I don’t know if he makes it look easy, or is just an amazing teacher, but after watching this I feel like I can confidently cut someone’s hair. Thanks for the informative video!
I felt very uneasy about hair cutting (I’m a cosmo student) because once you cut that’s it. There’s no going back 😂 this video has brought me A LOT of ease. So easy to understand. I take my basics final tomorrow and hopefully this helps on the cutting portion. THANK YOU! ♥️💕
@@NMW80 I passed! And for the first 2 weeks of being on the floor they ONLY gave me haircuts lol so I’m definitely a lot more comfortable with hair cutting. At this point I’ve done haircuts, manicures, pedicures, perms, prom do’s, facials and eyebrow waxes.

I liked your format, the plan, the way you describe each step. Easy-to understand and copy. Also, your voice is unique and very enjoyable to listen to. I hope we see more of you!
literally such a good video. I have zero idea what to do with my hair and have resorted to just using wigs, and I wanted to learn how to cut hair. Percfect video for learning ^w^
So relaxing to watch, i wish i had him to cut my hair had a MAJOR hair trauma and really need a good cut also want something different to my normal cuts. One can dream
Thank you !!! I've been trying to find easily understandable hair cutting info that is not filled with superfluous detail/ knowledge that mostly confuses a viewer instead of teaching select techniques that stand a chance of being retrieved by my brain when it's needed. Thanks for not dragging out overly technical descriptions to tell us why to do it each of the ways & for telling me how to cut hair right, from it's most basic knowlege level. Hopefully now I won't leave funky jagged thick edges at the bottom of my hair, bulky triangular shapes on the sides of my head (so that my hair lays like a helmet) or obviously screwed up random divots instead of nice layers. (LOL All my past sins upon my own hair.) Many videos show someone cutting another's hair (or a mannequn's) but don't explain (in easily understandable visuals or words): a) the different WAYS you can CUT a section of hair b) how the DIRECTION the section is HELD IN when you cut, in relation to the head, c) & how much TENSION it's held with, will effect the resulting cut. You've made it clear for me what results from each cutting technique. So, if I temporarily lose my mind again (in a moment of hair disgust) & end up hacking away at my hair, there's a far better chance it won't look like a 3 year old did it to me.✂✂✂
@@KenraProfessional No problem, THANK YOU for the work of making it and the time & work it must have taken to learn all that yourself , so you could help us understand better. Great job !!

I love it can u tell me the finger position and for which cutting have to take diagonal , vertical or horizontal i am learning hairdressing i have diploma but cause of lockdown i m not working yet so can u tell me slowly ple
Hi Pavithrah! Your fingers will ultimately be parallel with the direction in which you are cutting to create those lines of softness or shape. Horizontal typically gives a blunt shape or length, whereas diagonal or vertical methods create softness and layers. We hope this helps!
