@@theredscourge it is indeed about automation. Doing stuff on the fly, or repeating stuff is a world of difference. Walking for instance is doing a bunch of things at once and it is truly baffling we - as animals, can master such a thing. Just the way the eye works in combination with the body is amazing. Anyway, walking, even standing, or moving limbs takes a baby years to master... I don't think about balance, taking steps, where my leg is right now, etc. A baby is still amazed about the flappy things moving arund in front of him. Most people and specifically males tend to want to focus on the 1 task, which is preferable while there is no automation - let's say before doing something around 5.000-10.000 times. It becomes second nature, specifically when you are very aware of what you are doing at the time, i.e. paying attention. And still, focus is the wiser path. I've seen many people, also MrLama, screw up when something 'unexpected' happened: there are always exceptions to the rule. You see the same in traffic and at work. Accidents waiting to happen and they happen in an instant.
I love watching this, it was so intense!! My playthrough on my first char in season 2 took me the whole weekend so I‘m nowhere near this efficiency, but it‘s really fun to watch you as a group!

I'm annoyed that MrLlamaSC seems to be noncommittal with his group and that they mentioned that he doesn't practice with them very much. Would be great if he can be top notch and well integrated next time!

hes too low level cause he stopped killing things at 26 so he cant get credit - but if someone in the game is in worldstone when baal dies and completes the quest it counts group wide (so all 7 of them qualify) -- then llaama tele's in hell at like lvl 30 lmao
aye dude, have you put a HoJ, dual dragons, and a flickering flame on an A3 fire merc? Is it any good? I assume that paired with Tesladin running that sweet sweet conviction should be a pretty solid combo for instant screen clear. -30-35% enemy fire resist from HoJ and FF should already be pretty damned helpful I'd suspect, plus they shoot fire so it sounds like a win/win, but does it actually suck or rock?
i think gear that grants a constant aura effect needs to have the same level as another item in order to stack, and i dont think tesladin gets stacking from their merc. also most monsters in hell are fire immune, so negative enemy fire res wont work, and conviction is often not enough to break it
they have very deliberate character builds so they know what their jobs are, they've probably got a paladin with conviction aura to stick with the sorcs/trapsins, perhaps a summon necro for meat shields, curses, barb and druid for HP boost, etc
Are there any guides for what these guys do on restart, like with info on what team members should go where. When I've been on reset team, it never moves anything like this.
You need to watch llama's speedrunning guides like map hack your brain. They're all speedrunners who have speedran 8 man ubers many times. I wouldn't count on finding some group of random people remotely close to as efficient as them.
There’s new terror zones that have been implemented this ladder. They buff monsters in a random zone for an hour and are excellent to farm xp past lvl 94(i think?). He farmed em 18 hours a day on players 8 for like 90+ hours
@@andyrousseau6542 The streamers etc are taking it way more seriously (the race to 99) because there's more hype around the game. Before TZ record was like 130 hours, after TZ it was like 105 hours or something like that. So faster, but not all that big of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Much easier for the average joe to level though, as having a team make games and clear chaos or baal for you to kill over and over is pretty ridiculous. Much better now that you can just run TZ in players 8 games for great exp.
@@andyrousseau6542 90-99 was always hard because the highest level of a standard monster in hell is 85, and you lose most of the XP when you're 5 levels or more higher than them. Eventually, the only thing that gives you any noticeable XP are Diablo and Baal. Terror Zones change all that though, suddenly everything gives reasonably close to standard XP even at the high levels
Wish my homies wanted to play and be better like this. We got to nightmare and they quit. Now I ladder season 3 alone 😢 I’ve never felt so shitty about my skill level on this game. I am ashamed 😅
if you extract the game files you can do this, but you need to re-do it every time they release a game update. I think he has a video showing how to do this, but it takes up like another 100GB or something

One suggestion I have is to split up when doing cows, 2 groups of 4 (different parties) going different directions, more efficient cleaning and xp imo

its bad. need the synergy. just having the skills does nothing. otherwise any character in the game could run it
