I have a small pair of binoculars I use looking at Satelites. My 15 x 70 I use to look at barges and boats at the river. And I have a pair of 25 x70 to look at deer etc. They are heavy but very good. I would like to have the pair of the Canon.

Nilet are crap. I just bought it, hooked it up to the battery, and I'll get more light with a Bic lighter. Amazon writeup says the light bar with the two pods has a total of 600w. That means the wires should be 6ga, while the actual wire is about 16ga. I pulled the fuse cover and its a 15 amp fuse instead of a 50amp. I guess it could be ok for my backhoe or tractor, but not for night driving where there are a lot of deer. I already killed a cub bear, and am pretty disturbed by it. Poor little bastard.

Well this is all good. The big problem for me is you are all talking about small backpacks suited for 1 person 1-3 day hikes. Im usually going out and about with my kid 13 yo.. Since he cant really have any weight in his back i need to carry more of the load. And for a longer 3+ hike 60-65 is just not good enough. And i dont know what to buy of the larger. I think im looking for 85-95L. Im scared to buy some cheap stuff that rips first hike. Or is it like so that no company have built a good qaulity but affordable bigger backpack? To i look for military surplus?
