? Or will I have to do some trial and error experimenting and learn to just turn off the charger after, say, 15 or 20 minutes. Thanks to anyone who can help 👍
How do you bind a DX5C? The SR315 doesn’t enter bind mode when you press it 3 times. The receiver only powers up when the SLT2 transmitter is already powered on and connected to the receiver. NM I found that if you hold down the button on the receiver while powering it on the motor/esc; the receiver enters bind mode. Now my DX5C controls my Typhon 6s, Losi 22s drag car, my Losi Mini B, and my SCX24.
Love my MINI-B. I’m first generation MINI-B owner. I hope you do something about the Wing Mount bracket. Also, the original servo for the MINI-B left much to be desired. Perhaps too much play. Keep it going though.
My brother had the 1/24 micro T years ago, he hardly used it and it was what got me into hobby rc. It was so fun to drive around and was pretty quick for how small it was. I'd love to see an updated brushless version of it
Hello!, I am a very, very large van of yours, I already have a LOSI xxxG4+, LOSI xxxS, a LOSI xxxNT Adam Drake 2 and 2 pieces of TLR-B's, but could you please build a TLR 1/8 2WD Truck !
Why not use the pro roller parts and add the brushless system instead of adding an extra 100 bucks for a 50 dollar brushless system. 250 no aluminum shocks arms and towers basically made of glass. Before you make it worth it you have spent 400+ might as well just get the 1/10th scale
With that logic why not just go 1/8th and have something that’s actually tough! Or 1/5th? The small scale cars have a character and lightness that’s unobtainable with larger chassis
Why do I have to buy the whole shock assembly and not just the spring cups? Every other Losi has the cups separate for sale on the site. I like my car, but that and the lack of customer service kinda turned me away from Losi. I get it though, you're paying for the name like all the other big brands. Parts are still made in China, just more available.

I loved growing up with those magazines. Always wanted an HPI Rs4 Nitro.
I race my iPhone I don't know what you old guys are talken about
@@VonHanzee I still get my rc car action magazine every month.
The Mini-B Pro Roller is the best money I ever spent. Love to see the TLR Tuned stuff.
WHEN will we get some tenth scale reissues?
i want to thank you all again for this great video
You guys need to reissue a 1/10 jrx2 and jrxT.. us old school guys will be all over those

perfect little carpet car for tight small tracks .
Bringing back the mini 8eight would be dope.
Still running mine
Thanks for the dirt tires on the new version. I just got a miniB Pro and couldnt use the tires that come with
Nunez you and the team are doing a great job. Nice job with the upgrades, going to add to the stable.
I remember when Losi first started. They were amazing back then!
What a great informative vid Brian…. I love my mini t an can only imagine how awesome this brushless buggy is thanks for putting it out for us…
Cool to see some mini b updates! Love mine on my backyard dirt track. Wish there was an option for rear motor but adding some weights in the back helped with traction a bit.
Did you try a weaker rear shock setup? Being less hard on the rear may help it to keep the contact patch "active", especially on a dirt track.

great video, sold me on a mini B
Next we need some front shock post covers

Do you know what range of pinions will fit? Mainly the smallest that fits. About to buy two of them if I can slow em down enough. Thanks
I want one with clear body just for the shelf. Looks so nice.

Love their products would love to see a new road car or a new xxl monster truck
Has there been any updates to the ball cups? What about the shock eyelets?
Will the JRXT mini body fit on the Losi mini B with modifications?
Do you guys have a director of janitorial service?
Nope
When will the Mini-T2 or JRXT get freshened up with these new bits? -U10
