    Love it great cut, can it be done with wavy hair, sometimes frizzy!?

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  Рік тому +3

      Yes, just be careful when removing weight with a texturizing shear. You wouldn't want to remove too much it may cause more frizz.

    • @ellendevinehair
      @ellendevinehair Рік тому +2

      Absolutely! Try using a blunt shear to carve out some weight instead of a texture shear! I love our Sam Villa streamline series shears a lot for that!

    How wide is the round brush for the soft waves ? I have midium light thickness of hair... With bangs that tend to fall in my face.. My hair thickness looks exactly like the hair on the mannequin head .

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  Рік тому +1

      Ellen used our 1.5" Thermal Round Brush. That size or the 1" would be great for bangs: www.samvilla.com/collections/round-brushes/products/thermal-styling-brush

      I would recommend that you locate a Redken Artist in your area. Most Redken Artists have attended extensive training with myself or with the techniques that I use. They are highly skilled and they will be able to help with your hair / any hair challenges!

    Is this a good cut for hair really thick hair or will a lot of weight need to be removed?

    • @samvillahair
      @samvillahair  Рік тому

      Yes! The layering would help round out weight in the perimeter, you might want to increase the weight removal texturizing technique however based on density

    • @ellendevinehair
      @ellendevinehair Рік тому +1

      Totally! You may get more of a triangle shape with thick hair. I like to detach the nape area in this situation. You can cut that short, even finger length and the bob floats over it! 😊

    that little finger movement and overdirection at the front of the face really clicked.
