For what it's worth, regarding the heating elements on top of the sock. This is where your veins are running through your feet closer to your skin, you're then heating not only the skin of your foot, but your blood flowing through your body somewhat as well, which could help your feeling of overall warmth.
I own similar models to the viceplus and autocastle. For the autocastle, I initially thought not having the warming element on the bottom of the toes was going to be a deal breaker, but as long as you are wearing boots, it still keeps the toes warm.
Great job reviewing the socks. Especially liked the FLIR coverage of the tips of the socks and the duration test. Also, if you do more in the future, its nice to see how high up they come and where the battery is placed. This is important if you wear ski boots or such.
Very informative. Four years ago, I bought a pair from Amazon for $37. All of the ones tested here are probably better. The ones I have are just barely adequate, but I'm too stingy to replace them.
Thanks for this useful review. 1. Do you know how to wash this kind of sock without breaking the electrical heat things inside? 2. Are they all free size?
I like your videos. One thing I noticed with this video, is the audio. In certain scenes, your voice is much quieter than the other louder scenes. Regardless, thank you for your videos appreciate it I love flashlights, much as you do!
Opinions from anyone: Regardless of the brand, would you say that because heated socks require you to wear the battery pack, are they comfortable enough to sleep with/lounge in? I understand they're probably more directed to winter sports and activities, but are they uncomfortable for just being around the house? Also, are they easy to wash? Thanks:)
@gracewilcox9117 I use heated socks solely for lounge purposes and they are great. I'm actually wearing a pair now while I lay here and watch tv. They are especially nice on the airplane!
Firstly, how would you like someone shooting at you when you're unarmed - as a veteran, I didn't like it. Secondly as a supercilious wart, you're de facto uncapable of realizing you are one. HOWEVER, conducting an extremely methodological comparison will benefit millions of people with Raynaud's.
having to work outdoors in Wyoming where it easily hits -60f, ive found its my toes that are impacted most by the cold. im thinking viceplus would be my choice. even low heat would make a world of difference in this extreme cold and to monitor the setting from my phone would be extremely convenient. winters almost over now. steady 30f most days so this will probably be a purchase i make towards next winter.
This video review is WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED! Exellent job with ACTUAL TESTS THAT MATTER! Make more videos my friend!
We need more videos with Matt.

What were you a veteran from?
My grandfather used electricity to cure a leg problem in the 1950's. These socks could have come in handy.

Buy in summer, they'll be cheaper 😊
