I watched the full video from start to finish, you think a bloke in a ghillie suit can glide around a forest with no light in the pitch black?? Don't think so!
You heard wood knocks that echo around the forest warning other of your presents, thats common along with the feeling of anxiety installed within you.
When you were camping out didnt you hear something bipedal out there with no light again??
Watch Facts on how to hunt on UA-cam, that man has lived in the deep forests of Canada for over 250 days a year for a few decades being a professional hunter, if you dont believe me just listen to his knowledge and encounters that pour into him.
There was an encounter from the Howgills up in the lake district in the last few days from an ex military men that was interesting to say the least, as well as countless other from the UK and around the globe.
Good luck, stay safe and keep your head on a swivel........and as you've said, always listen to your sixth sense, it knows more than you realise!

@mikearmes9327 Thank you very much for your comment.
I don't quite know what is going on up there.
It is definitely not great it's quite annoying aswell.
I can understand the fact that it's difficult to navigate the wood and further forest, especially at night with no light.
I don't think they have Night vision equipment on as it don't look like that in the footage.
There would be a bulky mass in the front of the face area, also a IR light would show up on my cams.
I appreciate your opinion and also recommendation on the other channel's.
I'll have a look into it and keep a fairly open mind.
      I'm still not sure.

Been following this subject for 20 yrs since my first encounter and Steve Isdahls channel is the best because it's genuine. He had a How to hunt channel for yrs and never mentioned Bigfoot until he got tired of so many asking the question if he had seen him. So he finally broke down and told his story . Now in the last 3 yrs he has gotten over 15k emails of people telling their encounter and he reads them. When you rebuild your cabin, keep the bottom plates off the ground or they will rot out in a very short time (unless treated) . Have built many cabins in the forest. Bring your roofing iron at least 600mm (2 feet) forward of your door, keeps the rain from driving in. Collect the rain at the back in a small barrel. Our forest can be very remote so we don't have your problems. Good luck luck with the build. ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ. 😁

Me and a couple of mates used to go out at night rampaging through woods and on the moors. It was a regular thing. Peak District area north west Sheffield.
Little torches were only used when we stopped to skin up😂.
We would bash through Rohdedendrons down to a Beck, go up the Beck on the rocks or clambering through trees, bushes and Rohdedendrons, go up through the woods on to the moors and then come down a different Beck and bush bash.
Absolutely brilliant fun! Did it for years till my mid 40s.

I’m former military but I don’t mind saying I’d have my full spider senses tingling and put a jog on during the dark Winter walks 😂. I encountered a few homeless guys who were obviously using the woods to camp out. I’m thinking someone has made your land their home and is maybe trying to scare you off. I don't have any anxiety when camping but I take precautions myself i bring a 50 mm Dessert Eagle I have trip wires a night vision security camera set up and I stay Overland camper 4x4 Truck that is equipped with 360 security cameras I would never sleep in a tent ever me that like a coffin waiting to happen, you are completely blind in there and have no protection at all as far as I concern a tent is like being tied up and bound there are too many crazy maniacs walking this earth and I believe there is a creature in the woods that have yet to be discovered that see humans as meals I also prefer winter camping where less people are wandering around the forest, especially at night when it below zero . I alway aware of my surroundings you never going to be completely prepared for every situation but you can prepare yourself to be well equipped also . DONT BE FOOLISH OR CARELESS IN THE FOREST RESPECT THE WOODS AND MOTHER NATURE

    • @welcome2thewoodsuk
      @welcome2thewoodsuk  9 місяців тому +1

@markcoleman7368 That's good you don't get anxious while camping but if you have got all that you should be well safe to a degree.
I have got a couple of proper rifles and a 9+ 1 mossberg maverick pump shotty.
A gun is for hunting for me in the United Kingdom but I could see a good reason for one as protection in the states ect.
Plenty of things to bite your head off in the forests over seas.
I see why you would feel a tent is a disadvantage but I think it's part of the experience and a hunter gatherer sort way in this modern world.
Sadly we do have some loons running around on the earth but if it come down to it I got 17 stone of fight in me.
An if necessary absolutel necessary I've got an axe if I'm at some disadvantage.

G'day Karl, so many people are afraid of the night, and they let their fears overtake them. I take people into the mountains and give them the 'nighttime' experience We go into the forest just on dusk and are out walking for at least 6 - 8 hours and we turn off our torches and just sit in the dark. We do this many times during the evening and it shows them that there is nothing to fear. It helps some people but not all people. The NZ bush is very dense and even during the daytime it can be quite dark and foreboding and being so huge, we don't have people in monkey suits hanging around, they probably wouldn't have the energy or fitness to go the places we go. Enjoyed the video ATB Cheers from the mountains of NZ ☺☺

Not so sure .. Sasquatch is my thing I've got a few issues with it being one... the size , tracks, tree break's, what kind of food is in that particular forest..most Sasquatch in the UK you'll find are in heavily forested areas miles from civilization.. you'll never find a territorial Sasquatch near civilization only if their passing through smaller forests to use as go betweens at night and they'll follow disguised river beds and canal's to travel around the UK.. this doesn't seem to be passing through.. I'm guessing it's a person whose took up residence in that forest unaware it's owned by someone. And just trying to scare anyone who camp's there... popular places for Sasquatch in the UK are forests in mod land simply because civilians don't go there..my first sighting was on exercise in the army near Stone in Staffordshire 30 yrs ago.. camping with my rottie in the West country I wont say where but he attacked something growling near us I lost him for two hours found him covered in blood but not his.. then five years ago on my way to work saw one crossing the road from forest to forest about 100 yards away but vanished when I got close in the car. I would love to investigate this place though.

I was just about to say the same thing. It is Big foot and we do have them in the UK. I would love to see you in the same position as you caught it on camera. How much tall does it seam to be compared to you? Those wood knocks are to let you and anyone else that they know you are there in their area. Please put more trail cameras up to see how often they are being in that area. Is it daily? Weekly? On camera you hopefully will be able to see if there is only one or if it is a family? How big are those woods? Look forward to seeing more of your video's and if you manage to get them again on camera?

Great watching your vids mate brings back fond memories of uk ,I’ve Always had worries and anxieties camping out, be it in the middle of empty hills or night fishing near to town , I grew up in south bucks and as kids rabiting or night fishing we always had trouble with people trying to nick our gear so you could never get any real sleep and always haveing to worry about haveing trouble bred into us a bit of healthy respect for the night hours! , now I live in rural central Slovakia and it is so so much of a different scene no probs with thieves and antis but mega worries about bears and wild boar , my advice for you would be to get a good 4 legged friend … a well trained dog is the best security system you can have and a great help with your shooting etc as well , camping out with a dog is like having a best mate with you keeping watch all night .

In the UK? It could stroll into the village pub for a pint! The UK just is not that big or sparsely populated. I can understand people saying these things might exist in Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, and other places like that. Those places are so vast and inaccessible that yeah, who knows, there could be something undiscovered living out there. The UK is just far too small. Almost all of the rural land is used for agriculture and you're never far from people. If there were such things as Bigfoot here, they would be getting spotted all the time.

The guy maybe has an aluminium baseball bat or something he may be hitting against trees, maybe to help guide him in the darkness when he can't see where he's going. That you've heard/seen things several times, its almost certainly the same person and he's probably living there. Maybe go looking for his spot in the daylight as he's probably begging during the day outside some supermarket and what you heard could've been him going back to his spot. Anxiety is natural when you're in a tent with no window and no weapon. But i like that you are very honest about it. I respect that. I think possibly this time he didnt see the tent. If it was me i would get an aluminium baseball bat and some night vision goggles to even up the playing field, so you're not always having to react to what he does. But i agree with the guy who said set up camp and leave a light in it and then hide out waiting and watching. It could be local homeless, it could be illegal immigrants, it could just be someone who can't function in society. Either way it involves mental illness and unpredictability. But trashing your work is sign of him being territorial, to get you to leave.

The rise and fall gait is really interesting and a known trait of the North American Sasquatch. Either someone has practiced that gait and mastered it (not easy), or, this is a real deal. Arm length checks out on body ratio.
In the UK? I don't see why not. They are pretty much everywhere else.

I bet your alcoholic Uncle Frank made fun of you when you were a little kid cuz you told him that you thought Bigfoot was real and he ridiculed your ass so bad everytime he saw you that it brought you to tears and did so until you were 31 years old and he finally died. The complete trauma from all those years of ridicule made you vow to never believe or admit that these creatures exist even if you happened to be camping and one attacked your brown eye when you were sleeping and brutally destroyed it which did happen not once but three times but you still held on to that anger to this day where you cannot bring yourself to admit their existence even though years later you still live with the pain of a severely torn sphincter and a pulverized colon.

Try green Braided Fishing Line for your trip wire instead of paracord, it has zero stretch and less obvious being so thin 👍, also make the diameter of the trip line as large as possible so you’ll have more time to react if it goes off.

Nice video mate, if you zoom in with magnifier you can see two creatures are leaning out, one smaller, then when they step out and cross the large one is carrying the smaller one. Interesting place that certainly. That bit at the end was terrifying.

Send your footage to Thinker Thunker. He will be able to adjust the lighting in your footage and see clearly what you have. I hate to tell you, like so many before me in this comment section, sounds/looks like you had a Bigfoot encounter.

Enjoyed your video pal. Invest in a thermal camera or lend one to find out whats going on. Seems very odd for someone to be wondering the woods at night tree knocking. Good luck building the new cabin. If you get stuck i will happily lend you a thermal for a week or two.

I have got a company sending me a high end light to trial for them.

We are the same hear on terms of predators, we possibly do have the odd big cat I'm convinced of.
But there not ment to be hear, there almost escaped individuals I believe.
