Thanks for this review. I wanted options to shoot cheaper and was eyeing a Sig P322, but I also need practice on my EDC, the G26, so this conversion kit seems the best option. Earned a sub. Keep up the great vids!
If this kit works and works reliably, I'd say it still has a place in this world - even after Glock released the G44. It costs less than a G44, doesn't require registration like the G44, and, since my state won't allow anything newer than Gen 3 Glocks, something I can legally buy.
It has been much better than the G44 for me. I like using my frame set up for my production gun. Other manufacturers have really stepped up in the 22LR market, Glock is behind the curve.
Hey Papa D, i stumbled across this video after a weekend of plinking with a .22mag. You have definitely convinced me to get a conversion kit now. Where is your range located in south LA? public/private?
Good Afternoon, Thanks for watching, In 30 miles north of Baton Rouge. This is my private backyard range, I teach CCW and Personal Defense classes. I've been building it for about 9 years, a little at a time.
I was talking to a coworker that the next evolution for glock as a company is to offer a 22lr g26 in gen 3 and 5 configurations or simply make their own drop in conversion slides/kit. Glock you sell gas you gotta keep it moving like these new co. tho complacency ruins anything in sales
I have many training rounds through this set up, The 22LR handgun market has exploded with new guns due to the price of ammo, I like the use of my EDC grip and trigger action in practice, Thanks for Watching
Well I have good news. I just got back from the range and used my new 25 round mag and some cci meat eater .22's. 36 grn. I tried a new method of loading the mags and happy to report only 1 failure to feed out 100 rounds.. Super happy now.
@@russdennis7026 That's Great news, I know on my Tippmann M4-22 mags, I have to make sure the top round rim is forward of the bottom round rim. It will not feed, because it hangs on the bottom round rim if loaded wrong. Glad it works for you!
@@PaPaDsRangeTimeWatts I really think the mags like the mag loader that comes in the box. It's hard for me to explain what I'm doing but it works. Thank God. My wife is going to be very happy.
Love my Glock 26 LR kit but after awhile it's been having a problem trigger is stiff and pulls the slide back and won't shoot because it's out of battery tried cleaning it same problem the lower doesn't have any problems with my factory Glock upper
I had a heavy build up in my firing pin channel that gave me fits, the firing pin is removed just like a center fire model. Advantage Arms has a good customer Service department that may be worth a call to. Keep me updated on what you find, so I can pass along the info. Thanks for Watching
They helped me with it and I looked a little more close and found my recoil spring to be a little worn out I have two 26 upper kits other just been sitting in the safe so I switched the spring and lubed her up and she just as new gonna order a new spring for it later
Start with ammo, it likes a faster FPS, 1250 and up. Move to a benchrest shooting, this will tell you if you are taking away the energy it needs to cycle. Supporting the wrists and only moving your trigger finger has helped me find problems. Lube the gun, 22LR is dirty, the oil is good to make it cycle and bad that it holds debris. I hope this helps, I have found value in this product. Thanks for watching
I run A LOT of rounds through my TX22, NO malfunctions. The Advantage Arms is very nice, but I would not buy them again with the current dedicated 22LR options out there. Thanks for watching
@@josephzenos781 Some models of AA had sighting issues, I had one shooting low by 8" at 15 yards, I went through several sight combinations to find something that is "point of aim". You are not able to put a red dot on AA, the extra weight will not let it cycle. Finding the ammo it likes is also a challenge in these "ammo shortage" times. Higher speed, 1200 fps, and faster works better.
I don’t have a gen 5 platform to try it on. I don’t think it will, there are different models for gen 3 and Gen 4. Maybe the gen 4 model will, Advanage Arms has good customer service, an email to them may give you the information you seek. Thanks for watching
I was wondering if the 25rd mags work well on the Glock 26 I have one but it only has a 10rd mag been wanting to get a 25rder but don’t know if it’s going to fit

Thank You for watching, I've heard good things on the P322, but I prefer running what I carry. It works well for me.

Would think a g26 in 22lr would be a no brainer but apparently not. Surprised Glocks only 22lr is the 44. 26 size in 22lr is a perfect match imo
Cool. 😎
Just found this. I'm going to get this for my g19.

@@YnnekStoner thanks for the update.
Hello Papa D like the idea. what would be a fair price for conversion kit plus 3 magazines(slightly used)
Its hard to say what market value is, I would think in the ballpark of $300-$350. Thanks for watching
I just got one 2 weeks ago. Paid just over $300 with 2 10 round mags.
Runs excellent with mini mags.
Mine was jamming nonstop, not ejecting correctly or something. Any suggestions?
