  • Wool socks are warm, soft, and absorbent, so they keep your feet warm and dry, which is important in the colder months. Besides being an excellent insulator, wool absorbs and wicks moisture, ensuring you stay warm and dry whether you work in the office, garden, or sports. Winter socks aren’t just for outdoor use, either.

Heat = sweat = moisture = cold. The truth is it is next to impossible to keep feet dry and warm in the winter time no matter what you do because your feet will sweat no matter what.

@@Big_AlMC no I live in Northern B.C Canada and anyone who lives in the north or has feet and is human and who is active outdoors knows that feet sweat stupid. I guess you don't have feet. The only way to keep your feet dry and warm is with wool socks and moisture barriers and wool liners in boots and changing socks and footware when you stop moving and ventilation in clothing and regulating your body temperature to minimize sweating. No matter what you will get warm and being warm = sweat and when a human beingbstops moving in 40 below with a layer of sweat on their body and their clothes they will get cold. The only material that retains body heat when it's wet is wool.
