This advice is from a Glock Armourer: Use brake cleaner to clean out the firing pin channel. Do not use lubricant; it will gum up the channel. Brake cleaner will evaporate. I had to do this on my Gen 2 Model 19 & now the firing pin rattles like a new babies' toy!!
I have this conversion and really enjoy it. My question is this: I cannot remove the magazine with the slide closed, it must be locked back to change magazines. Is this normal? Thanks, Joe
That is not normal. You should be able to remove the mag with the slide locked into battery. Reach out to Advantage Arms. They should be able to assist you with your problem.
I have a different cleaning regiment for my rimfire pistols. I generally clean them once I start having reliability issues. Not necessarily the best policy… My center fires get cleaned frequently.
Thank you. Appreciate the helpful info and advice.
Would have liked if you showed close-up of the details as you were demonstrating.
I will try to do that soon. Been pretty busy the past month.
Pipe cleaners work great for cleaning out the striker channel. Great video that should fix a lot of peoples issues.
That’s a good tip. Thanks for the input.

@@BehindTheTrigger0 I also sprayed my ammo with WD-40 that AA recommends & had a lot less cycling problems; & that's using Federal 1200 FPS ammo!

So no info anywhere how to replace the extractor spring on the earlier models, emailed them hopefully they will take care of that issue
Not at the moment
Thanks for an informative video.
You're welcome
@@BehindTheTrigger0 How is accuracy?
Thank you, sir.
Your welcome
You mean you don’t clean the striker channel every time you shoot it? Am I the only one that does that?

When you take the screw out it turns it full auto lol
Lol
does it work the same way on gen 5 ones? :/
I think the person was being a smart a** about taking the screw out. There is no way to make the conversion full auto.
Can I have one of those medals ? :)
