Claire, a word about strong wind: Places that look sheltered can be deceptive. The higher you go, the stronger the wind is likely to be. Also, any solid structure that reaches high above ground will disrupt the higher-speed airflow up there, pulling it down to the ground, and then sideways. This is where those sudden, random gusts come from. You can demonstrate this on a windy day by walking in an urban area among high-rise buildings. At some point, close to a tall building, you are likely to get near blown off your feet. Yet on the same day, out in the open, whilst the wind might be strong, it won't be so overpowering, more likely steady, and from a stable direction. On this trip you made a special effort to reach those rocks up on high, in order to reach shelter. Drawn like a magnet, this might have been the worst place to pitch! Compounding matters, those rocks had gaps between them, and you pitched in line with a gap funnelling the wind right at you. It seems something similar happened at Cnicht. You chose a place high up, next to a vertical rock outcrop for shelter. While pitching, a huge blast took your hat for walkies. Next shot, another blast hit you from the opposite direction. This was a sign of downdraughts and turbulence, whether from the rock wall, or the mountain. In both cases, it might have been better camping at lower level, away from rocks or structures that could play tricks with the wind. Trees and bushes filter the wind rather than blocking it completely, so just tend to reduce its intensity, but come with their own problems. Hope that helps.

Hi Claire, I discovered your Channel a few months ago & I've been catching up on your videos ever since. Wow, you are SO Inspirational, the love you have for life shines out of you & the joy you show for the beautiful world around you is infectious. I would love to get out into the world, do some trekking, camping & Wild Swimming but until now a back & leg injury have held me back. I'm so hoping I'm now on the mend & your videos are keeping me inspired & motivated to keep working towards my goal of doing a little of what you do. Thank you so so much for keeping me inspired & motivated, your videos have & are helping me so much. You are such a lovely person too, so gentle & authentic & real. Stay safe, lots of love Rachel.
I absolutely love your debriefs! So much learned in one short video! The outright honesty of your channel is refreshing, I’m finding watching blokes they are just a lot less happy to reveal what they struggled with and probably would have never admitted to spending so long setting up a tent or having to need a plan B. Slowly working my way through your videos and so far I’ve loved them all x
Just a bit more than half way through watching these videos and I am really enjoying them. I especially liked the one where it didn't rain. Oh wait, that was someone else. Anyway I am still enjoying the videos you are putting out and I am looking forward to the ones to come. Should be caught up by the end of the month. You are a real inspiration to kids as an example of determination and how to find happiness in achivements.
I love that you’re always so positive and upbeat and don’t catastrophize. This is supposed to be fun, but there will be challenges and you keep finding these stunning places. Living your best life. Your videos are so refreshing and interesting and just lovely.

Your " will to succeed " kicked in to overdrive on this one Claire. Tenacity usually overcomes adversity and in your treks it works every time. Beautiful district and scenery fabulous waterfall a camp you'll never forget for all the right reasons. Onwards and upwards to the next spectacular adventure girl. Bushyboy Oz.
You may not have a waterfall like that near you but watching PCT Class of 2022 I see the beautiful and diverse countryside you have. It's a bit like the AT here all year round. But yes, it is beautiful and thanks to Claire I have started hiking myself. She is a great inspiration.
Awesome Lady. Certainly merits a mini-series on mainstream TV. As a female Mum, Presenter, Outdoors enthusiast/expert and encouraging figure for others, inc girls to put their phones down and get some boots on, she’d be an absolute winner.
Life's toughest challenges make the greatest stories. I never doubted you would do it. Proud of you Claire. Keep exploring and never give up. Your the best. Eric
WOW. Your determination is amazing and very impressive. Watching that I was so stressed not being able to help you. You definitely learned from the experience and it will only make you stronger. Listening to your thoughts at the end was very inspirational. Best wishes from OZ.
You’re certainly gaining experience. I’ve watched quite a few of your videos and I think it would be fair to say every one of your previous trips made you able to get through this one. Tough shift, this one. You’re not a quitter. Just remember when to quit though! Sometimes that’s the right option.
I've been wild camping up around there and, yeah, it's really tough going off-piste in those pete bogs with all that heather. What makes it even more tiring is the bleakness of the landscape as you pointed out, AND the fact that you have to constantly be aware a wrong foot somewhere could equal a broken ankle
Claire! That was an amazing little journey! It went from joyously happy to quite serious in a moment. I know you were exasperated, but you were also tenacious and I admire that in you. Earlier I had seen your post on insta and I thought, ‘well this will be an interesting vlog’. Looming forward to your next adventure!
Hi Jimmy! Ahh thanks, yeh I was totally exasperated, I was preparing myself for the worst when I was fighting with that tent, thinking it wasn't gonna go up and I'd have to shelter under a rock for the night. Thanks for sharing this lil trip with me, hope you're having a great week :D 🌿 Claire 🐻
5:18 Might be a good idea to tie up a guy line to your backpack in heavy wind, until you got it fixed with pegs. Unless you want it to fly away :) Check out Hilleberg’s videos, they do a nice job on explaining how to pitch in windy conditions.
Well done taming that tent! I love watching these videos. There's a joy in aloneness, even when the going gets tough and we feel as miserable as hell. Nature is such a good metaphor for life, sometimes stormy, sometimes joyous and always unpredictable.
It’s always tough pitching a tent in high winds, especially finding’s the right place to pitch it. I always take a few of the screw in pegs that I can use as an extra level of wind protection to make me feel a bit more secure when it’s needed. It’s worth reading the two books of the first unsupported crossing of Antarctica by both Ran Fiennes and Mike Stroud. It makes putting up a tent in winds seem easy compared to the storms they needed to do it
Ooo such a good idea about screw pegs! I might get a few of those thank you :D I bet anything seems easy after the real deal kinda stuff like that.. love an adventure read Thanks for watching my lil vid :) have a great weekend 🌿🐻
@@WildBeare Mike Stroud has also written a book called ‘survival of the fittest: understanding health and peak physical performance’. It’s a worthwhile read as he talks about injuries, hypothermia and hyperthermia, dehydration and so on, and how to spot them in yourself and others as well as talking about the adventures he’s done. It’s also quite funny in places
When the wind really wants to know why she is there...buffet the tent...make me start a worry but not. Your poetic words paint a vivid picture of a tent being buffeted by the wind, evoking a sense of wonder and a touch of apprehension. It's as if the wind is curious, questioning the presence of the tent in its domain. This kind of natural interaction often leads to a mix of emotions - a little worry stirred by the power of nature, but also a sense of awe at its sheer force and beauty. It's a reminder of how we are a part of nature's grand tapestry, sometimes at its mercy, yet always in the midst of its splendor. Thanks for the camp among the hills and wind...
Oh really, thanks so much! I had a bit of a mare with the wind noise & some mic interference so I'm glad it wasn't too annoying 🙂 Have a great week! :D Claire 🐻
The wind howlin, ages to pitch the tent, rain fallin, tired, exasperated but that did not matter! Our Claire Beare persevered and showed us all how it's done. Expect the unexpected in all situations and always have a backup plan. Thank you for yet another amazing video
I can’t imagine your frustration with the wind and the tent especially after a not so easy hike. You obviously prevailed and had a great event to tell us about 👍🙏🤗🎩
Thanks Jon, ahh man it was so frustrating, I was really thinking I was gonna have to hide under a rock all night instead 😄 Hope you're having a lovely week :) 🌿 Claire 🐻
An absolute Delight, this video. I could not imagine being there and I kept wondering if you would be blown away in the night. Fortunately you were still there in the morning. I was on a mountain years ago and lightning was unbelievable. Scary, but worth it. Thanks for the adventures.
Claire, what more can I say apart from, I’m running out of superlatives to describe your courage, tenacity, positivity and inspiration. Your amazing feats of defiance leave me awestruck, with your ability to turn a negative into a positive. You battled the elements there kid, overcame your fear of heights, and conquered what was an unexpected weather front. Lesser folk would have crumbled. If I were to be stuck in the middle of nowhere with just the basics, I’d feel a lot safer with you around. You just ooze pure class and take everything in your stride. Enjoy the rest of your week and your weekend Claire, and thank you for taking us on one of your wonderful adventures again. 🐻
Ahh you are so lovely and too kind! Thank you so much :) I am fond of this one although at the time I was getting quite exasperated with it 😄 Thank you for sharing this lil trip with me and hope you have a lovely weekend too :D 🌿🐻

Wow! You are a really persistent, victorious, survivor, warrior lady! Congratulations! 💪💟
You’re an absolute legend and inspiration my lovely wild friend! I’m so proud of you for getting to your waterfall and that area did look beautiful! Open moorland walking can feel never ending can’t it?! I really felt for you with all that wind, it’s the worst element for me, so hard to battle against and just leaves you exhausted! So glad the Lanshan held its own in those tough conditions, at least it did you proud that night! Lovely vid as always, and loved the voiceover at the end. Fab 💕💕
Heyy Pink Lady! Ahh thank you so much, you are too kind bless you 🤗 The moor was brutal 😄 just.. no escaping it is there. Wind is the worst for me too, I find it really antagonising! Give me a downpour instead of wind any day I was quite proud of my lil Lanshan, he did good 😍 once I got him up 😄 Thanks for sharing this lil trip with me, hope all went well this eve :D much love 💚🌿🐻
"Always expect the unexpected". These are the words I shall remember when I do my first wild camp, with my partner (who is a lot more experienced than myself), I've only been on two camping trips so far and I loved it so much. I just can't wait to wild camp and see the sunset and sunrise and those beautiful views!❤️ Your videos are awesome, keep it up!😊❤️❤️
It's little 'challenges' like these that make the experience that little bit sweeter at the end. You will never feel more alive than when you are millimetres from death. Testing ones resolve in such circumstances will only ever make you stronger. Well done you.
Great Adventure and a fascinating insight into the difficulties of pitching a tent in strong winds & unpredictable terrain. Really enjoyed your Peak District Adventure
Great video, looks like Bleaklow gave you the traditional welcome it usually hands out to people! The Peak District is like my back garden and it's very amusing when heading up Bleaklow 'it's a good day for it' a passing hiker will mutter, you have to just chuckle and simply know it's not going to be up top! The place you camped is probably one of the best up there, at least it provides the odd bit of shelter Middle Black Clough is also one of the more impressive waterfalls we have up here, so that was nice that you saw it! Your editing is exceptional as always, thankyou for the video, hope you had a great time up here, come again soon! 😀 👍
👍👍👍 Any Outdoor Excursion that one walked away from and got back home safely was (perhaps not at the time .. but rather later in retrospect) a good one. "Life is like a Box of Chocolates" .. etc .. A Plan B is always a good thing 😊. Strange though, it's those Trips that remain with one .. and gives one the most enjoyment in sharing with others. Looking at that Breeze .. the Tent performance (and your 'never say die' attitude 😏) seemed to be pretty impressive. Thanks for sharing ..
That’s why we enjoy backpacking. It’s an adventure. A 5 day trip turned into a 3 day for my friend and I. We hit bad weather, water filter broke, and I twisted my knee. Luckily, we found a fire road out. I was back out there 2 weeks later. Love your videos! Stay safe.
Weather which completely defies the forecasters predictions is why I refer to them as weather-guessers, and regard their opinions with skepticism Well played Claire, you have that good old fashioned grit and determination not to be beaten by the seemingly impossible, but tempered with the good judgement of knowing when to bail, which you showed when having a look at the feasibly of climbing out of the gorge. A tricky situation well handled, and having the right gear to ensure your survival if your original plan went belly up. Keep those videos coming girl, they are always a joy to watch. Stay safe n God bless you.
peas in pod beare thanks for you vids . I'm 51 & had two hear attacks recently. & watching you got me into the wild camping you do , that I had not done for 25 years . ❤the freedom of having your home on your back x
Well done Claire for showing your great action video. I;m sure you will remember this adventure for a very long time. Well done and thank you. Stay Safe.
You always remember (fondly) of the times things didn't go to plan. A perfect holiday vanishes in the mists of time. The disasters are the memorable ones. I admire your tenacity. I would probably have set fire to the tent and gone home. Love the Peaks though.
Hi Wild one, well done. Always expect the unexpected and never think you know it all, you will be forever learning. Going back to the video where you forgot your lighter, I always carry a small fero rod and steel. Cheers, Jim.xx
Fab adventure & video. The little Lanshan came up trumps after your previous probs with it. Interesting what you said about the walking pole versus the tent poles. Thanks for taking us on your adventures x
The Peaks often gets underestimated because it’s not as ‘big’ as The Lakes or Snowdonia. But it it is just as beautiful, and will kick your ass equally as hard! There’s so much more of the peaks to explore and I hope you come back and see what it has to offer. Next time you’re here, head to the Hope Valley, it’s a bit more lively and has a bit more to see and do. Great video, hope you come back soon!
Not only the waterfalls beautiful but so are you. I love your adventures because in my younger days my wife and I looked for excuses to camp. Many of are trips were very windy and a challenge also. take care and be safe.
Such beautiful scenery in the beginning of your journey!❤. I would never have wanted to leave. But, wow! How the later part of your journey quickly changed 😳… luckily you persevered and made it out!❤
Another brilliant video. Great quality and footage as usual. And well done for persivering and taking yourself out your comfort zone. All the best for the next one.
Stumbled across your channel. During calm times I must say you have an ASMR voice. I live in Northern California with a 14,000 ft mountain in my front yard. I am impressed with your grit and positive attitude. As an outdoorsman the best piece of advice I can give you is NEVER panic when faced with adverse conditions. Panic leads to poor decision making and will make things worse. Enjoy your adventures and I look forward to more of your videos. Take care.
Bloody brilliant miss beare. Me and my mate ash got are rears kicked on scafell a month or so ago I lost my tent it truly kicked are arse and taught us both valuable lessons. Perseverance and resilience is a gift for those who have it. Well done young lady very impressive.
Hi Claire, you have summed up the Peak District really well, it is so unpredictable thats for sure. I have lived on the edge of it for over half a century and it never seems to amaze me, just one example when I went out for a walk over Brown Knoll towards Kinder Low, I started in bright spring sunshine and as I progressed it rained, then the rain turned to hail and then back to sun, for not long the sun was soon replaced by snow and lots of it and heavy winds, in the space of my 1 to 1.5 mile walk back to the car I was returning in 5" plus of snow that was drifting in the cuts and gulleys, making navigation and following the paths almost impossible. Lucky for me I was prepared and made it back in one piece. I have also visited the middle back clough waterfall, it is a beautiful sight nestled away in the craggy moors. I'm glad I stumbled across your channel, you have a new subscriber 👍😁 ATB Andy
Fantastic video. I did this in 60 knot winds once --- my tent flattened down to my face over an over in the gusts - it was scary and funny. Nice job on your side.
Nice going. That's what its all about. Adapting and perservering to what is thrown at you, especially when you have no other options. You'll remember this experience for both the good and the bad and the lessons learned from it. I enjoyed the video.
Another fantastic video Claire. So sorry to see you had a rough time. I love your perseverance with the tent. Even when things get tough you manage to push through. Such an amazing attitude you have. I love watching your videos. I like to get ideas from you. Keep up with the adventures. Glad you got back safe. ⛺️⛺️
Hi Claire, wow that wind. The weather did change dramatically didn’t it. Your attitude is amazing Claire, your really so resilient. Beautiful surroundings . I’m impressed
hey wildbeare your content is awesome i love watching and living priceriously through you in these beautiful places you visit, i love to get out myself but i dont go far, its amazing to see you enjoying the storms and showing your skills dealing with the extreme conditions you put yourself in. keep doing what your are doing, much love and respect.
Welcome to Derbyshire, it does have its own weather on the tops and can change without warning, well done for taking it in your stride and great advice for carrying extra kit for those just in case episodes, hope you do some more Dark peak or Pennine Way videos, Thanks.
Welcome to the Peak District! I came here in 1973 (I know, before you were born!) for a 6 month course and stayed. There are so many lovely places round here. Bleaklow was a bit of a challenge for a first time though. Well done for getting through it.
Paul Messner country, he's your man for the Peak District. Good effort. I'm pretty pragmatic in my approach to life, expect the worst and hope for the best. My back up now is a hammock, a tarp and a small single tent, I'm going to get more tent pegs though - bigger and more sturdy, my little titanium ones are okay but there's always that time they won't be., I saw those that Gaz & Zoe had on their recent video and they seem sensible.
Oh wow what a night, 😳 your so awesome and brave, it was so much more than you explained to me earlier , well it seemed scarier 😆 , you had some looks I hadn't seen before 😬 I'm so proud of you though !!! You were totally adaptive and conquered it , And so true though to always expect the unexcepted and go out there with that plan and back up gear ! Your such a champion Clarie !!!! That was such a beautiful waterfall with all the moss those things are what sticks with you as well as the sense of accomplishment. You amaze me always and I love how you tell us the stories and bridge the moments of dout with calm and resolve and building of not only your confidence but ours !!! I hope you have a wonderful rest of your week and weekend Wild 🐻 Bear ❤️
Well done. Beautiful. It reminds me of my most horrific camping experience, but fortunately my tent was up prior the wind. Plus there was an Eagle Scout one tent over. In retrospect, I have not been camping since... which needs to be remedied.
Absolutley great to see the struggle, camping in England and wales is not always as glamourous as youtube makes out, but great effort with the tent. another top video. you need to look at getting the flextailgear tiny pump, felt the pain watching you pump up your air matress :)
hi there, i had similar problems awhile ago whilst wild camping in the lakes. I now take a mesh laundry bag with me. I use it to fill with stones and use it as a ground anchor towards the wind so that guy rope wont budge. The bag has the heavier type para cord so it wont break. All in its very light and you are guaranteed one good guy rope which really helps in strong wind. Great channel please keep it up- you are a legend 👍👍
Fantastic video Claire! Many people underestimate the Peak District (guilty myself) Bleaklow is called Bleaklow for a reason.. and there are remnants of planes up there for the same reason! The weather is brutal. The peat bogs are too.. I was knee deep in peat up there the other weekend. Thanks for the great videos!
Love your videos Wildbeare. Never done wild camping but your uploads give me inspiration to take the plunge one day...except this video, which actually inspired me to stay home in the warm 🙂
We go there every year in memory of a good friend that never got to see the waterfall, same path as you took its beautiful up there cant believe its the same place! Love your videos
Excellent video... good for you. You are brave... but inspiring. Thanks for sharing 😊 Can't believe how rugged it is... have never been... and need to kick myself and get there... Can't wait 🙂
Wow Claire, that certainly was a challenge. I have to give it too you for your determination and resolve! It’s definitely good to challenge oneself but also to have the greatest respect for your surroundings and Mother Nature. Glad it all worked out in the end, some dramatic footage and great narration. Stay safe
Great video. This part of the Peak is quite wild and bleak. I always get a "spooky" vibe from the moors around Winscar which you manged to capture on film. Not sure I'd like to spend an evening there.
All part of the learning curve! Knowing your capabilities and limits and knowing when to bail and when you can carry on are really important factors when out in the elements. Good vid, atb Andy

Definitely going to be visiting the peak district... feel silly having never been there.
I fell into a peat hole in that area and smashed my camera a few years ago. It’s easy to lose the path and get lost on those peat bogs.

Life's toughest challenges make the greatest stories. I never doubted you would do it. Proud of you Claire. Keep exploring and never give up. Your the best. Eric
Aw thank you so much Eric 🤗 Hope you're having a great week :) 🌿🐻
Tough one Claire. Well done to you for getting though it... Shows the person you are.. Never giver up a.. 👌😍
I really love your vids, you are so chilled and know what you are talking about. Lovely person, please never change 😊
Thank you for who you are and what you do.
unfortunately there's not enough special people in this crazy world like you.
Thank you.
5:18 Might be a good idea to tie up a guy line to your backpack in heavy wind, until you got it fixed with pegs. Unless you want it to fly away :) Check out Hilleberg’s videos, they do a nice job on explaining how to pitch in windy conditions.
Yep you're right, it's one of those things that I know I should do and often don't, will take a looky, cheers :D
I might get a few of those thank you :D
I bet anything seems easy after the real deal kinda stuff like that.. love an adventure read
Thanks for watching my lil vid :) have a great weekend 🌿🐻
Camerawork and editing are one of the best I've seen so far. Absolutely perfect, great adventure. Tnx! 🤙🏻🔥
Ahh thank you so much, you are too kind bless you 🤗
The moor was brutal 😄 just.. no escaping it is there. Wind is the worst for me too, I find it really antagonising! Give me a downpour instead of wind any day
I was quite proud of my lil Lanshan, he did good 😍 once I got him up 😄
Thanks for sharing this lil trip with me, hope all went well this eve :D much love 💚🌿🐻
@@WildBeare 😂 getting him up is always the tricky part 😂🤣😂😘
Well done you crazy lady and welcome to the peak district my stopping ground. looking forward to your next video.
"Always expect the unexpected". These are the words I shall remember when I do my first wild camp, with my partner (who is a lot more experienced than myself), I've only been on two camping trips so far and I loved it so much. I just can't wait to wild camp and see the sunset and sunrise and those beautiful views!❤️ Your videos are awesome, keep it up!😊❤️❤️
Wow, tough. But the hard times make the best stories we tell about again and again. Well done keeping your wits and achieving your goal.
It's little 'challenges' like these that make the experience that little bit sweeter at the end. You will never feel more alive than when you are millimetres from death. Testing ones resolve in such circumstances will only ever make you stronger. Well done you.
She's always blessed shes very happy ❤❤
Great Adventure and a fascinating insight into the difficulties of pitching a tent in strong winds & unpredictable terrain.
Really enjoyed your Peak District Adventure
Thank you Graham :) Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Claire 🐻
The place you camped is probably one of the best up there, at least it provides the odd bit of shelter
Middle Black Clough is also one of the more impressive waterfalls we have up here, so that was nice that you saw it!
Your editing is exceptional as always, thankyou for the video, hope you had a great time up here, come again soon! 😀 👍
👍👍👍
Any Outdoor Excursion that one walked away from and got back home safely was (perhaps not at the time .. but rather later in retrospect) a good one.
You are amazing Claire. You never give up and always stays positive. You’re an inspiration 😊
That fight with the tent was epic, good on you for sticking with it, i hope the next one goes smoother.
Stay safe.
Weather which completely defies the forecasters predictions is why I refer to them as weather-guessers, and regard their opinions with skepticism
Well played Claire, you have that good old fashioned grit and determination not to be beaten by the seemingly impossible, but tempered with the good judgement of knowing when to bail, which you showed when having a look at the feasibly of climbing out of the gorge.
Stay Safe.
Brilliant your a real survivor it gives me confidence about wild camping watching your content thank you
Love it. Your so cute how you just roll with it with a laugh and a smile. That's the best part that smile of yours. Great scenery and great video.
Wonderful demonstration of perseverance. A credit to you for sticking with it where many would have thrown it in. Thanks for the video and the lesson.
You always remember (fondly) of the times things didn't go to plan. A perfect holiday vanishes in the mists of time. The disasters are the memorable ones. I admire your tenacity. I would probably have set fire to the tent and gone home. Love the Peaks though.
You are a champion young lady, thank you for sharing. Love your work.
But, wow! How the later part of your journey quickly changed 😳… luckily you persevered and made it out!❤
Well done you. It makes for a good memory and hopefully the challenge of the evening makes you more knowledgable in your pursuits. All the best Derek
Wow, what a fantastic video. Your determination really carried you through, real drama watching you put your tent up.
It's a 10 for you, a 10 for your amazing filming, editing and production, and 11 for that little tent.
Haha aww thanks! 🤩 I was certainly proud of my lil Lanshan that night 😄 Have a great week :) 🌿🐻
Welcome to my county, although challenging, I’m glad you enjoyed it Claire. Another top vid, thank you for sharing with us all 👍🏼😉😀
I've lived in Derbyshire my whole life (45 now) and never even heard of those places!!! I need to get out more!!! Great content Claire.
You have a core of steel. You're smart, resourceful, & persistent. Great video.
It’s a joy hearing you celebrate the good things in life. Well done.
Another brilliant video. Great quality and footage as usual. And well done for persivering and taking yourself out your comfort zone. All the best for the next one.
Great adventure perfectly presented in this video - thank you so much! 🤗
Brilliant vid as always. Great that you had the bivy just in case too. Well done getting that tent up! Take care.
very beautiful scenery, watching from Indonesia, greetings one hobby 👍
I'm glad I stumbled across your channel, you have a new subscriber 👍😁
ATB Andy
Girl power Clare. Well done with your persistence and not letting it defeat you. 💖
WOW!!! Wild one... Miss wild one. Great job. Another great vid Clair. Love from Australia. 😍👍👍
Thank you wild one. So strong, you are. Mad determination indeed! Thank you. Peace.
Welcome to Derbyshire, it does have its own weather on the tops and can change without warning, well done for taking it in your stride and great advice for carrying extra kit for those just in case episodes, hope you do some more Dark peak or Pennine Way videos, Thanks.
Wow what a night!! You kept a smile on your face though, despite the hassles. Great video work as well.
Welcome to the Peak District! I came here in 1973 (I know, before you were born!) for a 6 month course and stayed. There are so many lovely places round here. Bleaklow was a bit of a challenge for a first time though. Well done for getting through it.
Life experience, that’s what it’s about. Makes you stronger, builds memories. You are due a break. Love it.
Great video. That place is absolutely gorgeous, and I applaud you for sticking with it as I’m not sure I’d have gotten any sleep in that wind!
Honestly your very courageous and nothing seems to get you down. Fair play. The narrative is spot on.❤
It gets bleak on bleaklow tha knows. Great perseverance and great vid. Top effort Claire.👏🏻👏🏻
We go there every year in memory of a good friend that never got to see the waterfall, same path as you took its beautiful up there cant believe its the same place! Love your videos
Excellent video... good for you.
You are brave... but inspiring.
Thanks for sharing 😊
Can't believe how rugged it is... have never been... and need to kick myself and get there...
Stay safe
Thanks Richard :) yeh the Peaks was more challenging than I expected it to be 😄 hope you're having a great week! 🌿🐻
Great video and you show true grit not tapping out because of the weather. Nice
It has given me a lot of pleasure watching you develop your skills and confidence in yourself as a wild camper. well done. Crack on.
