I absolutely love this haircut. I'm a retired hair stylist and it amazes me how many (so called) stylist do not understand cutting natural fall, especially over the ear area. I love wearing an inverted bob with decreased graduation on the sides and increased graduation in the back. I just wish I could find someone who knows how to cut it.

I think people thought the picture at the beginning finished was the before. I loved the look. I used to use the Kendra products but I am going to buy the volume builder ASAP. Hi Kenra, this was so gorgeously done and very clear!
I have a question, I had a haircut today and requested literally this but my stylist didn't give me any layers (and I'm not sure if she did a rough cut or a straight cut either), currently my hair looks like a round helmet. Like silly round, can I give myself those layers at home or is it too risky? It's just hair so it will grow, but I'm quite sad to not have the movement and whispiness of this hairstyle (I can't go back to the salon, I left the country). Many thanks :)

Yes! Coarser hair types my need a little more fine tuning with layering but this style is definitely achievable!
It looks like you took more dramatic forward diagonal partings in the back then on top is that right?
Hi Tamara! Yes, that's right. We're using somewhat of a straight/square length with a slight over direction. Decreasing the diagonal as we go up the head helps keep the over direction minimal and preserves the length.

Hi Penchan! The first section was not twisted. We created a diagonal forward sectioning and then cut a straight/square length with no tension.
