So my two favourite youtubers finally (?) make a video together, and for the first half, hardly get to talk to each other! Great video, mate, you two have inspired this 64 year old, post Prostate cancer old man to get into a canoe, and back under canvas: thank you so much!! Can't tell you how much I enjoyed this, you need to go on the water together.
Great vid mate. best two guys ont'tinternet. Your comments "off the floor" takes me back to our home town of Cardiff & the legendry Caroline street (chippy lane) Dorothy's off the bone chicken curry&chips or Off the floor & chips. You're looking more like the dude from the big lebowski every time.
Awesome weekend dude! Thank you! You captured it all perfectly from the squelch in the clag to sally the slug and good times around the fire - til next time mate!
Go to the Polish section of chilled meats in Tesco, look for the hotdog looking things, 13 in a pack, they're made from chicken. Fry them in some oil and whack em in your noodles or just chop em up and whack 'em in. It's a game changer, and they're like £2 for 13 of them. They're usually near where you'd find ham/precooked chicken/salami etc Plus they store really well, so are excellent for camping/out in the wild.
Hey, we do have some good views in East Anglia! Beeston Bump, Muckleburgh, the cliff walk from Cromer to Overstrand and plenty more. If you think there’s no climbs, try cycling up Gas Hill in Norwich (the Gas Hill Gasp is an annual challenge). I always think it’s Cambridgeshire that’s really flat. Great videos guys.
I loved how the demographic changed after the bottle of red wine. Proper giggly just what you need around a campfire. It just goes to show how different the weather can make your trip out, but making the most of it is what it’s all about. I’ve been stuck indoors for the last week with pneumonia and catching up on a load of the videos from all the UA-camrs really cheered me up. Nice, one, Craig, nice one Simon. Catch you out there soon 😊👊🔥
There's been quite a few of these "collaborations" videos on a few of the channels I watch... and I must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them... 2 for 1 innit bro!! 😂. Another beltahhh mate. Cheers Keepin' it Cosmic..... Si X
What an adventure, tried wild camping for the first time after watching yours and some other videos and I haven't looked back, thanks for such genuine content!
Craig, Good collaborative video. About time you did a vid with Simon. It would be nice to see a canoeing collaboration vid in the future. All the best. Dan
My friend showed me your video and i gotta say you're my new favourite content creator on here. Im also local to thetford. My missus said shenused to serve you in the pub when you went to the pool nights and said you are a really genuine lad 👌
wow you guys make the perfect camping buddies. you both are so down to earth, both know what needs to be and it gets done. a rather beautiful video to watch and not just for the scenery. 👍👍👍👍
Hello Craig good to see you teaming up with Simon. The Peaks can be a harsh environment. Glad your woodland camp had better weather and some Great Food. Dave B Thailand.
I bought a little yellow Garmin GPS many years ago after a walk on Bleaklow was aborted due to fog (or low cloud). Unless following a path you can be all over the place trying to pick a route through the peat bogs. In bad weather you could easily lose your position. I took some friends up there and at the start they were laughing at the extra gear I was carrying. Within an hour the extra waterproofs had been borrowed and shortly thereafter we were all sat in my bothy bag and my flask of coffee got drunk. The only thing not used was the sleeping bag I was carrying in case an accident left someone unable to walk.
Great video! Lovely to see you two chaps together. Always chilled AF. Glad the second days camp turned out well for you both. Sausage n mash looked gooood!! Cheers 👌 🏕 🍻
28:10-2820 Thank you for the near perfect fry up ( you forgot the fried bread 🤭) . But since I stopped eating pork and dairy I've missed a fryup so hard 😔 This is THE perfect VR English breakfast made the best way ❤
Love you 2 guys know your stuff and always seem happy even when the going is tough.Craig by the way is the spitting image of my brotherJames and always good for a laugh.I have been an outdoors man for 50 years and a lot off whatyou both do and say is great info.for new people to take in and learn.Have just completed my camper van conversion and had a 3 day cycle expedition with comfort as i am getting on now but still love to rough it .All the best from Scotland lads!
Yes lad, if you push the cork in the bottle then use a piece of paracord tie a knot in the end. Push it in the bottle once the knot is under the cork, you should be able to pull the cork out.
Oh dudes I'm gutted that our Northern weather wasn't playing ball for you both. Least you got some views in the morning pal. Haha, made me laugh when you waved at the green tent 😅. Yeah woodland camps are definitely my favourite Craig, the homily fire to just sit round and shoot the breeze, can't beat it. Omg! The food Simon cooked at night! What a bowl full! Loved it pal, thanks.
Just found your channel through Simon. I've been watching your videos and I'm really enjoying them. I've always been an outdoor enthusiast and although my best days are behind me, watching videos like yours and Simon's bring back some of the old feeling and reverence for nature! Well done!
I've been waiting for you two to finally get a video done together! Glad you did a two nighter and got to eat and drink around the fire as well, not just shout between tents in the wind and rain on a big hill!
Yours and Simon's channels are my 'go to' evening watching whenever you post a film. Fantastic to see you meet up. Excellent video, thanks. I was last on Kinder in 1980! When I set out on the Pennine Way when I was 18. All the best.
The view when you walk down from the hill look amazing that would have been a great video, i guess i have to hop on my bicycle one day and go in that direction. Your videos is such an inspiration to watch and some day i might sleep outside too. ⛺
Take off your shoe, put bottom end of wine bottle in shoe, and slap it against a tree/wall. The air pressure of the fluid moving around in the bottle pushes the cork upwards, do this till you've got enough to grab onto and then you can pull the rest out. Failing that, heat up the neck of the wine bottle, the warm air in the bottle pushes the cork upwards and results in the same ending.
Great video, really enjoyed the variety of hiking and campsites. Been a fan of Simon’s channel for some time, and appreciate Craig’s skills and good nature as well. Hopefully, we’ll see you two meet up again. Count me as a new subscriber Craig! Cheers from the United States.
Absolutely love this video craig glad you decided to put the bits in when you were a bit wavey!!! It is proper genuine absolute shagtastic video bravo that man!💪 and Simon is a ledge too loved that bangers and mash looked banging!
I Say Old Chaps! Received your transmission and ruddy splendid to see you decent Chaps out behind enemy lines and on the Home front. ♨️ Thanks awfully for the transmission and Squadron Leader sends his very best regards! 🙏♨️🇬🇧💯
Came here from Simon's channel. Looks like I'm gonna stay for a while. That supper looked so delicous. In terms of saws lately I've been fond of a pocket chainsaw (with the proper chain not a wire one) for cutting firewood. Seem to be doing the job faster than my laplander. I'll keep the laplander for precise work though.
Dude this one got me absoluty marvin with the bangers and mash! Just got up after a night shift, watched ur awsome vid now gonna go aldi and get some potatoes and bangers!😂 👌
Such a great video, love the drunken nonsense aswel, you proper crack me up Craig 😅 two of my favourite camping UA-camrs 👌🏼 looks like you had such a laugh on the second night. Top blokes 👍🏻

Guys that was epic, two of my fav Celebes together in my neck of the woods. I wish I had stumbled across you I wouldn’t have believed it.
🍺
Great video as always Craig! 2 legends together for sure. You all need to do a legends community camp. That would be "pucker"!
Yes lad, if you push the cork in the bottle then use a piece of paracord tie a knot in the end. Push it in the bottle once the knot is under the cork, you should be able to pull the cork out.
👏🏽💜🤙🏽

Seeing you two together made me smile, decent work chaps,
Posh bugger wine with a Cork!😅
I have a rule, I don't buy wine unless it has a proper cork, not a plastic cork but a cork cork, no screw caps allowed.
Good to see you two together. Pity the Peak District venture was a wet one. Back in the woods again and a good all round video Craig
Yours and Simon's channels are my 'go to' evening watching whenever you post a film. Fantastic to see you meet up. Excellent video, thanks. I was last on Kinder in 1980! When I set out on the Pennine Way when I was 18. All the best.
